I will definitely use it again for future projects. I've been able to use it without having to Google how to do anything, which is a good sign of an intuitive product. Pros The free tier of Jotform has plenty of features to handle simple projects. The form builder is easy to use and intuitive, I was able to customize it to get what I wanted. It was simple to embed into my existing website (hosted with GitHub Pages) and looks very clean. The Jotform branding, included on the free tier, is only at the bottom of the form and not at all intrusive. Cons The feature to have users take a photo as part of their submission seems to result in really low quality images. But the same component gets much better quality images when they select an existing photo off their device. It's frustrating because having the ability to open the camera on the form is a nice touch. June 5, 2026 5.0 It is a good tool overall, the submission and signature limits do get annoying on the licensing and you can see they use it to make people pay for higher tiers but it does the job well. Pros It has great functionality when it comes to data collection and storage in one place, it has integration with Google Sheets so the data can be stored on our corporate Drive and shared among our staff. Cons They do not have a small team option and you can only buy the enterprise license so without it collaborating on a form is cumbersome because you can only give temporary access to the collaborator, not being able to store on a team drive location and when we need to collaborate at a later date then it has to be shared again otherwise the collaborator cannot access it. The setup was incredibly intuitive for me as the creator; I especially love the conditional logic that hides unnecessary questions, making the forms feel much less daunting for our applicants. We were also able to use our own logo and custom colors to ensure everything looks modern and matches our website perfectly. Between the professional design and the fact that it automatically organizes all our data into a spreadsheet, Jotform has saved us countless hours of manual work. Pros Jotform provided our nonprofit with a professional, custom-branded digital solution that replaced our manual mail-in process and successfully increased our membership. Cons I could not connect our PayPal account because it had to be a PayPal business account. Our account is a nonprofit account, and I couldn't change it, so I wasn't able to integrate payment in the form. Our customers are still having to pay their membership fee in a two-step process as they were before we used Jotform. While I liked the conditional logic and found it fairly simple to set up myself, it would have been better if AI could have helped me out with setting up more of those conditions. I would tell it what I needed it to do, it would tell me the condition was set, but then I would preview the form, the condition did not work, so I had to do them manually. My most frequent use is to create a registration form with both Zoom and Salesforce integrations, so respondents get a Zoom link upon registration and also get added to a Salesforce campaign. It has made event sign-ups so much more efficient! Pros I really love the value you get for even the lower-level subscriptions--it makes it a really cost-effective tool for data collection. I have been really impressed at how the AI assistant can help you fix integrations with other platforms. It is very easy to set up Salesforce and Zoom integrations and to customize forms for every use. Cons I do wish it were a little easier to get customer support from a live person instead of AI for especially tricky questions, and it would be nice if you could have multiple people on one account, even if it were a more expensive account. As I noted earlier...it was easy to create the form I wanted with the options that I wanted. Customers have found the form to be user friendly but have noted that the picture verification/authentication block can sometimes prove challenging for them. Pros I found the platform was easy to use both from a creative standpoint, as well as a submission standpoint. I was able to create a form that captured the customer information I needed without difficulty. Cons I don't like that, upon saiving a new item or editing an existing item, the form returns me to the top of the list. Additionally, I wish the form would allow some customers to select online payment through a payment gateway while giving other customers the option to submit without payment... currently, if I set up the payment gateway, everyone has to pay prior to submission. I don't like that. I've also found that customers who have certain email providers (ie Comcast) do not receive a confirming email. Perhaps it's my perception, and while I know the information from the form can be exported to an EXCEL spreadsheet, I wish there was the capability to have an easy to read printout of orders I need for a particular day. They love how professional the surveys look and appreciate being able to "see behind the curtain" on results as they come in. It's easy to share the forms with clients, too. Pros It's very easy to create detailed surveys with a variety of question types. The logic routing is easy to set up and helps us simplify longer surveys. The report generating option is great for quick summaries and it's easy to share the survey through links and website embeds.
