The software does what I expect it to do, and the PDFs look really good. Pros Easy way to make PDF copies of webpages. Their browser works just like any other that I use, so I just go to the page I want and click a button to capture the page. We need copies of a lot of Facebook profiles, and their software automatically gets to the bottom of a timeline and opens all of the comments. The PDFs look really clean when we print them. Cons No major complaints on the software. For really long Facebook profiles, the software takes some time to complete, but I just work on other things while it is opening the comments and making the PDF. The team is very friendly and knowledgeable when I need to speak with them. They also have a services option when I want them to do the collection work. This is helpful depending on my workload and type of project. Overall prices seem fair. Pros Works for Facebook, Instagram & other social media. Their browser software creates PDFs that look right, and I like that we can get affidavits when needed. Their Facebook expander is awesome for capturing entire FB timelines. If I have a question or difficult project, their support team responds very quickly - love talking to Wes! Cons No major problems. Even more automations would be nice. Regarding a Chrome extension, we built the Page Vault browser specifically for legal use so our software keeps users out of the chain of custody. Any browser extension, including one for Chrome, would not preserve the chain of custody -- with a simple plugin, web content can easily be altered prior to the capture process, which obviously is bad for legal use cases. This is exactly why Page Vault avoids that approach and uses a cloud-based browser, and also why we can provide affidavits for any capture done with our software.
