So far it's great, and we are excited to see how it helps us as we grow. We believe this will help us get out guests connected quickly.

Pros

This is helping us connect with New Guests and identifying them in an easy non-intrusive way!!!!!!!!

Cons

Not sure yet, I need some more time using it. We are using this as part of our guest service assimilation. So PC integration is great, but maybe being able to access it through PC would be helpful.

I would rate my overall experience with clearstream a B. It has been a great tool but I wish that there was more. Other platforms such as gloo seem to offer more insight tools to use but clearstream is far more user friendly.

Pros

We have loved using clearstream and being able to easily communicate with families through text. Having email and text together has been amazing!

Cons

The phone app. I wish that pictures should up in the app when they were sent but for some reason they don't/

Sent about 50 messages through Clearstream to 80 family members and friends in order to keep them updated on my son's NICU stay and my wife's recovery from an unexpected pregnancy complication. We started literally calling them "Clearstream Updates" and they also served to force my wife and I to sit down and essentially journal what we wanted to share at any given moment. Appreciate you guys for playing a role in that. Blown away by what the product can achieve and how smooth it feels, given the size of your guys' group. Can tell you're good at listening to customers. Refreshing to interact with! Thanks again.

Pros

Product is simple to use, reliable, and reasonably priced. Clearstream did all the things I needed to keep 80 people up to date on my baby's hospital stay.

Cons

Some clunky UI limitations. Would be great if the app was as functional as the web client.

Don't remember. Did a lot of Googling. Looked at Twilio, base SMS stuff, iMessage, etc. Ease of use, transparent low-commitment pricing, and the ability to meet the requirement to send mass texts drove the decision.

The app is good but took a little getting used to.

Gloo had auto responder texts using AI that we could not control and many times were incorrect. I reached out to them a couple of times and was told they could not be turned off and did not plan on changing things.

I like the app and ease of use for scheduling and sending messages, it’s nice that it integrates with our other platforms as well. Setting up keywords and alternatives has been an easy process.

Cons

It’s not always intuitive on where I need to go to find reports such as who has unsubscribed from text messages.

It's been a great experience so far! I'm glad that there is a lot of opportunity for integration! The videos are helpful as well!

Pros

It's easy to use & organize the contacts we're following up with! I love that I can schedule texts! I also love the Dashboard area where I can see the feedback & statistics.

Cons

I wish the phone app had more functional features where I could try to resend a message that failed to send. Also, would love it if I could send e-mails from Cleastreatm

It's been great to be able to communicate with our church family so efficiently. Everyone seems to have been able to switch over to Clearstream with no problems and everyone seems to be enjoying it!

Pros

Customer support is amazing!! They are extremely helpful and quick! The chat feature has been very useful in getting us started on Clearstream!

Cons

We were shocked how quickly the credits add up! So thankful for custom packages to add more credits!

From customer service to tech support and ease of use, Clearstream is amazing. I appreciate the new church plant free service and will continue to be a client when the promotion expires.

Pros

I love being able to schedule text messages and send video messages. As a Pastor of a new church plant, sometimes I keep weird hours, and it allows me to communicate without imposing too much on my volunteers. Videos help give a personal touch to new people.

Cons

I have not experienced anything negative to this point. Clearstream has been very helpful, and I would strongly recommend to new church plants

So far, the experience with Clearstream has been straightforward and on cue with what we expected. It has accomplished our goals.

Pros

This dedicated platform for mass texting and emailing has been working perfectly. Our various choirs have been receiving my weekly updates with precision.

Cons

As with most new tech platforms, it takes a bit of time to get used to the layout. I had to go hunting at first for some of the input sections but once you get used to the formats, it's pretty simple.

Its been really great - we are a startup church and we worked with someone from the team to get our account set up and have been rocking it from that moment!

Pros

Its really user friendly - we love that multiple team members can be monitoring incoming texts and that we are able to personalize our outgoing text.

Cons

Well of course we'd love it if it was free ;) Honestly its the only thing that might make it better for us at this point is the ability to have a free account up to a certain number of credits.

Pros

I love the way it is easy to configure from beginning to end. I love scheduling text out ahead of time.

Cons

The price point was the scariest part for us. We were on the fence but we had extra in the budget and made the jump. It has been totally worth it.

