Developer Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Simple to use, cost-effective, works great" March 27, 2018 5.0 Affordable mass email marketing Pros Mailblast has a clean interface, that is easy to navigate yet has a good selection of options and customizations. Imported ~70k subscribers without issue, handles duplicate entries automatically. The drag and drop template builder is nice, and has features that other platforms such as Constant Contact does not have (responsive columns, paragraph line height, etc). Have not ran into a single bug or issue as of yet. Cons Have yet to run into a con as of yet, however it would be nice to have additional features suc as geolocation targetting, and A/B testing. The interface is very simple, too simple. Segmentation is a big problem. The only thing I like is the automation option. If you have a very small list, it can work for you, but if you have tens of thousands of subscribers, there are more suited mailers with much less cost to serve your needs. Pros The free trial offers 1000 subscribers with unlimited emails. They use Amazon SES. They have Stripe as a payment method. Can be integrated with Zapier. Has an automation feature. Cons Only 2000 emails per day other than that it's 0.10 per 1000 emails. The monthly prices are expensive compared to several other services like Mailer Lite or Omni Send. Segmentation is lacking. Switched from [MuxEmail](https://www.capterra.com/p/215482/MuxEmail/) They limited my subscribers to 5000 on the plan I was on and requested I upgrade to access unlimited subs. Pros As mentioned before, I like technology, I'm the type of guy that likes to try anything that inspires challenge. Not just a challenge. A challenge that call out the ming-braing to take serious action on the upcoming information. To make ones job easy should be the goal of any business man. Cons Once again, I sued Mailblast enough to say that so far is the worst marketing app I have used so far. To summarize, they kill any good perspectives on such apps. Review Source Lee M. Pros Value for money compared to other ESP's. Great templates and simple functionality for basic features I need. Cons Not a tool to use if you want advanced segmenting options. Identifying and targeting active/inactive/engaged subscribers is possible but very manual via csv downloads. It would be great if this was easier to achieve. Review Source EA Erdem A. It was fun and easy to use and had lots of available features like campaigns and automation. Also helps drive more sales and traffic to our website. Pros Price and customer service is great. I enjoy the user experience of the overall website. Pretty straightforward. Cons Designing Templates can be pretty buggy. Not as many functions as mail chimp. Id love to see more template building features and better integration with shopify.
