Pros

I track and metricize every call I make. I can easily reference previous conversations. Every gong call I make goes into my CRM.

Cons

Playback can be clumsy and troublesome from time to time.

Amazing! A+ product.

Pros

No brainer- this is the best recording tool for sales reps and their managers. With gong, I can’t actually focus during my calls instead of writing down every word. It’s easy for my manager to access my calls and leave feedback.

Cons

If my SDR schedules a meeting for me, it doesn’t automatically record so I’m missing a lot of recordings. I know there’s a work around here but sometimes I forget

Pros

Gong allows me to really pay attention to my prospect and dig into the conversation instead of worrying about taking perfect notes. I can review historical calls prior to meetings so I know exactly the language my prospect was using and the problems we're trying to solve. My ability to recap to a prospect where we stand has helped create a trust that wasn't as possible before Gong.

Cons

I wish auto summaries were a bit better.

Great - Gong has allowed me to carefully review mine and other team members calls and see the breakdown of topics, length of each person talking, and where there needs to be improvement.

Pros

I've been able to get much better at my job through call reviews whether they be my own or colleagues here at Yello. This solution has allowed me to pick up different techniques from others, as well show me where I personally need to get better.

Cons

Sometimes there can be a little bit of a delay when reviewing/analyzing calls. Quite honestly do not see too much issues with the solution. Colleagues can see where you messed up lol.

We have a very green sales team so our weekly deal reviews are a great training + improvement tool.

Pros

Gong has been an invaluable tool in deal reviews with my Sales Org and a training tool for SDRs hoping to transition to a Sales role. We also use it internally to gather product feedback.

Cons

The only feature I wish was different is toggling downloading capabilities on/off for every user, verses letting admins download and normal users not.

Pros

I love that Gong not only records calls but also analyzes the calls. It's a great tool to allow you to fully be attentive to your prospect and not worry about taking in-depth notes at the same time. Additionally, if there are others that need to be a part of the conversation, you can send them the entire call or the snippet of the call that is applicable to them.

Cons

I actually don't dislike anything about Gong.

Love it

Pros

Gong is awesome! I am typically in back-to-back meetings so Gong helps me with all of my follow-ups! I love that it records all my calls and I can send it to my prospects. It's super easy to use. I don't have to do anything and it just sends me an email after.

Cons

I don't have really anything negative to say. If I wouldn't have to click into Gong to send a prospect the recording and could send it directly through my email, that would be nice!

Cons

transcription software is not up to date with technical terms making it hard to search for words that are common acronyms. ie SIEM

We have used this, gong.io, as a training tool and also a quality tool as you can listen to the calls to ensure all the information shared with the customer was accurate.

Pros

I love sharing our calls/training with customers. My customers have commented on how those videos have allowed them to go back and review our calls for better understanding.

Cons

I with the transcription was better. It still works but it could be better.

Pros

I can pull recordings of internal, external, inbound and outbound calls from one simple console. Search for specific words, terms and phrases makes it super quick. Ability to share snippets, rather than whole calls have to search for timestamped portions of a call.

Cons

Sometimes can take a while to get the recording to go live in the system to pull a recent call. After about an hour, everything seems to show up.

The overall experience has been great, so far we hadn't had any downtime. The technology is solid and very intuitive. It's nice to have a technology that doesn't cost headaches with functionality and process changes.

Pros

My favorite thing about Gong is that it transcribes your conversations so that you don't have to take notes and focus on the customer during the conversation. It also holds valuable KPI reporting that helps you improve and coach others on your team.

Cons

I don't like how long it takes to upload a phone call. It would be immensely hopeful if you could get this call immediately or minutes after the call. Sometimes you forget something and would like to reference the call or you need your notes more immediately and it would be nice not to have to wait.

Unreal product. Hopefully am a lifetime user in all of my future sales roles.

Pros

The ability to go in after your calls, analyze, and take notes is completely invaluable throughout every step of a sales cycle. I can't even imagine not using this tool in a B2B SaaS- selling role in which a huge portion of our calls occur on Zoom.

Cons

Finding specific calls can sometimes be difficult if you don't know the exact title of the call.
