After asking almost everyone I know that utilizes conferencing programs, I heard over and over that Uberconference was the most reliable. I love the fact that you can set your music and intro to the calls. The image is very clear and the fact that I can record the calls and get a transcript is awesome! I also love the fact that it pulls positive and negative comments from the call so you can focus on those areas later is really good. Cons It was a little complicated to deal with Dialpad as the support and recording program. I had no idea why I was seeing another program in the support and the backend of the software. You should be notified of this when you join so you know what to expect. " October 11, 2018 5.0 Pros Simply one of the best free conferencing call. The audio is clear. I love the idea that it does not require you any pin to join the conference. You won't need to memorize the pin or locate where you saved the pin to start conferencing. There will be a sound to alert you once somebody is joining the conference. Cons Since there is no pin, anyone who knows the extension can simply join, and you will have no idea who it is. So it's not good to discuss confidential information. Review Source Joe R. Pros Easy to use. Super easy to use. For both the host and the client, its almost brainless. Cons Call quality is not great, nor reliable. They are constantly improving it, so maybe its great by the time you read this, but my experience has been spotty. Also, no camera. So if you need a video call, you have to go find another service. We love it on my team and any issues we've had we've been able to quickly and seamlessly work through them with the excellent customer service. Pros Using UberConference is extremely easy to use, reliable and helpful when meeting with clients in different areas. It is very customizable and allows me to use different tools for different meeting types. Cons The scheduling function of this software is not very intuitive and is also not very reliable. I also love the ability to have my own custom URL making it super easy for anyone to join the meeting. The record meeting functionality is also great for sharing to people that have missed. We also have it set up in conference rooms making it easy to cast directly to TVs. Cons No ability to boot people from meetings that are not supposed to be in there. To ability to toggle the other person as unmuted (they must do it) when they are muted. Also, it is rather laborious to join meetings and can get very confusing for someone that is not familiar. Intuitive UI, high quality voice and visual, really a gem. Now, trash fire and evil customer support. Pros When this service first launched, it had great stability and fantastic user experience. Now it is a trash fire, and worse, customer service is horrible--doesn't listen, shoves article text to you that does not address the issue, not helpful, not even nice. Cons Doesn't work any more. Bugs that make it unusable and unreliable. Skype, Zoom, Hangouts, anything is better than this service now. It's also very handy that you can set it up with a number that does not require a pin number for entry because who has time for that. Cons We've had a few overlaps when others have forgot to close out the conference or used the number we had sent out ahead of us. This was fixed with some internal workflows but wasn't intuitive at first. Pros We've used UberConference for a number of years now and prefer it to the alternatives on the market for it's simple process of getting on a call, recording options, and the free option is great for a small team. Cons The Google extension is needed in order to get on a web call so if you have an older demo you are prospecting, they may not fully get it the first try. But it's a way better alternative to downloading a large file onto your desktop. Pros I use it for demo calls - the great thing about it is that you do not need to prompt attendees to install anything, they can dial in with their phones and it all comes with the free package. We struggled greatly with the software as we would miss key meetings due to dropped calls and had to resort to taking them via phone when we really needed to screen-share with our customers and prospects. Also, the sound and cameras are very accurate and of an high quality. Cons The calls would often drop and it would provide issues when each person only has one meeting room so other clients would join. However, I wish I could call in with my computer. I tried contacting UberConference support about this but my issue remains unresolved and support seemed wholly uninterested in helping me. Cons I have been unable to sign in from my computer as a personal user. Even after I log out of my company account, every attempt I make to sign in/call in/log in with an email address NOT associated with the company account fails. I am simply taken back to the UberConference home page. A representative said that it is because I was trying to sign in with my company account-associated email, which I have NOT been doing. S/he also said that if I have an email address associated with our company account, I would not be able to start another account with the same email address. This is also NOT true. I was able to start another account using the exact same email address. These two instances of being given false information leads me to believe that the customer service representatives have NO IDEA what they are talking about. I have also been having a technical issue where my microphone passes the call test but is unrecognized during an actual call. The representative I was corresponding with about this issue STOPPED responding to me one week ago, WITHOUT resolving the issue! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Review Source MR Michael R. As long as you schedule things out ahead, the meeting is done and ready to go for everyone involved. We used ReadyTalk before. Then someone asked me why we were paying monthly bills for conference calls. It was just always done this way so then I asked our IT director for reliable free options. He and his colleagues agreed that this was the best choice. And it has been. Pros Free conference calling for all your business needs. It's very easy to use and you even have your own choice of "hold" music while you're waiting on the line for other callers to call in. On the web dashboard you can even see who is calling in. It shows their number and location. Cons This is not a con for ME and my company in particular but you cannot have more than 10 people per conference call so that would be a con for other people who need more than 10. Would highly recommend Pros Our company is located all over the world - so we are constantly trying to find new platforms to try to connect. We have used things such as SLACK, Skype and Google Hangout, but usually with those platforms, once you have more than 4 or 5 individuals on the call, it gets very laggy. With UberConference, however it does not. Screen sharing just works, and audio is always very reliable. I love that I can record and download calls, making it easier reference interviews and information discussed. We use UberConference for all our client calls.
