It's the first telehealth platform I started with, so I'm a bit biased in that regard. Having said that, however, whenever I have needed answers to questions, or had any problems with connectivity, etc., the customer support is outstanding, timely responsivieness, and accurate. I started out using it for free, but now I pay for the added features that are worth it. Pros It is HIPAA compliant and secure end to end. It's very easy to use and has a lot of features. It's hard to say what I like most because all the features are approprite and easy to use. I guess ease of use is the main thing, and it's not expensive. Cons Well, a lot has changed and new functionality has been added. I can see groups of people at once now, I can upload files, and a whole lot of other features I may or may not use, but I'm glad they're there. Review Source BC Barbara C. My clients actually feel more secure when I connect with them via Doxy. Pros I like that Doxy.me is reliable, private and secure, and easy to use. It's HIPPA compliant. Doxy.me is a great value for the price! Customer support is very helpful! Cons Nothing I can think of right now. Over time the ease of use has become better and better. Support videos have been helpful in this regard. Almost every client has found it super-easy to use. Pros Secure, reliable and easy for patients to use, especially as the link is unique to the practitioner so always the same. Almost always good transmission of both audio and video. Cons The name has less than ideal connotations in some cultural groups. Other than that, I have no complaints. Review Source CM Claudia M. Pros It is a HIPAA compliant telahealth site and it used to be very reliable. Cons The product quality has declined in the past few months. The past 2-3 weeks it's been even worse. Pros I love this free HIPAA compliant video tool to use with my psychotherapy clients. The free version allows me unlimited 60 min sessions! It's wonderful. Cons The only issue is very minor. Intuitive to use for me and clients. Pros Free version - allows me to continue to work with the most vulnerable of people, knowing it's secure, HIPAA compliant (although not a thing in the UK, it speaks to the security) and has been more reliable than the paid version of another well-known platform. Thank you doxy - please continue to help us really small helpers who are helping those who can't afford any extra costs. Cons Sometimes connection is dodgy - postponement of appojntments has been necessary. Switched from [Zoom Workplace](https://www.capterra.com/p/144037/Zoom-Video-Conferencing/) because zoom started charging for a very poor service - why would I pay for a service that didn't meet any of my or my clients needs by being of such poor quality that calls failed regularly and sound was crackly and indistinct. I have gotten thank yous from my interns who use it and they all like it a great deal. Pros I can manage my waiting room, send messages, the video is always stable. It's so easy to use. Also, sharing the Doxy link is super easy and I have options about how to share it and I can make the link unique or use the same one each time. Thank you so much! Pros as long as the patient has adequate internet, this platform is HIPAA compliant and confidential. Simple and functional, which is really all I want from any type of software! Pros I've been using Doxy.me since the beginning of the pandemic. I love that I can send patients a link by text or email, and they can use it without downloading any type of app. Its seamless, HIPAA compliant, works every time, and free! Seems almost too good to be true! I'm very appreciative, its been a huge asset to my mental health clinic and private practice. Cons I use the free version, that doesn't allow me to bring in more than one patient at at time, or share my screen. I'm almost certain the paid version allows it, though. My clients connect easily. Cons It would be nice if clients were able not to get our telehealth calls briefly interrupted by their phone calls. when we lose audio/visual for about 15-20 seconds, even when they do not answer the call. I get great service, very few call issues (which are generally an internet issue and NOT a Doxy issue), and for the price I get a TON of great tools and abilities. Pros I love everything about Doxy. The price, the ease of use, the ability to communicate with patients en mass via waiting room announcements, and the ability for my patients to come into the waiting room for links to coping skills and important research documents. I can collect payments right through Doxy via Stripe, collect patient feedback via Dokbot, share information via screen share, and file transfer. Doxy provides analytics and meeting histories, and connects you will tools like therapeutic exercises with reminders, group calls, and electronic teleconsent with signatures. Cons Honestly, there's nothing I "like least". I would say the one thing I would consider an improvement would be to add a reminder sound (ding!), which can be set for each call individually (or not at all) by the provider, to remind both patient and provider that it's time to "wrap it up." And while this would be a wonderful addition, I definitely don't consider it a deal breaker. They click on the secure link that I provide to them. Our connection is reliable unless one of us has WIFI issues (which is not Doxy's fault).
