### "Excellent platform for clinical care services"

December 6, 2023

5.0

I've found it to be a great platform for my application. My clients were happy with its ease of use and clarity of sound and image as I have been. It has a variety of options which I haven't even begun to explore but intend to do so in the future.

Pros

I use this platform for providing clinical psychotherapy services to clients. It has been extremely reliable and consistent. The ease of login and use is superior and significant plus for me I used it daily for 8 hours straight during the COVID years and it never failed me. Internet provider now... well that's a different unrelated story. I had regular positive feedback from clients and families about their ease of use and quality.

Cons

I really did not experience any significant "Cons" about using Doxy.me. It has been a superior platform in my application.

### "Makes tele medicine simple yet secure"

March 14, 2023

4.0

Living and working in Eastern KY there has always been an issue with accessibility to services for individuals without reliable transportation. Doxy.me eliminates this problem and provides access to anyone who can access a WIFI connection.

Pros

Doxy.me is one of the most simple links I have ever used, making it easy for both the clinician and the patient to connect in a secure HIPAA compliant session.

Cons

Issues with connection in areas with poor network strength, some times the sound will not work, sometimes the video won't work, and it takes a few minutes for a patient to load onto the virtual waiting room.

### "Love this product"

March 18, 2024

5.0

I've used Doxy for more than two years now and I rely on it daily to help me communicate with my clients. From live video sessions to posting information and links in my waiting room, Doxy helps me expand the care I give to my clients. Because most of my clients are seniors, I particularly love that they don't have to wait for a link during each session. The static address allows them to bookmark my Doxy site so it's always available to them.

Pros

Static address, waiting room, ability to collect copays, ability to share screen, two way uploads.

Cons

It's not really a con but I do wish the client and I could both see the time we've been in session to keep sessions to an appropriate length.

### "I'm glad that I did!!!"

March 2, 2022

5.0

Refer to the "Pros" above. Not only did I not lose my practice during the pandemic; I was able to take it to the next level. Several people I'd been seeing in person before the pandemic had hardships of some sort and had to move to areas far away. They needed mental health support during this time and I was able to be there for them without a break in services because of doxy.me. Coaching clients were happy to move from audio calls only to video calls. Overall, doxy.me is a GREAT product!

Pros

Doxy.me is good. It's easy to use, not terribly expensive and HIPAA-compliant. I looked at other platforms and doxy.me seemed to be the best. Having not tried the others, I cannot attest to their quality. But I AM pleased with doxy. I've used it since the pandemic began and will likely continue to use it for those who want mental health and coaching services without the headache of commuting. Doxy.me helped me take my practice to the next level.

Cons

Sometimes audio and video weren't aligned. This was usually due to bandwidth available to clients, so I won't throw doxy.me under the bus on this one.

### "Easy to use and nice features available."

February 16, 2024

4.0

It is okay. I like some or most of the features available. I do wish there was a way I could go in and see all my previous appointments that were scheduled, who attended, and who no-showed.

Pros

Most all of the features I've used has been easy to use. I liked the interpreter services and scheduling aspect.

Cons

If I had another program open at the same time as Doxy.Me, my headset would not work when I needed to use it (i.e. Microsoft Teams and having to attend meetings). I would have to log out of Doxy.Me then turn my headset off and restart it to get it working again. It's frustrating and waste of my time. Also, I haven't been able to find a log of my past appointments that have been kept and those appointments where a patient did not show for it.

### "Best I've used for telemedicine so far"

August 24, 2023

5.0

I actually have an included telehealth platform with my EMR company and STILL pay monthly for Doxy. That's how reliable and great to use it is.

Pros

I love the many features and the one click use for my patients. Technology can be so difficult for some of the population I serve medically. This has made it so much less intimidating for them.

Cons

Sometimes connections can be poor, but honestly I don't think that's the program. I recently updated my internet \[provider and I have no more issues.

### "Best Medical Practice Assistant "

February 3, 2020

5.0

Providing excellent, HIPAA compliant telemedicine is a must for our practice. Being able to meet patients where they are at, instead of having them wait, take time away from work or family, and make sure their healthcare needs are met is the number 1 reason we use this program in our practice. It is an excellent program.

Pros

I love the ease of use. I like that there is nothing to download for the patient or provider. Everything is cloud based. Can be used on any device with a camera and internet access.

Cons

Sometimes based on internet service providers, the service can be slow. But this is an outside problem.

Reason for choosing Doxy.me

The free version was excellent. The $29.99 a month option even more spectacular! And the ease of use! Login and go! Same with a patient. Very easy to use, every easy to explain.

