Highly recommendable, even if you need only some features and not all of them, make sure you train an administrator and that you keep track of the amount of usage.

Pros

It could be used across different technologies, it is easy to validate how it is working reliable, and versatile.

Cons

It does need an expert, if you are tightly reliable on it, in case you have an incident or problem

Workflow customization: you can create scripts to make your own business workflow.

Cons

Consistency: in our production environment, sometimes, the engine process just stopped and couldn't restart gracefully unless server restarted.

The SharePoint connector could be more robust and intuitive for the users to interact with.
