We have some new physicians coming on board so I am excited to be able to try the onboarding feature out soon to see how that goes. Overall, my initial contact with the sales department, setting up the platform with my project manager, and the time spent with my training specialist was awesome. It has been such a pleasure to work with everyone on the implementation team. I am happy I chose Modio! Pros I love all of the features but the one I like most is the provider profile set up feature. It is super easy to add a new provider to my group and add all the important documents that the system will automatically alert me prior to a cert expiring. This helps me keep all of my doctors info up to date. Cons The only thing I noticed about the product that I would change is the alert timeframe. The system automatically alerts us 60 days prior to expiration dates, however, I wish this timeframe could be customizable so I can set it to alert me further in advance if desired. I decided against it once I saw how user friendly Modio is and the cost was significantly less. Symplr is also used for the enterprise level business and I only require a small platform at this time. The team is awesome. Very knowledgeable and professional. Pros I like the fact that it is easy to use. Everything I need for a provider is in one place. I don't have to use multiple systems for data tracking. Also, it verifies OIG, State License and DEA monthly or definitely when needed. Cons I cannot answer this question as of yet because implementation is not complete. Reasons for choosing Modio Health They responded! They have accommodated most requests (see cons above for those they are not able to do at this time), respond quickly and address any needs quickly. They are friendly and helpful and more importantly, knowledgeable about their software. Pros This software allows easy tracking of providers, their status with healthcare payors, their personal, immunization and licensing information as well as ID numbers for the healthcare industry. It is concisely organized and easily accessible. Cons There are some features that would be useful (for example, importing a payor to multiple providers at one time; right now, it must imported one by one. It would also be useful if the note information moved from provider to the other when importing the payor information. And the Task function could be improved - it does not notify when a task has been missed (required completion date has been missed). Reasons for choosing Modio Health Price and ease of use. I am able to give the providers a 2-3 month notice of upcoming expiration dates. The providers are happy therefore I'm happy!! Pros This software is very user friendly. The training sessions are informative, and the specialists are well trained and competent. Information can be shared with other providers/companies using the software. You can decide what information is shared and what is kept private. Providers are able to sign all necessary documents with DocuSign. This allows for a faster turnaround. Everything is at your fingertips, no more going to individual websites to verify information. You can verify license, DEA, OIG, etc. from the platform. Cons Some improvement could be made with the "tags" search options. If you use the tags to search and go to a different screen, the search options are cleared, and you have to set them again. Not only is the software very user friendly, but the implementation team that I worked with (primarily \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] and \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]) was fantastic! They were incredibly helpful and accommodating, and answered any questions I had during the implementation process. While I miss working with them now, the Modio Support Team is also very helpful, and responds quickly to all of my requests. Pros The tracking component is great! It allows us to make sure we are completing timely follow ups on all of our applications in process without losing track of any! It allows me to copy and paste important emails into the tracking notes so I (or my teammates) know where we stand for each application. Cons I wish that we could assign tasks on the provider level to show up in the tracking tab. This would allow me to create and track a task like "create NPI" or "update CAQH" that doesn't fall under a specific health plan. I also wish there was a more extensive PSV component, and that they had NCQA accreditation so that Modio could support us in our delegated credentialing down the road. Multiple people can view what licenses are set to expire. This allows for the whole team to send our physicians friendly reminders to renew their licenses. We are also able to pull data such as home address and dob making it easy for us to see where our physicians are licensed and what states they reside in. Cons If all the licenses can automatically refresh each month that would be a game changer!
