They're still my top choice as a telehealth counselor, between the security they provide, their cost, and the sheer quality of their product. Pros Doxy.me is an AMAZING product with features that put it at the front of the field. I'm able to create a stable link for patient use, preview my camera/mic/sound, see when patients log in for session, and start session, all from one screen. They've recently implemented options for billing and payments, as well. With various plans doxy.me creates amazing options for the price, and their customer service is responsive and helpful if you encounter any bugs. If you've ever used any other telehealth video platform there's almost no learning curve transitioning to doxy.me. Cons It would be helpful if there were an automated email of some sort sent to providers who use doxy when they're down, or expect to be down. I recommend having a stable second option you can quickly send patients as needed. Doxy isn't down often, but when it is, it's usually a surprise. I began searching for HIPAA comliant formats that were easy to be utilized by the patients, gave them the link in an email or text. Doxy.me hit all the parameters I was looking for. Pros I like Doxy.Me for its simplicity for my patients. There is no learning curve either for clinicians or patients. Cons The only con is the cost of paid subscription, however it's cheaper than most. However, I did use the Clinic version for several months while I was in private practice. The folks who started out with my organization in the beginning during the pandemic were incredibly caring and attentive. That relationship has continued to this day. Pros This product is easy to use and within 2 weeks I was able to learn how to use it myself and create content to educate my entire health center and get us up and attending to patients during the pandemic. Cons At first when the camera or microphone didn't work, I had no idea why and had to learn how to troubleshoot things like that, but this is part of all platforms. I believe that having to have an account and the meeting number nonsense gets in the way of things. Pros The ease of use for both myself and clients. I use doxy not only for telehealth appointments but it's what I use exclusively for consultations with potential new clients. I use the tier that has no charge and it's been more than enough for my needs. Cons I can't think of anything that I would indicate that I don't like. There's nothing that I've had happen in using doxy that was negative. Back in 2020-2021 there were occasionally connection problems, but I did not attribute that to doxy's service.
