It's so easy to have call reviews especially during the on-boarding process and as you develop your communication and sales skills. It enables valuable feedback and holds you accountable.

It's great for call coaching and accountability on calls with clients.

Pros

The product rocks - it actually analyzes your call and picks up keywords brought up on the call and marks them on the recordings with a marker so you can jump to particular spots of the call. It also pulls the talk time between you and the other caller which is great for call coaching purposes.

Cons

I honestly don't have any cons on this product. They are even great about analyzing the call extremely fast too!

Great for improving my speaking and selling skills by showing me important metrics on my speaking style (especially filler words). Also a great tool for making sure you can easily reference important discussions with clients. I have dozens of calls every week, and it helps me to stay on top of things.

Pros

Easy to refer back to important conversations with a quick keyword search. Really great for getting quick feedback from my manager on important conversations.

Cons

The text translations isn't great. Although it could be the way I speak.

Cons

I've found that there can be an overwhelming amount of calls to sift through sometimes.

Overall a good tool to help analyze calls and give you a breakdown of what took place.

Pros

Easy to use and navigate the system. The audio quality is good and consistent.

Cons

Basic things like using a phone number to search are not available. Also it does not allow you to set up parameters to find your calls. You have to select your name and company.

Easy to go back and listen to calls to listen to specific parts of conversations and use as a training tool to learn from colleagues.

Cons

Transcript isn't always accurate and can be hard to read through but more often than not it works to go through and search for key words or phrases.

It's amazing for coaching. I can tag multiple managers and VPs in calls of interest, and mark the timestamp for them to listen to. I can also pull up interesting calls from teammates as well.

Pros

I love the transcription. Instead of looking for a part of the conversation I need to note, I can just pull up the transcription and ctrl-F for the part of the conversation I need.

Cons

I dislike how long it takes to sync. While that's certainly hard to transcribe, I've had a few calls take several hours to process, and some take 5 minutes. It can seem a bit random sometimes as far as processing speed.

Both our sales and success teams use Gong and its really helpful to follow the customer journey right within gong - calls and emails - when we're passing a relationship from one team to the next. We can review previous interactions and pick up right where the sales team left off

Cons

Sometimes it can be hard to search terms in the transcript because it misunderstands. Most of the time its just fine but it can be an issue on some calls.

I've been able to study the work of my colleagues to understand what specifically makes them successful so that I can replicate what they do well on my own! It's been a tool that has allowed me great growth in my professional development.

Pros

Gong is easy to use and breaks down your calls so you're able to see where you can improve and statistically what you are doing well. It provides transcripts, and tags certain parts of the calls so you are able to jump ahead based on what you want to review. We love how intuitive and thoughtful Gong is as a software.

Cons

I have not come across something in Gong that has been less of incredible.

Gong is a very easy to use sales tool. I like jotting down old school notes, however, Gong makes it easy to go back and review the meeting, share the meeting with internal team members, and is great for preparing for future meetings.

Pros

Gong is very intuitive and easy to use. I have never been frustrated with this software. I like that it is seamless.

Cons

Sometimes it feels a little big brother-ish like any software in this field does.

We used Gong.io to gain insights into our sales conversations.

Pros

I love when it recorded calls, created a transcript, and gave some stats on talk time, patience, monologues, etc.

Cons

It's a bear to get it to record my calls. We use Dialpad and HubSpot, and it never really got set up correctly. What's worst is that to record video calls via Zoom, it joins as a 3rd participant, which means you're on a 40-minute clock on the free version. Pretty much makes Zoom Pro a necessity if you're trying to do product demos and close the sale then and there.

Pros

Gong.io is going to help take my sales team to the next level. Being able to track calls, listen to calls to provide feedback, find areas of improvement, (I can keep going) has never been easier. Their integration with Zoom makes everything automated. I can now easily see trends in calls, see what clients are talking about, and make adjustments to our pitch. Love the software.

Cons

There is a lot going on. Sometimes I have a hard time finding the exact tools I am looking for, but I am sure that will come with time.

Can't think of a con. Sometimes longer calls take a while to upload, but that's about it.

Pros

To be able to go back and listen to a call has been huge. What people say is the biggest indicator for if a deal will close vs relying on your emotions you felt during the call. It keeps you honest.

Cons

It's very impressive, im not sure what else they can do to make it better. The transcripts are great.

Pros

Love listening to my call recordings days or weeks after a call has happened. Helps me pick up on details I missed. Like that I can skip easily between who is speaking. I also re-listen to highlights when I have an upcoming call with the same client so I am focused back on the original conversation.

Cons

Would be nice to have it invisible on Zoom. Sometimes customer thinks someone else is on call.
