Pros For our company we have offices located in multiple cites, and for us to keep in contact and keep up to date with the rest of our employees we use this conferencing software to get on regular calls. Had a number of dropped calls and calls that could not connect. (Up to 10 people) You can pay to upgrade, but I haven't needed to yet. The upgrade allows you up to 100 Participants, doesn't require a PIN, allows for international access, allows you to dial out to add guests to a call, and allows you to upload custom hold music. It's really easy to use and has fun, de-stressing, campy hold music (default) that plays while you're waiting for people to arrive to your meeting. You can also record your meetings. Well-designed and intuitive for even your most non-tech savvy employees. Cons The free version only allows for up to 10 participants, so we can't use it for our team meetings (unless of course we upgrade, but instead I use Zoom). Pros We host conference calls everyday, sometimes 3-10 conference calls every day. UberConference is perfect because it is cheap and easy - we get compliments all the time - there is no access code or pin! Cons I can't think of anything. The audio quality is great and there is very little lag between when a person is talking and another person hears them. Cons For some reason, even though I have a PIN, it often doesn't ask for a PIN. It is confusing to some people when you ask: "if you are trying to join another conference with this same number..." AND: just recently someone that was on one of our conference calls, has been getting messages from Uber with my account phone number indicating that he is waiting for me on my conference line and nothing was ever scheduled. Pros The ease of use is definitely what makes Uber Conference an asset in my workday. Users have the option of calling in or joining from their computer, which is very helpful. Cons The screen sharing feature on Uber Conference only works with Chrome, which can sometimes be a challenge. We've experienced it being glitchy before. Pros The pinless conference calls is the best feature of Uberconference and also the dedicated web link for attendees to join via computer mic and speakers. Cons I do not have any issues, but one limitation is you have to use Chrome Browser to share your screen. Being able to send out a link for team or sales calls is simple and straightforward. Performance has been great to date and we haven't had issues with call quality like we have with other providers. Cons Some of our team members using Vivaldi (the browser) have had some issues connecting and have needed to switch back to Chrome for using Uberconference. Integration with slack is useful as well. Unfortunately, highfive performs poorly when we need it most, working with remote users that may have spotty or poor bandwidth. It also is very CPU intensive. My MacBook is almost unusable while Highfive is running making it difficult to share certain things on my desktop. In summary, we use it because it's cheap, but would switch to a higher quality conferencing service if we could afford it. You dont need to install any program to use it. Cons They need to develop a better video solution. It's free and simple to use. Cons I switched from Uberconference to Zoom because I wanted to do video instead of audio calls.
