J'adore utiliser Jotform ! Je m'en sers essentiellement pour l'évaluation de mes formations et workshops, ainsi que pour les formulaires d'inscription. Le pannel d'outils est très, très complet un peu trop même car je n'ai pas besoin de tout et cela a forcément un impact sur le prix, que je trouve un peu cher)

\- facilité de génération de formulaires - gestion des soumissions - exportations vers Excel - possibilité multiples d'intégrations de solutions de paiement

Cons

la difficulté de pouvoir suivre les échanges mail avec les soumissionnaires du formulaire. L'historique des conversations serait un vrai plus !

### "Jotform is one of the best form builders I've ever used!"

Overall, we've been extremely happy with using Jotform. This has allowed us to streamline processes such as collecting incident reports or permission forms from school parents. The amount of stuff we can do, even under the free plan is just incredible.

Pros

One of the reasons that we chose Jotform is simply because of the ability to do a step by step form rather than a long list of fields. You can separate by individual cards, which breaks down filling out a form into a simple step by step process. Also, the sheer amount of tools and add-ons that they have integrated with are super helpful for us when it comes to processing charges and payments or doing things like event registration.

Cons

There's not a lot to complain about here. The free plan only allows you 5 forms and the jot form branding can be pretty obtrusive, but I will say that all of the tools they do allow in the free plan far offset the downsides.

Reason for choosing Jotform

The main reason we chose Jotform is for the card view, which allows people who are filling out a form to focus on one piece of information at a time rather than a list of fields. The other reason we chose Jotform is because of the amount of tools it allows to integrate with. One of the biggest integrations that was helpful was the Square integration, which builds Square products and items right into your form.

### "Awesome tool for small business"

I have been using this since 2019 at several different organisations and I keep recommending it. It is so simple to use and can be applied to various industries. I used it to digitalised customer journey for hotels, create super simple booking system to a free lance yoga teacher and now using it for invoicing purpose for another small business.

Pros

\- Loved the fact that they had the initial free 5 forms (unlimited timeframe) This means I can take my time to set it up and test out in real life to see how it can help my processes. - Love the custom forms and nowadays, it has alot of integration and you can do alot more things- Love the PDF builder. Now I am using this heavily to generate invoice. First I create fields for the invoice input then it automatically populates into PDF format based on my customised settings. Saves so much time!

Cons

\- Sometimes the submission loading is laggy. For example, I submit an answer via form then I change the answer in submission sheet (on backend) but it doesnt save this new update. - Also I have the emailing function turn on after each submission or edit. it is not immediate and can take up to 10 minutes

Reason for choosing Jotform

Initial free trial is super handy. I get to use and customise 5 forms and when use case is proven I was able to show how it can make processes efficient before purchasing the paid version.Most other products lack the customisation and functionality or the free version is only 2 weeks / 1 month

### "Great Flexible tool for all your Form Needs"

I have used Jotform over the years for many different usage cases. Surveys among a larger group of people, intake forms for trainings and evaluations of meetings etc. - its easy and quick to put together a form, its just as easy and quick for your audience/clients etc. to fill the forms out and its equally easy and quick to make use of that data through their exporting functions. For my (not continual and in large volume) usage I only ever needed the free version. There are some additional functions if you pay as well. The only time I had an issue was when a PDF export function did not work as expected. The engineers got back to me within a short time frame - I was impressed.

Pros

Form templates can easily be adjusted or you can start from scratch. Its easy to set up and use, simple for people to enter their data into your form and your export functions are great (Excel, or each respondents answers as PDF). Customer support is reactive, competent and polite. And all of that even though I have ever only used the free version!

Cons

The only downside might be that the individual settings for each form are a bit hidden. Once you know where they are its not hard to find them, but you might be searching the first time around how to ensure some of the settings are set up in a way that you want them to be.

I love the fact that Jotform is not attached to a big name compartmentalizing my business data across different providers in some ways. We already have so much stuff on google and microsoft servers. But more importantly, even the free version of JotForm gives you a lot more flexibility and added functionality when comparing it to MS Forms and Google Forms.

