Pros: After running the systems for a few months. We start to see the reports and it give us insight that we have never know before. Although that we are selling a lot of waffles ice cream but the most profitable products actually come from other menu item. And we also learn that the discount on the right timing will increase sales by multi fold.
With this systems, we can be more responsive by reading the report. If it can benefits us as a small dessert shop. I am sure it will have greater impact to larger restaurant with more patrons.
Cons: Some of the features are complicated and not easy to use. Example like recipe management, although it can deduct the raw materials everytime I sold something, but I have to spend a lot of time to manage the ordering. If this can simplified, it will save my time.
Overall: We have more accurate information about what is selling and what is not selling. The systems telling us what is profitable, and we can focus on more complicated marketing yet not to worry that other cafe is copying what we are doing. They only see what is selling fast but will never know what is profitable. This is directly affecting our profitability.
