So simple to use - no links needing to be sent (unless you want to). No app for client to download - can easily use on any device. Pros I love that there is no app to download first. Clients can access my waiting room from any device they want and it can be on the fly. I am now only using Doxy when clients can't meet in person so being able to use any device they have on hand is extremely helpful on their end. Cons There is nothing about Doxy that I have not liked. The virtual waiting room is a great feature to allow clinician to personalize the space to invite clients into the virtual waiting room. Cons It would be great if doxy works on more internet browsers such as Safari. Psychotherapist Mental Health Care Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Easy to use, great price" April 1, 2020 5.0 Great experience, especially when I needed to get up and running with telehealth during the COVID -19 shutdown. Pros I upgraded from the free version to the Pro version. It is so convenient that I have the option to take payments on this platform. The video quality is reliable and the platform is easy to use for me and my clients. I appreciate that the option to have a BAA is available in the free version, and upgrade only costs me $29/mo. The other option in my field wants to charge $200/mo for a healthcare BAA. I value HIPAA compliance for my clients. Cons I wish I had the option to change / customize my background. I also wish I could send a link ahead of time through the app, like a scheduler or Calendar. We are also able to use this solution for Provider coverage between our clinic locations. Pros Easy integration, cost-effective, non-profit discount, excellent support. The support team conducted virtual training sessions for our Providers....excellent! Cons I would like patients to be able to complete all health history via a virtual intake form on Doxy's platform. I thought Doxy was developing this feature, but I haven't seen anything yet. This is critical for telehealth services for new patients. Reason for choosing Doxy.me Cost-effective and user-friendly. It usually runs very smoothly and is easy to reset if issues arise. Quite reliable. My clients are mostly very satisfied. Cons At times there's a glitch, but that's probably often due to local internet issues. I have tried using the instructions in help, and they don't solve the problem. I get to the last step, and see a black screen with a backwards logo. The drop down menu doesn't have an option to describe that, and it dumps me out of help. I have tried restarting and resetting the allow camera access, to no avail. It's hard to find how to get help from a person. The video quality has always been very poor. I use Secure Video in my practice and the video is so much clearer and a bit of a wider angle, really like night and day. Review Source BC Beatrice C. Setting up the account was very easy. I practiced using it before sending links out to my clients and found it very user friendly. My clients are able to use the same link to log in each week with no problems. Cons When clients use a phone and get text messages or calls, the connection tends to break down. Doxy.me has never failed me and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable conferencing program. Pros Doxy is a software that I have been using when attending some of my private medical appointments. It is easy to set up - about 1 minute of downloading the app, depending on your Internet - and very intuitive to use. I like setting up the appointments in my Apple calendar and it has never failed me to remind me about them. The simplicity of the software from the user's perspective is the biggest advantage. Cons Normally we do not have a good connection. We get connected, and lose connection. Cons You do have to make sure your computer is in order. It won’t connect if you haven’t prepared it to. But there is a super helpful guide and tools to help you do so. It'/s solved a lot of issues for my meetings with clients and staff as an admin! Pros This product was much more reasonable for the cost than others have been. We love the customizable waiting room feature because we can add photos from our ranch. I have had very few connectivity issues and I love that there's a waiting room that clients can log into anytime and must wait there until the therapist lets them in. The link is the same always, which always makes things so much easier for client use. Cons Other staff on our team have had issues with connectivity and client use, but this isn't something I've had personal issues with.
