I continued to use the platform for a long time due to the dependability. Pros I love the user ease on both ends - client and clinician. The platform can be utilized on any device without any major setup or difficulty. I also love the secure nature of the platform. Cons Connectivity issues and buffering were common. Pros Secure, easy to use, good connectively, no complaints from clients. Cons Please add "touch up my appearance" to the video settings. And thanks. I've used both the free version and premium version. Premium offers online sessions with two clients, e.g., a couple, in two different sites, e.g., work places during their breaks. It's always reliable, always user friendly, and HIPPA compliant. Pros Doxy.me is a HIPPA compliant user friendly, reliable application for telehealth. Cons No complaints. I guess if the premium version were free, that would be even better! I'm very pleased with it and will continue using it as long as I'm in business. Other than the long delayed help with technical problems, doxy.me is great. I'll bet that in the future they will not allow a complaint to linger for months as they are perfectly capable to helping resolve such problems. Pros It's easy to use and the price is affordable. Cons It worked fine when we started, but when there was a problem (freezing, audio loss, making sessions frustrating and discouraging clients) Doxy was slow to help though I kept complaining for months. When they finally contacted me directly and worked with me the problem was resolved perfectly. They had said to use Chrome, but now they said use Firefox. The other issue was my ethernet cable which had a problem (I thought ethernet was to be preferred but cables wear out - who'd have guessed?) going over to Wi-Fi then totally fixed it. Cons When using the background feature I can only use the blur, as the other backgrounds do not integrate the background in a way that is not distracting. The feature needs work integrating and blending the facilitator with the background smoothly. I checked out a number of competing platforms, all of which had more cons than pros. Doxy keeps it simple for me and more importantly, for my clients. Pros This is the simplest, most user-friendly telehealth platform I have ever used, including the one within the EMR system I use. Also, it's easy to add multiple participants, so it works great for meetings as well as therapy sessions. Cons The security measures make the connection a little fussy i.e. if your camera has been used on another platform and that software is not closed, Doxy will not allow a video connection. I just have to be careful and prepared to troubleshoot with clients. Doxy.me was both of these things and we have continued to use it even though many of our patients have returned to the office for visits. I would recommend Doxy.me due to ease of use and ease to implement. Pros Doxy.me provides an easy to use telemedicine platform for both the practice and the patient to use. Process is as simple as being notified that a patient is in the virtual waiting room and then logging in and initiating the patient visit. Pros It is a great way to meet with clients when, due to barriers such as i.e. work schedules, transportation, childcare, inclement weather, an in-person session is not feasible. The system works well. Pros I started using Doxy.me during the pandemic when we all had to scramble quickly to move from in person to online. I've found the platform to be very easy to use for me as well as for clients. I continue to use the free version as I am not working as much and don't need the extra features. Cons I have no complaints other than occasionally the meeting history gets lost when the call ends abruptly (internet outages happen). Reason for choosing Doxy.me Initially based on price because we were uncertain of how the pandemic would impact income and how long it would last. Also, ease of use, HIPAA compliant.
