We can make a different form for each of the different needs we may have and gather the information in an easy to use format not just for our staff- but for the applicants. We are able to use the forms to gather information on our staff and leaders, create sign ups for events and screen applicants easliy with one program. Pros I love how easy it is to create a form that has personality- I like changing themes and colors and making a splash- not just asking for information. I used the free version and it was so complete and moldable to my needs- that I never had to upgrade. The program is incredibly simple to use and their customer support is very responsive. Cons The functionality of the program is sometimes limited - some features you would expect to be present are not possible with the current capabilities. August 13, 2018 5.0 Pros Jotform is relatively straight forward to use, and has some great user-friendly features to get you going on a hosted form. For those that don't have the option or choose not to host forms on their own server, it's a perfect option. It does give the ability to really extend it out with some custom abilities which is good for more complex forms. I've been happy with it every time I've used it. Cons Don't really have a con, I just don't use it as often as I do as I prefer to host my own forms....but for those times when there's no possibility of hosting your own, Jotform is an excellent solution that I would highly recommend. While there is room for improvement, it has everything we need to barrel full steam ahead with our rollout. Pros JotForm makes it quick and simple to create forms for our clients to fill in. It's much easier than asking them to fill out an email attachment, or trust that they provide us the necessary details in an email. Cons The customization options are great, but we're still not able to reliably integrate it with our PSA software. I wish we could change the SMTP From address, or provide other metadata for the PSA to act upon the emailed result and assign it to the correct team. We also use it as a pop up form on a landing page to obtain email subscribers. As a small business free forms like these can't be beat. It saves time and streamlines many processes and because it is easy to integrate with all our other programs it connects customers, employees and activities we do on a daily basis. Pros totally customizable forms, versatile and easy to set up, design and change, the pricing is really reasonable for how many forms/submissions you get per price level, it's integrable with platforms like Mailchimp, it has custom CSS so you can tailor it to your website or landing page. Cons The form design editor is really good but if you need fully custom form designs you will have to do it through CSS code because there are limits to the design editor. I wish there was a way to have a display image change when a "single choice" bubble selection was chosen. But it ended up being easy to do, to just click around and discover. So overall I found JotForm to be pleasant to use, and it has been capable of every function that I've needed so far. Pros I like that it has a very clean and modern look, that there are several functionalities within the form as well as its delivery, notifications, and conditions. I feel like every time I use it I unearth something new! But it's never confusing or too much, and then it's always easy for users to fill out. I've never encountered anyone having issues figuring out its functionality on the front end. Cons I do think the default provided themes could use an update / occasional swap-out. I get that we're using the level/tier of membership that we are, which might be a lower tier. But it would be nice to expand upon those options or just reassess now and then. But otherwise no qualms. July 8, 2019 5.0 Pros We host an annual conference, and it has become increasingly difficult to obtain our speakers' presentations and marketing materials due to the large file sizes. JotForm not only simplified the process for our speakers by allowing them to upload their files into our Dropbox folder (with no size restrictions), but it allowed us to make this possible with a customizable form that can be updated at any time simply by logging in and saving the changes to make them live. Cons Some of the template editing I did didn't work/wasn't reflected in the form, but I'm notoriously VERY picky, so the average user (who doesn't look at every possible customization option) shouldn't have an issue. :) Reason for choosing Jotform There's a free option, it 100% works, and I got more than I expected to with the free version! December 21, 2020 5.0 JotForm has replaced a lot of communication that was previously happening over email. Having a set form with dedicated recipients has streamlined many processes and increased the integrity of the data that we are getting. Also the ability to see consolidated submission information is great for reviewing past information. Pros JotForm is very easy to configure and the pricing scale allows you to get the service that you need at a price that is affordable. We use JotForm for all internal forms and are able to embed them directly into our intranet for a seamless user experience. Cons For the most part the built in functionality meets any and all needs that we have for internal forms. There are time however when we are looking for functionality that is a bit for conditional. There limits to what logic you can build into a form, but for the price that we're paying, we're happy with the product that we receive.
