So far we have been VERY impressed by the chat capabilities of the AI agent as well as it's processing/retention/analysis of the information provided on our website as well as what it learns with each conversation and our feedback. With its free version, Jotform mainly focuses only on data collection, and doesn't really offer what you would expect for a rewards systems. But it does allow you to do just over the bare minimum as an employer because I feel that it is important to always recognize those who are working hard for you. But for organization and prioritizing real time recognition with tangible rewards and actual live gaming features that make things fun and keep your employees engaged I would recommend another product. Pros That it has custom forms that fit and align with your company as opposed to broad templates, which allow you to design and personalize the recognition. You can also create nomination and voting ballots and there is also a way to make an employee of month which makes your employees always strive to be the best. And for smaller companies there is also a free program. Cons There is no built in rewards programs gaming features like some of the other programs, it mainly focuses on data collection and work flow only. Our first form was very simple but now we have two more complex forms that save our team many hours of time. It was a great investment! Pros It is a very robust website for capturing data. We were easily able to set up the forms based on a PDF we had and then have Jotforms complete the PDF. For small simple forms it is very easy. Cons For complex forms, it can be a lot of work. For one of the forms we had seven PDFs that needed to be combined together and we did not want the person to have to rekey repetitive data (like name). It wasn't hard but tedious. Pros It is one of the easiest, most user-friendly, valuable business related platforms I’ve ever tried. I never experienced a glitch nor did any of my clients. It’s always been a seamless and fast process on mine and the customers end. I was also impressed by how easy it was to keep my clients electronic waivers secured & organized. It was also great to be able to adjust/edit waivers as need be. Cons I truly cannot recall, disliking any particular aspect of jot form. Maybe in a dreamworld after a waiver is signed, It would automatically print in my office, since I am partial to analog and paper copies as well as digital ones but that is not a fault or con of Jotform, merely a personal preference! Pros The value of this software is absolutely incredible. I can set up an entire form in lieu of a POS system, all for free! It's highly functional and easy to embed onto my website. I appreciate its functionality and tools; I am able to customize even the design of the form. Cons I do wish it were a bit easier to customize photo sizes and more easily edit text descriptions. It'd be great to have a "copy and paste" feature for products, as well, making it quicker to add products of the same category. COO Hospitality Used the software for: 2+ years ### "decent platform for forms and data collection" April 2, 2025 4.0 what it does, it does well and as a result we continue to use it ... but what it does not do well drives me crazy enough that I'm always looking for the alternative and would not hesitate to jump ship when I find it. Pros Great interface and flexibility for design; I like how easy it integrates with other apps ... I like the separation between tables of data and the forms themselves Cons a few limitations on some really obvious stuff: calculations are wonky, it's insane that you can't have a currency field, things that are so incredibly basic on every other platform. But my BIGGEST complain is the one-user format ... FFS let me create 2-3 users and pay a nominal fee for each; the idea that I have to go from $20/mo to $1200/mo just to add a second user is beyond ridiculous Switched from [Airtable](https://www.capterra.com/p/146652/Airtable/) just for the form management, this did better than Airtable ... but we still use Airtable for the content management Review Source Response from Jotform April 8, 2025 Hi Mark, Thanks for your feedback. We really appreciate it. For the currency field, use the Short Text field with Currency validation. You can also format numbers into currency format using the Form Calculation widget, then use the Comma Separate function. Or try the Masked Input widget for auto-formatting. Check this out: https://www.jotform.com/widgets/masked-input. About multiple users, unfortunately, this is currently available with Enterprise. I understand that you don't prefer Enterprise, so I would recommend the collaboration feature to have multiple users work with your form.