AdvancedMD utilized the ZOOM platform. This required several steps before seeing a patient. And required the patient to download software and to make sure everything was updated. This could delay the appointment time by 30-45 minutes if there were download or updating problems. Doxy, also had a free version, which was excellent!

### "No Downloading "

April 28, 2022

4.0

Doing virtual appointments are convenient and simple. Patients can sit home and enjoy their coffee without having to sit in a waiting area in an uncomfortable seat. We get many compliments while using this platform because they feel safe within their home atmosphere.

Pros

The software is very manageable. We have elderly patients who can easily log into the software and enjoy the ease of it. They understand that there is no downloading of any type and they love the convenience of the software we use. As long as the patients have a cell phone or even email, they can use this software with ease.

Cons

There are a couple of things that can be updated and that is the connection of the calls. Speed up the connection process. Although it doesn't take long, connecting the call takes 10 seconds too long. Some calls are instant, whereas some are not. Work on the connection issue.

### "Pretty Good Platform"

January 17, 2022

4.0

Overall doxy.me is a good platform to use if you find that your internet connection is strong enough and secure enough to carry out your purposes.

Pros

I really do like the doxy platform. The video always appeared to be clear. I love that you can send a link and the client can click the link and be directly connected to the platform. This is an excellent feature for those who are not quite tech savvy. It's also a convenient feature to be able to have the platform as an app and use it on your phone; especially if there is some technicality with your computer. All and all this is a simple straight forward platform that can serve the purposes you need for connecting with clientele and completing appointments.

Cons

The one con for me with doxy.me was simply that video was not consistent. There were a number of times for one reason or another that video froze or lagged. I began to be forced to use my phone because the service worked best on my carrier's internet service. This is definitely a drawback of not being able to use Wi-Fi due to bad connection for both parties. This also strengthened the need for using VPN to ensure privacy.

### "Doxy.me: Putting you face to face when you can't be there in reality"

June 9, 2020

4.0

This was a one and hopefully done experience. Not terrible, but new. I have to use the software options that those I need are using for me to have meetings, etc. So, I am virtually a user and at the mercy of the system. It was one of a few lately where I had a "virtual" visit somewhere and it was more than just a 1 on 1. So that dynamic on a new system took a moment to get used to . I didn't love it or what I felt my doctor did or did not get out of it, but with health concerns, it was suitable. Perhaps it has been around for awhile, or maybe is newer. I did not do any extra checking on them because I didn't have a lot of my links until the morning of.So I dove right in. We had a 19 minute meeting and got basics covered. I see that person "live" next week, so I am going to poke around more with their intentions on Doxy.me and the furture should we need to revisit virtual meetings. I will post updates if I get relevant information.

Pros

This was a one time invite from my Dermatologist. Their company uses this method for their sudden need of a "virtual" encounter from home to office or elsewhere while keeping patient exposure low during covid-19 operations. Once we got going,it had a different layout than some other popular types of video conferencing methods and on my end I thought it was positively interesting as it was different. I don't have a special like here however.

Cons

Okay. So, this is the method a Physician of mine uses to help patients while we are in limited environments during the coronavirus. I am just a user invited to the meeting. For me, this was an out of the gate and running type moment because I had no experience with Doxy.me previously and I really received little instructions prior to my meeting. So I felt like I scrambled rather than sat comfortably waiting to join a meeting. I got the wrong provider, despite some login/join codes I had. The way it is set up I suppose was to the Prescriber's needs or likes. It was weird because camera angles and adjustments weren't so clear or fine tuned. I'd think a Dermatology office would have super power visual options to assess patients online. Not here. We had a little audio interruption. It is not a platform I'd want to be on with more than 2 of us in the future.Hopefully I won't have to. But it was an experience. I was left out of most control options and just went with it.

### "Very Satisfied with Doxy.me"

January 19, 2023

5.0

I am very satisfied with the security, reliability, ease of use, and prompt, helpful program support. I regularly receive requests for feedback regarding how clear and how effective the program was for specific meetings. Doxy makes my job easier!

Pros

It's essential that the program I use is HIPPA-compliant, and doxy provides this security. I also like that there's a free version of doxy, and it worked well until I decided that I wanted the additional features of Doxy.me Pro. Doxy Pro has been affordable and a good choice for my business.

Cons

Occasionally there are audio lapses or very occasionally there is difficulty finalizing the video connection with the client.

### "Love the reliability and professional feel "

July 20, 2022

5.0

Doxy.me has been a really great aspect of my practice. It's HIPAA compliant and gives me a very clean, polished way to offer telehealth therapy sessions. Any questions I had were also really quickly answered by customer service, both as I was onboarding and throughout my use of the product.

