Compared to other tools I've used, Submittable makes it easier and faster to create projects, improves our administrative workflow, and creates a better experience for applicants. Pros Submittable allows us to both accept submissions and integrate custom review and scoring and manage reviewers all in the same portal. I love the customization features and the user experience for applicants, reviewers, and administrators. Cons I wish there were a way to set a deadline for reference forms to be received. Pros It's really user-friendly and easy to set up new projects. It's not overly complicated and you can figure out how to use most tools on your own. Cons The messaging component can glitch, as I've sent messages to people who did not get them sent to their inbox, and vice versa. Since I communicate with applicants primarily through messages, it can be frustrating to find that messages were not delivered. However, this doesn't happen often.