### "Best tool for small shops"

At least every two weeks, I say, "JotForm is a life saver." Honestly, I don't know where our organization would be without it. I know there is much, much more we could be doing with it to help us save time. It's been nothing but perfect for us for a variety of projects and initiatives.

Pros

We have a small staff, and we're always looking for tools that can help us close some skills gaps. Many of us wear many hats, and JotForm makes these pieces of our roles easier. For instance, we don't have a web developer, but with JotForm, we don't need one. The drag and drop editor is simple enough for anyone to use. Some of our favorite features include: the automatic email messages upon submission, widgets and integrations (like payment processors), and the new reporting tools. We also try to maximize the benefits of JotForm by connecting it to our other systems through Zapier. Overall, it's been a lifesaver for a small, non-profit organization like ours.

Cons

We've only scratched the surface of what JotForm can do, but so far, I like everything. Sometimes I do wish there were some sort of text confirmation capability, but I understand how tricky that could be.

### "Populate, Integrate, Automate"

Awesome experience. Great software, great customer service, and great price!

Pros

JotForm had enabled our organization to efficiently gather information, integrate it into our other systems, and automate the process of reporting on all of our data. When combined together, all of those things save us plenty time, which is what I like best about JotForm.

Cons

There isn’t much of anything I dislike about JotForm, except that it needs a lot more widgets to add to its already large collection.

### "Business forms made easy"

We run the forms for all our websites through JotForm. The form responses are collected in a database and we are able to display the results in html tables on our intranet. There is even BI on tap, so questions that have defined responses, such as a multiple choice questions, can be visually represented on web pages as graphs. When it comes to collecting information, JotForm has become an indispensable tool in our arsenal.

Pros

I became a JotForm user when Adobe sunsetted its FormsCentral product and I've never looked back. With a little effort, truly anyone can build an attractive, functional form using JotForm. You don't have to know any html, CSS, JavaScript, etc. That said, you will probably have to know some CSS to get a form to look just the way you want it to if you are adding it to your website. At least that is my experience. While the the form builder does allow for extensive customization, I've found that I've had to add my own CSS to achieve the perfect look I was seeking. Fortunately, JotForm makes tweaking the form look using your own code very easy. JotForm is a very mature and feature-rich platform that contemplates nearly any form need, from conditionals, to calculations, to autoresponders. All field types are available and it's easy to set the properties for each, such as required, character limits, hover text, example text, etc. Using URL parameters, you can pre-populate your form fields, too. You can also use hidden fields to perform calculations or set up honey pots for security. Perhaps the nicest thing about JotForm is all its options are available to every form you build, regardless of which level you buy (or even if the free tier is all you need). What you pay for is the number of forms and the number of submissions. There are literally hundreds of plugins that extend functionality, all included. Customer support is top notch and documentation extensive.

Cons

We purchased a tier that allows up to ten users, however, only the primary user can create forms up to the tier limit--the others users essentially have the limits of the free plan. The only way they can avoid those limits is by moving forms they create to the primary user and sharing the form. I've also occasionally experienced issues with payment.

### "JotForm is the best way to gather information from anyone, for anything."

JotForm makes our team much more efficient. We're able to streamline processes that would normally take our team a lot of time to complete. For example, rather than posting a job application and combing through all the CV's that show up in our inbox, we're able to use JotForm to host the applications and easily view the submissions in one grid. We can also designate which team members should receive certain applications, so that everyone is notified in real time and there's no need to go through and forward messages. It's been so helpful to us, and I can't recommend it enough for automating processes.

Pros

I love how customizable JotForm is. You can get it to do anything you want, with as many custom conditions as you want. We use this for both external-facing forms like job applications, and internal forms like incident reports and expense reports. I love that you can not only receive an email for every completed form, but also easily download a PDF of each one or download a spreadsheet summary of all responses to date. Or better yet, you can have JotForm deposit all of that straight to Google Drive for you. The form features are very robust, and I'm constantly taking advantage of new ones. For example, we have a very long form that users can choose to save before they submit it. I've set it up so that they get an email reminding them to go back and complete the form later. I also use the e-signature feature, the "upload file" feature, and I'm constantly setting up show/hide features. As in, if someone answers "Yes" to question 5, hide questions 6-9. JotForm has added a cool new feature to make their email notifications dynamic, so that only questions that are answered are included in the auto response. It's wonderful!

