### "Nothing special, but does the job"

Pros

VSee does what it says it would do. I could connect and interact with my healthcare provider without any noticeable bugs. There's a chat feature which could come in handy. Setting up video and audio was fairly painless.

Cons

Nothing really stands out about VSee. The interface isn't beautiful but is easy enough to use. The insistence to install the desktop app seems a bit extraneous; I would prefer a web-based interface.

### "Review of VSEE"

I have had to call customer service about many things which should have been explained better in the directions online. The customer service people have always been very helpful, however, so I think I have enough things taken care of now.

Pros

Hipaa compliance is very important, and this platform does a good job of this. The platform also works on a low and reasonable bandwidth, and speed, and the picture and sound are still quite good.

Cons

Lack of adequate troubleshooting directions when there is difficulty with functioning. The internal directions could be better. Not everything about the platform is labeled adequately. It does not allow for multiple people to be in the meeting.

Overall, I felt frustrated and disappointed more often than not. When I would receive an email notification from VSee indicating that the program was being updated in some way, I felt a sense of dread regarding what was to come. I have only observed a worsening in the user experience--for myself as a clinician as well as for my clients--since starting to use this program for which I have paid a monthly fee.

Pros

The integration of VSee was relatively easy at first. When I had difficulties with the program, I reached out for assistance, and the representatives responded in a kind manner.

Cons

I found that the audio lagged during most meetings, the video also often lagged and was sometimes just pixels, and the VSee login page was intermittently down during business hours. I could not rely on VSee to work smoothly on any given day. As an aside, I cannot recall a product for which I have submitted a negative review in my life. I do not like this feeling of writing negative things about a product. However, I received three emails from VSee asking me to submit a review, and with each request, I felt worse about withholding the truth of my experience from other clinicians who could potentially encounter similar issues as I have had.

Reason for choosing VSee Clinic

My trial with the product was without significant problems. I could also obtain a BAA with a package that was offered at a reasonable price for a sole practitioner. I ended up continuing with VSee only because I didn't want to inconvenience my clients by switching to another video platform while things in the world were so upside-down during the COVID pandemic. I would absolutely choose a different program if I were to be faced with the decision again.

### "VSEE Use"

I love VSEE. I have used other products but VSEE is the best. I started using VSEE when Molina Healthcare set it up and I was seeing their patients several years ago. I then switched to my own VSEE and love it.

Pros

That it is HIPPA protected. It is versatile and easy to use.

Cons

When a client loses internet or gets a text or phone call on their phone, it shows them in the waiting room numerous times. Others waiting get frustrated because it shows so many ahead of them. Would be nice if this could be condensed.

### "Great for HIPPA compliant chat"

We selected this chat for medical conversations with office personnel, medical personnel, and patients. Vsee delivered exactly as promised. While you had to pay for the HIPPA compliance certificate, the same security structures and platform was in place.

Pros

Easy to use, low-bandwidth option for HIPPA compliant medical chats. While virtual calls were sometimes slow, the low-bandwidth option was great for those in remote areas or on mobile medical units.

Cons

Sound issues were the biggest issues. Not many cons at all. It provided all that they said they would.

Is great experience for the most part. Able to offer virtual sessions that are secure and cost affordable.

Pros

I am able to do HIPAA compliant calls and not pay a lot of money for the service. Great for one on one sessions.

Cons

I can't really think of cons. It meets all of my needs. I do know that some clients have a hard time with connection and it seems to work better if we switch to a different platform. I just don't know how much of that is user error.

Overall, I really enjoy using VSee which is my first choice in teletherapy platforms with doxy being my backup for clients who complain they are unable to use VSee.

Pros

I use the free version and it works great most of the time. When it doesn’t, it usually is due to internet connectivity issues that my clients are having. I love being able to customize my own window and make as large or small as I like which helps when I’m doing brainspotting to see where my pointer is at to guide the client into processing trauma.

Cons

Some clients have not been able to use it on Android phones or some computer systems for an unknown reason. Clients with this problem have not been able to accurately describe to me why they have not been able to use it.

Simply it's the best out there specially for solo providers like myself. HIPAA compliant, easy to use, great features and recommended by other organizations in the mental health industry.

Pros

Knowing that organizations like NASA uses this software plus that is HIPAA compliant makes a provider like myself do her job with ease. It's easy to install and my client's find it very useful.

Cons

Really can't complain. VSEE offers a waiting room, patient registration, mobile app, what else can you ask for? The video quality is terrific!

Pros

The platform is extremely intuitive. Our operation transformed from vast majority office-based delivery to almost complete video operation within 48 hours during the COVID-19 crisis. Truly amazing!

Cons

Whenever we had a question about how the software worked, the team gave a quick response. If the existing solution did not match a particular workflow, they adapted it to make a great solution. The mark of a great team!

We have had glitches sometimes, but like the security and quality of calls. It's not timed and is very cost effective.

Pros

VSee provides us with a secure, easy way to video conference with each other and gives parents confidence that session will remain private.

