As stated above, customer support has been excellent!! Always willing to help. Always have update releases.

Pros

The online application is easy to complete. Processing of applications is easy to complete. Most of all, customer support has been excellent-very prompt in responding to any issues. Do wish there was a little more customization for each organization.

Cons

Do wish there was a little more customization for each organization. Would like a way for applicants not to have to upload documents with each application - place for them to be stored. Some type of index available for the DB toolbox describing each custom field in JobAps and how it ties back to the various screens or that all fields are available for reporting on all tabs not just certain tabs.

Our overall experience has been exceptional.

Pros

There are several items that we like about this software. The state of Connecticut has many statutes and collective bargaining agreements that must be adhered to. In October, 2017, we moved from a very manual system with many rules to JobAps. Implementation was quick and seamless. So far, we have been able to either change our business process to work within the system or JobAps has been able to make changes for us. As legislation has changed, JobAps has been able to make changes to our site to comply with legislation, legal challenges or grievances. Recently, during Phase 2, we were able to work with JobAps to build in very complicated reemployment/mandatory rights for certain employment actions into the system for approximately sixteen different unions. So far, we have not faced many challenges from unions and we were able to implement the process successfully in December, 2019. We also are very satisfied with the referral questionnaire process which helps us shortlist large recruitment pools and are looking forward to enhancing this process through an AI tool which we will be implementing with JobAps. Our customer support is the very best. We rely on this system and anytime we have had questions or needed troubleshooting, the response time has been exceptional. We have had a great amount of success with our Online Employment Center and it is very easy to use.

Cons

The user guides are very generic. We have created our own detailed step guides in order to try to control the quality of the work produced by our staff. I wish they were more detailed and there was more information available on reporting. I think that the system is capable of so much and if we had a little better understanding of how to create and reformat reports, we could ever better utilize the system. Anytime we have asked for assistance with creation of reports, we have received it very quickly.
