Patients can access it easily and it works. The free version is sufficient for most needs, though a low monthly fee gives a few additional benefits that are nice. Cons I wish the waiting room could be more interactional, ie. would like patients to be able to complete outcome measures while they wait... or possibly after the appt. Pros It is easy to use, easy for clients to use and to navigate, and I like the privacy/HIPPA compliant aspect of it. Cons I wish there were a couple more features included in the free package to give me a little more flexiblity. I know I can depend on Doxy to deliver good video and sound and that we won't spend critical minutes of our session trying to get good audio or resolve a video issue. Pros Doxy is easy to use. I have tried other platforms, but have run into issues with technical problems, dropped sessions, time limits, quality of connections. But Doxy does deliver quality on all of these. Cons no concerns - I did try the free version and found that the quality was fine except with one client. However, when i switched to the midlevel package, I have had no issues. It got us through. I'm not using Doxy.me any more since it is difficult to diagnose skin problems with poor quality photography or videography. Good experience overall, however. Pros Patients did not have to register with Doxy.me in order to use it. They could just follow the link to the medical visit and do the simple system checks and they were in. All of my patients were able to figure it out and use it. Cons No fault of Doxy.me, but the video quality was limited by the patient's camera and software, which did not allow for effective skin evaluation. Cons seems to require more bandwidth on both sides than skype does, so if either party has poor internet, it can really make the conversation terrible. Pros I love that it is so easy to log on. The client is in the waiting room before I start the call. The picture and sound are clear. I love that it records the time. Cons As a teacher, I have 30 or more students, but this software only allows approximately 10 on at a time.