Cons

I wish JotForm did a better job with compiling survey data. The feature to graph your results is buggy and looks strange. I was able to easily download my survey responses and create my own graphs in Excel, but I don't think JotForm would be my software of choice for another large survey (we've only done one so far). I also wish JotForm offered the option to have a default email formatting style. As it is now, I have to go in manually to each email template on each form and add our logo and other formatting.

### "Great Solution"

I’ve been using JotForm since November 2016 till now. It is really a great solution especially for people who has no coding experience. The ongoing enhancements introduced by JotForm since I started using it made it further useful to the extent that you may not need to use any other product to complete your task.I used it to gather data, ranging from simple to bit complicated surveys, as well as a standalone application that works perfectly to serve my purpose.Due to the nature of my projects, I sometime require to use multi-lingual forms, one of which is Arabic. To be honest, most of available products despite their effectiveness in English or other languages, they do fail when used for Arabic interface, which is a right-to-left language. This does not apply to JotForm, which almost shows the same performance even for Arabic language. Yes, some elements may sometimes do not support translation, however, some other workarounds using other elements do solve the problem, like using text elements, like labels for example, to overcome this minor issue.Generally, I would always recommend using JotForm, which is from my point of view a completely different experience.

Pros

It is a great, easy to use, reliable solution that requires no coding experience or prior knowledge to use. Creating and managing surveys and order forms is extremely easy and fast.

Cons

One of the recent enhancements introduced by JotForm is the signed documents. I believe, this module is not yet matured, as one can face some difficulty to delete unnecessary documents after submission, like testing and sample submissions for example. Yes, you may delete them at the end of the day, but by visiting some other sections of the application. I personally wasn’t able to realized this until I received a response from the support team. This needs to be considered by the team.Also, enabling the translation of some parts of the product will be useful. For example, product specifications for ecommerce elements (item listing).

I have been very pleased with Jotform overall. I was able to get a 20% cut in cost by purchasing an annual plan. I do not recommend this product if one can get needs met by Google Forms. However, for those of us that need a HIPAA-compliant form creator, Jotform does the job well. If you choose to use Jotform, do not expect quick responses to any problems you might have. Although they have a good supply of "help articles," their menu for finding them need considerable improvement.

Pros

I like the ease of designing a new form.

Cons

Jotform does not have live support. Waiting hours for a reply can be inconvenient and interrupt the flow of designing a form, and the usual response requests a screenshot of the issue one is having. This requires a second round of interactions that could be avoided if they had live chat or synchronous phone service.

Pros

I really appreciate Jotform for its simplicity. I mean, the interface is so straightforward, and I can just drag and drop stuff to create my forms. It's seriously a time-saver compared to other form builders out there. Plus, the customization options are off the charts – I can make my forms look exactly how I want them to. And don't even get me started on the integrations – being able to hook up Jotform with my other tools is a game-changer. Oh, and their customer support rocks. Anytime I've had a question or run into an issue, they've been super quick to help out. Long story short, Jotform has made my data collection game strong.

Cons

One thing I found a bit frustrating about Jotform is that in the free plan, there are limits on the number of form submissions and storage space. It can be a bit of a bummer if you have a lot of responses or need to store a bunch of files. And every now and then, I've run into some glitches or bugs while using the platform, which can be a tad annoying. Plus, there's a bit of a learning curve with some of the more advanced features, so it took me a little while to get the hang of things. Oh, and the pricing can be a bit confusing at times – I wish it was a bit more straightforward. But hey, no software is perfect, right? Overall, despite these minor drawbacks, Jotform is still a solid choice for creating forms and collecting data.

