JotForm filled that need for us. But in the end the sacrifices you need to make with custom integrations means we will be moving away from it. Pros Able to get started quickly with custom forms. Easy to embed on most any page and within a CMS. Many options will get most users what they need. Cons Difficult to make complex forms. Custom payment isn't really supported. Pros JotForm is not only extremely easy to use, it is also my companies top lead producer. The forms are easy to create and to make specific for your companies needs. I created specific JotForms for different pages on my companies website and it was a game changer. I receive 5-10 leads each month from the JotForms and it is probably a 75% conversion rate at that point. I know that sounds like an insanely high conversion rate but it is true. Cons There isn't much a dislike about JotForm but I guess my only complaint is that it can be hard to figure out at first. It could be a bit more user friendly. My client is happy because the design looks great. Pros It's super easy to create forms. It's decent enough to interface with your backend logic processor. And it has 3rd-party support for form elements and integrations (e.g. Airtable) Cons You have to jump through a lot of hoops to make things like normalized field values work. Airtable integration is pretty useless if you need this feature, as you have to write your own code that does the interfacing with Airtable if you want to work with normalized field values. I use the form builder to create my order inquiry form for my cake business. Depending on if it is a wedding or birthday order someone is inquiring about, I need to ask different questions. Jotform allows me to customize things way more than other free software I've used before. Cons I wish the reports could be done on archived responses. Once I've responded to an inquiry I want to move it to archives, but then it would be excluded from any reports I run in the future to analyze past inquiries. I've gotten around this by just starring the ones I'm finished with but it's slightly annoying. Pros I love that there are so many templates available and that can be adjusted. I don't have to build a form from scratch especially those that require calculation/calculated fields- this all done for me. Cons Because I'm on the free plan, I am limited to about 5 forms. I remember deleting a form, thinking that I could create another one and I wasn't able to. It's like once there's a record that x number of forms were created, it is capped there. Reason for choosing Jotform I chose JotForm because I was looking for an inexpensive or free platform where I could not list my products. JotForm allowed to do this with a free a template (a mini-ecommerce store) where not only my products and prices were listed, but also my Paypal account to be connected to receive payments. I have some web design experience so I could have probably created the form from scratch, but when I found out about JotForm I knew it would be the perfect tool since it would save me a lot of time and in addition to it being free it also had the option to save the form data to a Google Sheets file and then easily share it with my co-workers. Pros What I like most about JotForm is how easy it is to create and share an online form. Someone with no web design experience could easily create a form, and for those who have some web design experience JotForm offers some advanced features that allow you to take your forms to the next level. Cons There's not much to dislike about JotForm but my one complaint would be that the user interface seems a little clunky at first. Once you figure out where all of the features and functions are located it becomes much easier to navigate. Pros We use Jotform for several different reasons in our medical practice. We have used it for employee satisfaction surveys in order to provide our employees with a confidential voice. We have also used it when ordering branded t-shirts to allow staff to select from many different options and colors as far as t-shirts Cons The only issue I have ever encountered was when trying to populate calculations based on certain answers.