Phenomenal! Their tutorial videos are well-produced, and if I have further questions beyond those, their customer support is extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Pros

Very clean interface, very easy to use! Their support is absolutely amazing. The wide variety of features is also amazing–we most commonly use keywords and QR codes to promote events we're doing and communicate with attendees. I'm so appreciative of the Planning Center integration and am continually impressed with all the automation that affords me.

Cons

There was a slight learning curve with the fact that I can't see full chat history in the inbox, like I'll get a notification that someone replied to an automated message that went out, but I can't see the message they're replying to. But if I remember correctly I think they're actually working on that.

It has been a great transition from Remind. We are able to send out all of our information and everyone gets it now.

Pros

The admin page is easy to navigate. My church loves that this is not a group texting platform and they can respond without it going to everyone else.

Cons

Lol, the cost! We went from using a free platform to having to pay for Clearstream but I do enjoy what we have now.

It is an excellent program that helps me to communicate with members of my congregation and have the flexibility of sending information with links.

Pros

Great customer support and well worth the price. You get your monies worth. I highly recommend that if you need assistance in clearly communicating to your congregation.

Cons

Not able to add people by email only. Requires a cell phone number and that does not work well with older congregations that still use landline.

Pros

The ability to send mass texts to parents and teens in our student ministries. Having a direct form of communication has proved vital.

Cons

An inability to send PDFs; that has definitely hurt us coming from the former communication service we used.

So far our church is loving using it. We may expand for use in other ministries. It is nice to have multiple administrators as well.

Pros

Keeping people informed instantly. Nobody was reading emails anymore. Easy to use for mobile device.

Cons

I have not found a way to be able to attach a picture from a mobile device. I also cannot add people to groups from my phone.

We've been using it for years and even with other options being available, we choose to stay with Clearstream. It's easy for our whole team to use, we're able to use polls, links, scheduled messages, and recurring messages. There is probably more that we haven't utilized but we're very happy with everything we've needed to use it for.

Pros

Clearstream is very user friendly and integrates with other programs we use. Their customer service has been very helpful and quick to find solutions to any issues I've had.

Cons

I wish you could access more through the app. We use polls a lot and I'm not able to see the poll results on the app.

Pros

Quick communication with my ministry and good responses. I am able to reach out to our communication quickly and effectively.

Cons

How much it costs to get new credits because our audience is growing. We may need to upgrade our plan to fix this issue.

Excellent! The user interface is easy-to-use, and the data/feedback is clear. All things being equal, Clearstream is the right choice.

Pros

Super easy to use, fair pricing, staff very responsive. If I had to rebuy this product, I'd certainly do it.

Cons

The user interface could use a snappy graphics update. While everything is super easy to use, the UX isn't on par with competitors.

Overall as are enjoying it. Working in 2026 to get more groups organized for more detailed communication.

Pros

What I like most is their integration with Planning Center and the ease of sending out a quick text in the go cos the phone app.

Cons

I didn’t like how u couldn’t send an email out via the app and resulted into using the planning center app to do it there natively. As a pastor of a small church share u wear several hats, it’d be nice to be able to do it all from the app rather than needing to have my laptop with me all the time.

I love the feature of being able to send emails too. A few of our members do not text. We can view responses and a status of messages sent from the dashboard.

Pros

Ease of use and great support. I love that we can schedule text messages and emails!

Cons

That we cannot attach a PDF to a text message or an image or PDF to an email.

### "Good for the price, but not for everyone"

It fulfills its promises, and the one-month trial was great because it allowed me to try out the product before buying. I’ve been able to connect with the students better, especially first-timers, since I don’t have to share my personal phone number, which also protects my privacy.

Pros

I like that I can text the students in mass but have individual conversations when they text back. Simple interface that works with PCO

Cons

I want a cheaper tier. 1200 credits per month is a lot. 600 credits per month for 10 dollars would be ideal for me.

Customer service has been great! We had a free trial that we set up, but unfortunately with many other things we were implementing there was not time to set up Clearstream so our trial expired. I reached out to customer service and she immediately set us up with another free trial. I was grateful for her friendliness and how quickly she was able to get things set up.

Pros

We are still working with it to become familiar with the system. It seems user friendly so far, and I like how it interfaces with Planning Center.

Cons

I'm still working on figuring out how to push notifications to my email when we receive a text. So far notifications are only showing up in my Clearstream account. I will reach out if I continue to have difficulty with set up.