### "Super Helpful for My Web Design Clients"

It makes it easy to get answers to complex questions from my clients. They feel relieved that they don't have to answer a plethora of questions over the phone where they aren't really able to sit down and research how they want to answer. A lot of web design hinges on good business planning, so I appreciate that I can offer my clients a more convenient way to prep for their website build.

Pros

I primarily use Jotform for a client questionnaire I send my web design clients, and it is super helpful. Rather than expecting them to know the answers to all kinds of questions about their branding, desired functionality, etc., I'm able to send them a form that covers all the bases and allows room for extra topics I didn't cover at the end. The form has a great drag-and-drop UI, with options to make radio buttons, dropdowns, text areas, etc., and you can disable irrelevant questions before you send it to a client while not losing that question on your It's easy to duplicate forms, limit forms to only certain users, review old forms that clients filled out, etc. And it's been free for me (I only send a few a month, since web design is my side hustle). I haven't needed to reach out to support, so I can't comment on that front, but the fact that I haven't needed support speaks volumes to the functionality and reliability of Jotform.

Cons

Similar to Mailchimp, I wish there was the ability to see who has opened the email once you've sent the form. I've sent forms to clients before who seemed totally on board, but they never filled out the form and I wasn't sure if it was even received and ignored, or maybe the followed the link but didn't fill the form out. I also wish there was a way to view the client's answers in (somewhat) real-time, so that if they fill in one question, I can see that, instead of having to wait for the entire form to be submitted.

Hundreds of customer web leads submitted since the start of the year, 2022, all done utilizing Jotform. Without Jotform I'd have to rely on customers emailing requests.

Pros

I use it from lead generation to customer feedback. So much better than developing a system to receive info on my own.

Cons

Tried creating a Salesforce intergration to edit new opportunities. I could only get it to create new but not edit existing.

In-house development of the code that would of been needed to create a customer request input form.

### "Great for quick, basic forms for novices and professionals"

Right now, I am using a basic order form with Jotform which serves my purpose for now, but I will look for a more robust and customizable option in future with better payment integration.

Pros

It is easy to use, design and customize forms for any purpose. Can be integrated with almost any third-party app for easy automation, workflows and follow-up.It is great if you are a beginner setting up forms and using the templates is easy and straightforward. I love that you can send invoices straight to respondents after they have submitted orders.

Cons

Designs or themes are basic. Although you can customize it, it is still basic. I would like integration with more payment gateways, especially international solutions that are not Paypal and Stripe.

### "Premium "Features" are often Limitations"

Wanted to love it, but it became useless with the limited HIPAA compliant functionality. It should not be sold as a premium feature.

Pros

The form builder and data mapping capabilities were great but it turned out to be a waste of time when I realized how the premium feature of HIPAA compliance actually reduced the functionality below the entry level.

Cons

The pricing structure is very deceiving and a HIPAA compliant account comes with a LOT of limitations at a premium account level. Many of the features even in the lower tiers are no longer accessible. It is not possible to use this product in a professional healthcare setting without patients running into Jotform branding.

### "Love JotForm"

It's been great. It streamlines so much of my business. It's become a vital part of my processes and workflows.

Pros

I like the ease of use and the conditional formatting. I love the API features and the fact it interconnects with the other products that make my business work.

Cons

That I can't have an additional user (one other one) unless I get five other users. I don't love the fact that the data isn't stored in Australia or that I don't have the option of doing that. I hate the fact they upsell HIPAA Compliance to health practitioners outside of the US as HIPAA isn't designed for anyone outside of the US.

### "A great form builder"

We use Jotforms across the college for submissions from partnering departments for design and web update requests. This allows us to keep all the information in one place rather than rely on emails. Plus, we have a historical record of all the requests in a given year.

Pros

Jotforms is a simple way to create forms to obtain information and has powerful features for advanced form building. The form builder is drag and drop and provides plenty of options for customization. There is a free version with plenty of features and a cost-effective paid subscription that unlocks plenty of helpful features.

