The team at Paperform have always been super friendly, responsive, quick, polite, and a joy to interact with. I can't say enough good things about them. And well, of course their product is also amazing so that helps! Pros I love how flexible their forms are, how easy they are to create and how friendly they are for our users. They allow pre-filling, conditional display, answer piping, etc. It integrates with anything you can think of. Direct integration with Notion, Google Sheets, Trello, Slack, Monday, multiple ESPs, can output PDFs, collect signatures, collect payment (stripe and paypal), manage bookings, and if that was not enough it can also output webhooks. The few times I've contacted support they've been quick, friendly, and decisive. We have an agency account and collect thousands of submissions daily on behalf of our clients. I've been a very happy customer for several years and love how quickly they innovate and how reliable the product is. Cons This is kinda nitpicking but I'd love to be able to customize the webhook output so I didn't have to rely on an in-between app (n8n in my case) before piping answers to other platforms like Ontraport. The builder is easy enough that I didn’t have to Google anything (a miracle), and the team is genuinely lovely. Always happy to help, even when I’m being a bit useless. It’s made me look like an absolute pro to my clients, and even better, it’s helped them impress their own clients. Bit of a win-win, really. Pros Paperform is incredibly easy to use - super intuitive, even the AI form builder feels like it's reading my mind (in a good way). I’ve never had a single issue with submissions, and the spam filtering actually does its job...no more dodgy SEO pitches clogging things up. For the price, it’s a bit of a steal. I’ve got loads of clients on it and never once hit a “no more submissions” limit. Cons Genuinely, there’s not much to whinge about. Everything just works. The interface is clean, the features actually do what they say they will, and if anything goes a bit sideways, the support team are straight on it. I’ve used a fair few form builders over the years, and most come with a bit of baggage—glitches, clunky layouts, or features that feel like they were added for show. Paperform’s refreshingly free of all that. If I had to nitpick, I suppose I could say I haven’t explored every single feature yet… but that’s more of a me problem. Caldera Forms, which eventually became Ninja Forms, always felt clunky and gave me constant grief with SendGrid. Some submissions wouldn’t even go through, which is a bit of a nightmare when clients are relying on it. Cognito wasn’t much better. The interface looked outdated and awkward to use, and the email filtering barely worked. Most of the time it just didn’t. Compared to all that, Paperform has been a breath of fresh air. The customer support is top-notch, and it’s fantastic knowing that the owners are actively involved in connecting with users like me. Since I started using Paperform years ago, I've had zero downtime—100% uptime has made my workflow seamless. Pros I can't say enough about the customer support including Dean and Diony. The owners still connect with the clients even for how big they are now. Diony still answers emails. Their product is ROCK SOLID and very feature rich. Hands down the best form processor that I use Cons Nothing that I can think of. I would like to have the best package for paperform.co but I cannot justify the cost. Trust me, I will bet it is worth every penny but the version I use works well for me and although there are some things like custom HTML and such that I don't have everything works 100% with no downtime that I can remember in 9 years. I have not found a limitation around my use cases yet! Pros Paperform is flexible enough for me to use for a lot of different purposes. We currently use it for all our job applications and I've used it to collect information when I was the sponsor chair for WordCamp Denver. One of the things I love most about it is various built-in automation, as well as a world of possibilities when you connect it with Zapier. We use Paperform + Zapier to connect with other tools we frequently use. We use their Airtable and Slack integrations to keep the team in the loop as we get new applicants, organizing the information in a way that's easy to act on it. I also love that you can sell digital products using Paperform, which is helpful since it's not a big enough part of my business to seek a separate solution for — and I don't have to because Paperform is so straightforward to use for this purpose. Cons The one issue my team has reported is that if you change a form that has historic data, it doesn't update backwards. So when you go to export past forms, the prompt and answer are jumbled and difficult to parse. This issue could be mitigated by making a new copy of forms and sunsetting the old version from public access, although that's pretty clunky (luckily though, all of Paperform's plans include unlimited forms). You don't need access to their systems which can alleviate a number of security concerns. You can design great looking forms that are a million miles from the freebies we've all seen. The back end stuff is clever too. If you do run into problems, there are real people to get you sorted. Pros Paperform is a step up from the free forms apps you typically see with their vendor branding, response limits and simplistic layouts. Paperform lets you create forms as easy as creating a document, but it is easy to make it look great and present it with your desired branding on a web page. And you don't have to get IT involved. Cons There were a few branding/design issues in the early days and not many integrations, but that is far from the case today. With direct integrations, Zapier and Integromat, Paperform is probably the most integrated forms application around. Pros The really cool feature I found is, it can accept numbers with decimals like (10.25, 6.5), If you are building forms to accept payments or some measuring values this is a really cool function and you can even add videos also to the form. And this gives you a full-featured application trial version without a credit card. Cons There is nothing to say about Paperform, but if you can extend the trial period that is better to get a good understanding before purchasing the product. Pros It's not fair to classify Paperform only as a form application. You can certainly create simple and complex forms with Paperform, but, is so much more. You can even build an ecommerce with it. You just need to be creative, because they provide all the tools needed to do it! We have been using Paperform to: - onboard clients, - Charge customer (we use both PayPal & Stripe) - Gather reviews and any way you want it. For example, I didn't see a way to embed the form on our website, but either way the hosted page was branded and since it didn't have a navigation menu on the top I felt it would serve as a better funnel. Pros Really fast to get a form up, they have the logic you need to make questions conditional. And it integrates with Slack and other apps so the data is not just siloed in Paperform. Cons It didn't have much flexibility for adding our logo to the top and aligning it center, left, etc. That would be nice. The team has recently been rolling out newer features (the addition of the autosave feature is such a relief!) and improved the tool UX. The conditional logic feature has allowed me to create good workflows that help me capture more accurate data. Cons The tool can be a little slow from a performance perspective because it takes a wee bit of time to load.
