Physician Medical Practice Used the software for: 2+ years ### "7 Yrs a Doxy Doc & it's only gotten Better!!" June 22, 2025 5.0 I'm a physician licensed in 3 states, and TeleMedicine is a must!! I can get on Doxy as easy on my phone on the road as I can on my laptop. It occasionally loses video if I have minimal service bars, but often audio continues till signal is better to regain video. Pros 1 - Best FREE option on the market I know of that is secure & dependable. I use it to see pts daily, and have for several years now. They have improved & fixed sooo many - dare I say all? (cuz I haven't seen any this year) of the Covid era glitchs I used to encounter. I now see pts daily - using the FREE version - some pts have trouble figuring out how to navigate the waiting room ...granted mostly technically challenged & have to be literally walked thru it by someone that understands basic phone internet ... but once on, it's a piece of cake. Cons I guess I'll have to get the paid version so I can update the waiting room message, as it's several years outdated & I see NO way to update it with the FREE version??? Psychotherapist Mental Health Care Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Highly Recommend Doxy.me for Telehealth" July 1, 2025 5.0 I've been using Doxy.me for probably 15 years. It's the first telehealth platform I started with, so I'm a bit biased in that regard. Having said that, however, whenever I have needed answers to questions, or had any problems with connectivity, etc., the customer support is outstanding, timely responsivieness, and accurate. I started out using it for free, but now I pay for the added features that are worth it. Pros It is HIPAA compliant and secure end to end. It's very easy to use and has a lot of features. It's hard to say what I like most because all the features are approprite and easy to use. I guess ease of use is the main thing, and it's not expensive. Cons Well, a lot has changed and new functionality has been added. I can see groups of people at once now, I can upload files, and a whole lot of other features I may or may not use, but I'm glad they're there. Review Source BC Barbara C. My clients actually feel more secure when I connect with them via Doxy. Pros I like that Doxy.me is reliable, private and secure, and easy to use. It's HIPPA compliant. Doxy.me is a great value for the price! Customer support is very helpful! Cons Nothing I can think of right now. Over time the ease of use has become better and better. Support videos have been helpful in this regard. Almost every client has found it super-easy to use. Pros Secure, reliable and easy for patients to use, especially as the link is unique to the practitioner so always the same. Pros I like how straight forward and easy it is to use. I like the fact that it works as an app or you can still use this service on any web browser and it’s extremely user friendly anyone can use it even with very little tech skills. Cons The one thing I don’t like is there’s no way of setting up anything to block calls from coming through when using this and when a calls comes through it literally knocks the whole appointment down and kicks me out and I have to start all over. Pros It is a HIPAA compliant telahealth site and it used to be very reliable. Cons The product quality has declined in the past few months. The past 2-3 weeks it's been even worse. Pros I love this free HIPAA compliant video tool to use with my psychotherapy clients. The free version allows me unlimited 60 min sessions! It's wonderful. Cons The only issue is very minor. I am so pleased to have this many features on the free version, I'm considering upgrading to a paid version as I grow and need to customize my waiting room. Pros Simple but easy to navigate and very intuitive program. The connection is always reliable, and patients are pleased with this vs. the telehealth option through my EMR. Cons I have the free version and honestly feel that it is quite robust for a free product. I wouldn't change anything for this level! Cons Sometimes connection is dodgy - postponement of appojntments has been necessary. October 23, 2024 5.0 Pros Doxy is HIPAA compliant, and the platform is easy to use for myself and my clients. Clients do not need to download anything or enter personal information. They click on the secure link that I provide to them. Our connection is reliable unless one of us has WIFI issues (which is not Doxy's fault). I am thrilled with Doxy and feel it is more professional, protective, and secure than other platforms. Cons I love Doxy! September 22, 2024 5.0 Pretty close to perfect. I get great service, very few call issues (which are generally an internet issue and NOT a Doxy issue), and for the price I get a TON of great tools and abilities. Pros I love everything about Doxy. The price, the ease of use, the ability to communicate with patients en mass via waiting room announcements, and the ability for my patients to come into the waiting room for links to coping skills and important research documents. I can collect payments right through Doxy via Stripe, collect patient feedback via Dokbot, share information via screen share, and file transfer. Doxy provides analytics and meeting histories, and connects you will tools like therapeutic exercises with reminders, group calls, and electronic teleconsent with signatures. Cons Honestly, there's nothing I "like least". I would say the one thing I would consider an improvement would be to add a reminder sound (ding!), which can be set for each call individually (or not at all) by the provider, to remind both patient and provider that it's time to "wrap it up." And while this would be a wonderful addition, I definitely don't consider it a deal breaker.