Cons

The UX on the submission side is not great. When navigating to the forms to review submissions, I oftentimes have to think twice about where to find them.

### "Jotform: The Pros and Cons of a Form Building software"

I've been using Jotform as a user for a while, and overall, I'm impressed with its features. I appreciate the wide variety of templates offered for various forms types and how simple it is for me to use the user-friendly interface. Another benefit is the ability to create forms that are tailored to my particular requirements thanks to the feature of customizable fields. The form data collection and management feature that allows for integration with other programs and platforms is also very helpful. There are some restrictions, though, that I have come across. There aren't many design options, and I'd like to see more sophisticated design capabilities. The size and storage of uploaded files, the number of forms, and the number of responses are all restricted in the free version. I would like to see more options because there aren't many integrations available. I would like to have more help and resources available because the customer support is also lacking. Additionally, the free version's analytics, conditional logic, calculation, and form automation features are restricted. Jotform is a fantastic piece of software all around, but there are some restrictions, especially with the free version.

Pros

Since I've been using Jotform for a while, I must admit that I'm impressed with its abilities. This software's user-friendly interface is among the features I appreciate the most. I can easily create and modify forms to meet my unique needs thanks to the drag-and-drop feature. It's also simple for me to get started because Jotform provides a large selection of templates for various form types, including contact forms, surveys, and registration forms. The ability to create forms that are tailored to my particular requirements is made possible by Jotform's customizable fields feature, which includes text fields, radio buttons, checkboxes, and more. I can easily collect and manage form data thanks to the integration feature, which works with a variety of other tools and platforms like Google Drive, Salesforce, and Mailchimp. Having a form that automatically adjusts to the size of the device it is being viewed on is another benefit of Jotform's responsive design feature. I can now accept payments from clients using the forms thanks to the payment integration feature, which is a wonderful addition. Overall, I have found JotForm easy to use and am still learning much of what is available. Their biggest downfall so far is their customer services, they do respond but mainly with generic answers that really do not help with specific enquiries.

Pros

There is a wide range is fields available which makes forms highly customizable. The form builder interface is easy to use. The final form is clean and well presented, even with the default overlay. There are many integrations to choose from.

Cons

The price is quite high especially as there are alternatives available that are much cheaper. Support is very sparse and a little erratic with questions being answered is a very generic way. Integrations are not very straightforward to set up.

### "Jotform - lots of functionality, too bad their customer service can't help you!"

Building webforms or transferring pdf forms to webforms is very simple. The summary tables are powerful and the form widgets are vast. Digital signatures are easy to secure.

Pros

Jotform is so easy to setup if you are a beginner. No experience necessary in coding, just simply pick from a template, edit your branding and away you go! From novice to expert, there are lots of coding features and widgets in their form builders and it connects to mainstream online payment processers very easily.

Cons

There is ZERO customer service! There is no live chat feature, no email correspondence and no phone line. If you have an issue you submit a ticket that ends up in a long queue and more often then not a day later you'll get a response that asks for information that was clearly stated in your ticket or a response that says 'they don't know' and then they close the ticket. If you are not comfortable troubleshooting technical issues yourself, more along to another software. The current Jotform support requests STINKS!

### "Jotform is a great form platform."

Pros

I like the different ways the a form in Jotform can be embedded on other sites. Different CMS have specific scripts and Jotform scripts for embedding forms make it easy to adjust as needed.

Cons

I would like the quiz feature to be a bit more prominent and useful. Additionally, I'd like to be able to use analytics to track features on the form.

### "Jotform simplifies everything"

Customer support is generally very good. It sometimes depends on the person answering, and I sometimes get different answers from different people. But, they get back to me quickly and with good information. It's a complex program, does what I need, and help is available when things go wrong.

Pros

I run a scholarship program using JotForm. We have a long application that is simple for students to complete. I share the results with 60 scholarship providers. Each one receives a different set of applications. All of this is simple to do.

Cons

When creating reports, fields appear in the order they were created, not the order they are listed on the application. This means it takes more time to find the fields I want to include.
