Easy to manage - easy to set up so saving alot of manual work. Pros Very easy to pick up and use - then you keep finding more functionality. The log for all activity are brilliant. Cons I HATE that each individual user has to install it. It seems like a very large downfall that really discourages our users from using it just because some of them need to install a pre-req/redist, which requires an admin, but the actual installation of the product specifies that the USER has to install it. Used the software for: ### "Great to work with!" March 20, 2017 5.0 I've been using this software since version 4.3.x which was back then quite a feature-rich application. Can't say enough good for the current version 5.4.x which has incorporated a few new features, including drag and drop components for project layout, all in a well presented WEB-based interface. The job scheduler is quite flexible, with email alerts, repeat on fail and holiday schedules. The documentation is extensive, but not always easy to find details of specific issue like trying to work with elements of array variables. The support team is top notch, they are ready to help with specific issues and give pointers for specific implementation tasks. Product updates are straightforward. The product itself has operated without a glitch since its purchase, which I must say is a peace of mind. All in all, I am very pleased with it and I highly recommend giving it a try. Pros: Connectors for most protocols, drag and drop, debugging tool, scheduler flexibility, audit logs of all transfers, support. Used the software for: ### "Adaptable managed file transfer" March 23, 2017 4.0 One of the major points that drew us to GoAnywhere MFT was the web interface for development so that we could be platform agnostic. There were some initial learning curves with job development to streamline their effectiveness, but now that we've gotten past some of the hurdles it's fulfilling nearly everything we throw at it. The two caveats so far have been the standard reports being an add-on module. The welcome dashboard and audit logs are free. We also haven't yet found a way to call an outside script, but we've found that for most things, the outside scripting work could be accomplished in GoAnywhere. Overall, it's a very good product. Updates are easy to apply. Documentation is sufficient. The built-in help is an excellent guide. I would recommend this product to others looking for a managed file transfer solution.