Cons

It can be difficult for outsiders and new employees to understand how to use. Contacts aren't as easily added as other platforms.

Overall I'm happy with this product and am enjoying using it for my telehealth needs!

Pros

I love that I can easily send a link to my clients and they can get online without a code or anything else. I love that I can share my screen and show them various things as it pertains to the session. I also love that it will tell us who's internet connection is working or not working.

Cons

Sometimes the video and audio don't sync up together which makes it difficult to navigate. At other times the volume doesn't work at all when the video will.

### "Critical product for healthcare"

Very positive and I find this application to be critical to the future direction of healthcare in general. It was essential during the pandemic lockdown and allowed me to continue to treat scores of patients without interruption.

Pros

The video and sound quality have been consistently very good. Generally my patients have found it easy to use.

Cons

There have been some operational issues at times but VSee has always worked to solve these problems successfully.

VSee has been a decent alternative, but I do not find it very user friendly for the client, the features are limited, and it is also expensive.

Pros

I really like that after I add a client to the app, they can just sign in for each meeting. This is very helpful for businesses where there are reoccurring meetings with the same clients. It means I don't have to send out meeting links prior to each meeting. I also appreciate that VSee is HIPAA compliant.

Cons

Clients have to download the app to join a meeting. This can be cumbersome for clients, especially those who are not tech savvy. Some of my client's have also been unable to sign in prior to a meeting and have had to uninstall and reinstall the app.

Again, this is purely from a user experience, but I like that VSee was niched especially for professionals and clinicians and it felt more secure to have conversations with VSee than with the ever-popular Zoom.

Pros

What I liked most about VSee is how secure it is from a client-aspect. Some of my physicians used Zoom and this didn't have the security features that I felt were necessary. Zoom has had a reputation of being easily hacked, so I felt more comfortable using VSee as a client/patient than Zoom.

Cons

There were times that I had glitchy experiences where the volume wouldn't work or there would be issues with connecting with the video, etc.

It would be great if it stored email addresses so I didn't have to have an external list someone to draw from every time I "invited" a client to a session.

Pros

We've been using the program for a couple of years now for our clients who live in remote areas and can't access mental health benefits. It's been easy for our clients to use as well as our clinicians. We've also noticed that it uses less bandwith than some of the other programs we've used for this service.

Cons

The only con I have isn't even really a negative. Sometimes our clients have had a hard time distinguishing which VSEE app to download on their mobile device because there is more than one.

This is a HIPPA complaint video chatting service so it’s so useful to have confidential sessions or supervision without breaking any laws. I’ve recommended it to several people in my current company already. I also don’t understand how this is different from other video services that makes this specifically HIPPA complaint

Pros

This allowed me to discuss cases and have sessions / supervision while knowing that I was safe from breaking any confidentiality laws.

Cons

When I was using this I never got the hang of how to add others and call. This meant I had to wait for my supervisor to call me each time.

Pros

VSee is a helpful video software for anyone in the medical/mental health field. Personally, it's been useful for me to meet with clients when they cannot come in for a face-to-face session and I know it's HIPAA compliant.

Cons

The picture quality tends to be on the grainier side and shorts out quite a bit, regardless of connection quality. There also isn't an option to opt-out of the green audio cues visible during a call. They are helpful, but can be quite distracting.

Where do I start? Purchasing experience was abysmal. Setup was abysmal. Service was non-existent. Want to leave a message on their voicemail box--sorry, it's full. They claim my subscription is non-refundable. We will see about that, I guess.

Pros

No pros. Worst piece of software I've ever seen. Bar none.

Cons

It did not work for 4/5 of my patients on any platform. Quality of connection was substandard for the ones that did work. I ended up switching to Zoom mid session.

Okay. I often have to call a client back at least once, due to the client not having audio. Sometimes, we have to switch to Zoom. I would prefer to avoid this problem.

Pros

I value that this VSEE software is HIPAA compliant. I appreciate all you all do to help me provide telehealth to so many during this pandemic. You all are amazing and so helpful to me and my clients!

Cons

My clients have a hard time with the onboarding. My long term clients have shared that the VSEE app was easier than the web based software that I purchased. Clients like to be able to go back to VSEE messages, which can be viewed on the VSEE app, but are not available after the web based telehealth sessions. My teen and child clients like to share music videos. I also like to share educational psychology videos like Ted Talks and videos on Class dojo on emotional coping. I like that I can share my screen and the client can too. However, the shared screen view is tiny and the client can not read the worksheets or hardly see the videos I am showing. Further, the client is unable to hear the audio from the video. VSEE only allows audio output from the client and the provider. It would be so incredibly helpful for VSEE to work on allowing videos to be heard. Many of my clients have youtube channels, as do I where we create and want to share videos. Please consider this for future sessions. Clients also like how zoom offers a video background to provide more privacy. This would be a great option for VSEE as well. Thanks for the chance to provide feedback.