Pros

I needed a HIPAA compliant platform for teletherapy sessions, so that is a critical part of what makes me like Doxy.me. It's reliable and I have only ever had a few random issues with connectivity (that were likely due to the internet connection of the client). I also really like customizability of the look at the premium level. I have had many patients comment on how professional the waiting room and the layout of the call looks because I am able to use my logo and other branding.

Cons

I have no concerns about the software. It's given me no consistent issues that weren't due to connectivity.

I love Doxy and my clients do also. It's easy and accurate as well as dependable.

Pros

One click and you're in the waiting room. They also keep up with timing of my sessions so I make sure to start and end on time for the next client.

Cons

### "My experience"

April 27, 2023

5.0

I am very satisfied with Doxy.me .

Pros

It is very simple to pretest prior to use. It also user friendly and when something goes wrong due to connectivity of cable service the features allow you to complete the session.

Cons

I have no complaints but it would be handy for me when some calls in at the wrong time to have an easier way to let them know. I am in a different time zone than most of my state so often the inital session is made at the wrong time interupting another persons time.

### "Simple, cost effective, solution based-- great choice for my business! "

March 10, 2022

4.0

HIPAA compliance in providing tele therapy has been a huge plus with this product. Using this product has helped me provide boutique service to more clients. I am excited about existing features like appointment scheduling, online forms and file sharing because it allows me to grow my business at my own pace, cost effectively!

Pros

Integrating this product into my weekly schedule remains relatively seamless. Clients are able to connect with little or no issues on multiple devices. I really appreciate the time management feature because it helps me track session dates and times easily, which is especially helpful when my calendar is particularly busy! I find screen sharing and Bluetooth capability a big plus as well. Easy access to the platform for clients is the most appreciated quality of this product!

Cons

The handling of connections can always be improved upon due to technology changes and updates. From time to time, I experience dropped connections and lagging connection times during high usage periods, usually mid-morning and early evening times for my business. Occasionally the video appears grainy.

### ""Life saver" HIPAA compliant telemedicine solution"

March 18, 2020

4.0

I support a medium-sized primary care medical practice. They need to implement telemedicine almost immediately in light of this Corona Virus crisis. I was able to create an account and send out a request that was received by another device that I have, and within minutes was able to have a live videocall between the two. The graphics were fine, the audio was fine, very little lag. The upgraded version allows for file transfer, which would be better than sending files via email for security reasons. Please be aware that the provider will need to use a device with a Chrome browser. When I tested using it as the provider from a Chrome browser from my Android tablet, it did not work -- I have tested it primarily from a Windows 10 laptop, Chrome browser. I have tested this with a gentleman in his 50s who was easily able to receive the invitation and get access to it from his Android smartphone. I have tested it with Android devices and Windows 10 laptops. Will be testing with an iPad later today. I was very pleased that this was a workable, simple, scalable solution that my medical office client will be able to implement almost immediately, with no up front cost unless they want the upgraded features. The basic functionality is phenomenal, especially considering the medical crisis that we are in. Thank you for this doxy.me

Pros

Patients do not need to create an account, and are able to access from popular browsers, such as Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, from any device.

Cons

Well, patients still have to allow access for the browser to use the camera and microphone. And the email link will open in whichever internet browser is default, and not all patients know how to call up a link in the correct browser. This is difficult sometimes for people who have very few tech skills. However, these problems would exist currently with almost ANY telemedicine solution, as they have more to do with the permissions on the devices being used by the patients rather than relating to doxy.me specifically. Also, they advertised that there was a 30-day "free trial" for the upgraded version, but once I signed up, the upgraded version was only available by paying for it -- however, the fee was very reasonable.

Reason for choosing Doxy.me

Universal compatibility. Most people already have a laptop or Android device or Apple device with Chrome, Firefox, or Safari already installed. Many users already know how to set the needed permissions, or can be eaily walked through it. We needed a solution that staff members would become easily familiarized with. This does the trick!

### "Easy to use. "

May 14, 2018

Videoconferencing with clients.

Pros

Hipaa compliant. Free option, some paid features. No software required- runs on internet browser. Good mobile app. No log-in code required for each session . Clients don't have to register. Clients can log into the "waiting room" at any time. Custom virtual waiting room. You can message clients in the system.

Cons

Only runs on certain internet browsers. If I open another program (Skype, Facetime), I generally have to reboot my computer for Doxy to recognize my microphone again. Video and audio quality varies - often freezes up. Freezing up may be in part due to either my internet speed or the client's internet speed, so I am not sure how they could fix this. They do offer different quality levels (to match the internet speed) however on the paid version.
