Pros Bigvu is great for coming up with a script and being able to make a video without looking scripted. We use it a lot in our office for content creation, and it is made the ease of use amazing. Cons Some of the functions like reading speed seems to jump a little bit despite being set at a certain speed, subtitles seem limited in options as far as aesthetics. I have a product launch and have been making videos for top of funnel, but in this day and age, you can't have something look like it is poorly dubbed. Pros I love the teleprompter and now with the ai script tool, it is really easy to get going. The AI eye fixer so you don't look like you are reading is a great feature. I have been using BigVu for over a year. Cons Initially my only issue with bigvu was the limitation on where you could place the captions. They can ONLY be on the bottom half of the screen. You can't move them around to be at the top of the screen It is really designed for someone with a tripod and their body takes up the whole portrait mode, not someone walking and talking recording in selfie mode, because then the captions will cover most of your body and sometimes your face. I accepted I had to use a different tool to edit. BUT NOW... some glitch in their software causes the mobile version to record out of sync. The audio lags the video by a few seconds. Really noticeable It worked fine in the spring - April. Then in May it started having problems. I thought it was because I had an old phone. Got a new phone and it still persists. Tech support has no idea why. They just keep suggesting to toggle between phone one or phone two. I've tried at every speed. It's a great app to use for online auditions where there's a lot of copy. Pros I purchased a lifetime licence and love not paying monthly. I like that I can create a script by typing it in the app on my computer and then log into it on my phone for when I'm recording. I also like that I can adjust the speed and font size. Cons No matter how hard I tried, when recording in landscape, because of where the lens is on my phone it doesn't look like I'm looking directly in the camera. The "eye fix" is weird and looks unnatural...so still figuring that out. It does what it says it’ll do and has a lot of useful features but it was just too expensive for me. Pros The teleprompter function was really helpful as it means I can record more content at once without having to worry about remembering all my lines. The video editing was pretty good as well. Cons I found it a bit too expensive for my needs and needed a cheaper option. I’m mainly creating content for my business and can’t really justify the cost for the amount I was using it. When I found BigVu, I felt like I did when I found my spouse. It's what I'd been looking for my whole life! (Well, at least for a LOT of years when it comes to my video creation needs). Pros The ease of use, ability to upload and edit scripts on the fly, switching from desktop to mobile device usage, the speed and flexibility of features, and outstanding customer support. Cons Not being able to have folders to sort videos in the lower level tier. Reasons for choosing BIGVU This was a happy accident. I didn't really know how awesome BigVu was until I got it and started playing with it. But after the fact, the value is HANDS DOWN huge compared to all other options. It would get stuck, not recognize my mic or camera. It was very frustrating. Customer support was always responsive, but unable to help at the time and couldn't really use it. But that was then. They have clearly resolved the issues. Now I use it all the time and it works like a charm. It's been a game changer for me because I really do rely on my scripts when recording. Pros It enables me to create videos with the support of a script but without making it obvious that I'm relying on the script.I like how easy it is. Very short learning curve. It's very intuitive. Cons It takes a while to for the videos to process before I can download the finished product, but I think that's true of all video processing and not just Bigvu. This was really convenient and saved me a lot of time compared to using separate software for recording and editing. The video quality was also excellent, and I was able to easily add subtitles and other effects to make the final product look polished and professional.Can also upload directly the video to your social medias Cons A few bugs yet and optimisations that could be done, and a really long time to upload the videos. I think it will get better soon.You still add to upload manually to Tiktok if you want to create a miniature.
