We love the offline functionality because we primarily use Jotform at events where there can be poor internet service but it is important we capture people's information. It can be a bit scary to use the offline functionality but it has always worked perfectly. Cons The only downside is we have occasionally found that there are delays on the sender's end when they complete the form. It has only occurred once but it created a significant issue at an event. October 13, 2017 5.0 Setting up advanced multi-page forms for clients is super easy. Pros I love how many power features are available. Their pricing is super competitive as well. Styling forms is much easier than competitors. The ability to group forms into folders makes it really easy to find the form you're looking for. Cons Some of the UI feels a bit clunky. Many of the integrations don't include much documentation, so it can be "trial and error" to figure some things out. Why reinvent the wheel? Pros Creating forms from scratch can be tedious, especially when there are several tasks that need to occur after the submission. JotForm is one of my favorite automation tools. It's flexible, it has a growing library of widgets, and it integrates with third-party software, allowing me to skate through my workday. Cons I'd say what I like least is the CSS customization, it's a bit glitchy. I end up editing the CSS in the browser then pasting it in. Archivist Government Administration Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Easy to Learn" March 5, 2019 4.0 Pros I had been searching for a long time for a software for my small non profit organization so that we could collect member data and process payments in an easy and dynamic manner. We had struggled with other form software in the past because many do not nest questions and are not easy to input directly into email newsletters and/or websites. Jotform solved all of these questions. The software allows you to ask questions whose yes or no answer will then lead to other very specific questions. It also integrates payment methods and price points directly into the form. While it takes some testing, it's very easy to set up and share with coworkers before the form goes live. Jotform also has the option to collect all responses into a dynamic Google spreadsheet, so that you can see real life responses out of the software. Cons The price point is a little high if you are planning on processing a large numbers of payments through Jotform, so that makes it inaccessible for year round use for many small non profits. Cons The signature part isn't that good their are a couple of options for the signature but they're mostly free trials. October 19, 2021 5.0 We starting using jotforms during COVID to minimize clients in our lobby. We have forms that need to be filled out prior to surgery, drop offs, grooming and boarding. We had forms on our website but we could not capture a signature with them which is extremely important in our line of business. With JotForms, I was able to reproduce our old online forms, customize them better depending on what the patient was coming in for AND capture the clients signature for legal reasons. Jotforms is inexpensive compared to the other options and we have had great success with them. IT IS SO WORTH IT!!!!! Pros I LOVE the customization of the forms, all the available options when setting up the forms and the cost of services. Cons I cannot think of any cons with JotForms. Support is good about helping with css and other formatting. But, we report bugs and flaws and they deny, deny, deny and there is no public roadmap or reasonable attention to fixing these things. Pros I can build multi-lingual forms and embed them on client websites. Lots of options like conditional logic and payment widgets. Cons A lot of user experience flaws and/or bad decisions by developers. Widgets and apps are overly simplified and full of bugs (or user experience flaws). Then I send them a well prepared survey with Jotform enabled to get feedback about how pleasant was the experience visiting my website. Jotform instantly sends back the results after a customer submit it and notify by email. Everything like conditional logic and checkpoints are pluspoints. Cons I have a shopify enabled website which I always need to get feedback from the visitors. I am not able to integrate a jotform with this website which I want to popup immediately after a customer makes a purchase. I have asked the support team about this and they said there is no such advanced feature available. Owner Design Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Great form builder however, they keep increasing their pricing" October 14, 2022 4.0 I used JotForm for multiple fundraisers throughout the year, so I wasn't using them monthly and that is why I only paid their monthly plan and only needed to pay for two months or so each time. The price has increased so much that I am taking money away from the fundraiser now and I had to find another option this year, which I did and I am glad. Pros I really liked the functionality and the implementation with Stripe for payments. It was easy to create forms and customize them to my liking. Then embedding them onto specific websites so people could complete the forms. Cons The price keeps increasing and I know they are constantly improving and adding features but when I don't need the features and I want to just use a simple form builder, it it not cool that I have to pay more for the same thing as the previous year.
