Pros MaintMaster is a very flexible and user friendly Maintenance system. Its easy to setup and configure to your specific needs and the possibilty to create your own selections/filters is very powerful. The fact that all configuration can be done by yourself makes it cost effective and shortens lead times. It's fast and easy to create, plan and report jobs in the system. Good functionality to upload images to jobs, assets,persons and items and also create navigation to assets in the images. The search functionality is outstanding with dynamic result filtering. With MaintMaster we have been able to visualize the performace in realtime fully automated which saves us the time we previously used to manually update scorecards and KPI's MaintMaster has a reasonable price compared to other CMMS with similar functionality Cons some useful functionality is missing in the mobile app. Would have been nice to be able to upload documents(pdf's) directly in the system. Ok you may not get all the bells and whistles that you would from the larger systems but you also don't get the massive costs and the difficulty managing them and there is no need to be a SQL guru to get what you need to and from the system. Easy. Support has also been outstanding and was certainly a factor in choosing the package. Pros Having the ability to customize and add fields is a game changer and allows us to operate how we want to operate. No more banging heads on the desk when wondering what fields need to be populated in Maximo or SAP in order to get a work order closed. These added fields can also then be used to create KPIs and reports that are relevant to what we do. Cons My one main concern would be the handling of routes/rounds as this tends to mean work order history is recorded against a PM and not at Asset level. Having said that i believe this is being looked at for the next release. This then leads to a disconnect and lack of final product use which impacts negatively on the final maintenance/recording process. MaintMaster has a well organized user training dep. and people with good knowledge/experience in maintenance management and can therefore assist in coaching your maintenance team/org. This, and all written in pros above, are very important criterias in the continous work of striving for a more efficient maintenance organization. Pros \- The dynamic search fuctionallities are world class compared to all the other CMMS i've tried! - Easy to navigate and to find functions/menus/tools thanks to a intuitive logical UI, shortcut functionalities and visual aspects like icons, colors etc. - Fast and easy job creating and job reporting. - Minimized need of traditional print reporting because most things can be easily/fast viewed directly in the system. - Almost everything can be setup, imported and configured by yourself, which minimizes the need of expensive consulting fees. - Notifications by mail on events. - Easy to attach and view pictures on assets/objects, parts, jobs etc directly via mobile app or desktop. - Good admin functionallities and easy setup for categories, types, roles, permissions, groups etc. Cons The mobile app does not support adding parts to a job or to edit custom properties, but according to MaintMaster, it will be implemented in next release in a couple of months. WIthout rating I would say most important is to have Maintmaster support in cost control, finding areas to approve reliability, securing that inspections are done in time. Pros Quite easy to setup and adapt to your needs. Mostly easy to use export-import feature. Cons Very annoying with the limitations on one time zone and one currency. Although the system is very agile there are some limitations stopping Maintmaster from being the perfect tool. It's somewhat complicated to configure users and groups of users with permissions, roles, groups, category and top site objects. And even though there are so many different "boxes" a user needs to belong to it's not possible to belong to more than one which limits the flexibility a lot! Another strange thing is that Maintmaster can handle documents but it can't handle pdf-files which must be the most common document these days when it comes to sharing information. Five stars for adding this feature!The mobile app is very easy to use but the startpage should be configurable. Continuos improvements are also implemented in the software. Pros Maint Master is really user friendly and can easily be adapted to suit your needs. By following the ISO standard recommended by Maint Master, it is easy to understand and summarise the data into diagrams. Cons Today it is quite difficult to change the design and content of the printing preferences. September 26, 2022 5.0 We can now fully manage our preventive maintenance in a proactive way, moving away from our previous ad-hoc paper-based system. We've just about eliminated the risk of legal non-compliance and the breakdown rate will certainly be reduced. We can also report on resources required, stock levels and closure of actions. In addition, we're using the system to report hazards and near misses. Pros It's very reasonably priced, and MaintMaster are very transparent on that - unlike competitors, like Shires Piranha. It's relatively intuitive (even for someone as techno-challenged as me!) and far easier to set up and use than other systems we explored. It is already proving invaluable in our asset management and statutory regulatory compliance. It facilitates all machine users to quickly report issues and to follow through to conclusion. Cons Honestly can't think of anything! Maybe over time we may identify something, but I haven't yet. Reason for choosing MaintMaster Transparency on costs, and te value for money MaintMaster clearly demonstrated. Customer support is exceptional. Migration of data is far easier. Pros Die Einfachheit der Implementierung und der Umgang mit der Software. Die Einstell- und Nutzungsmöglichkeiten sind beinahe endlos und immer gleich aufgebaut. Cons Es sind noch Prozessfinessen welche fehlen aber angedacht sind, wie z.B. das Planen der MA um einen klare Tages/Wochenstruktur zu visualisieren. Ersatzteilemanagement ist soweit i.O. die Bestellung der Artikel auch, was fehlt ist die Möglichkeit Motoren oder Anlageteile welche an 3. Firmen zur Revision gehen im Maintmaster zu verarbeiten. Das heist, für genau diese Teile Reparaturaufträge zu erstellen inkl. einem Lieferschein bzw. auch den Wareneingang dessen. So wäre die Historie komplett. It is easy to get started and it creates clear and easy-to-understand views. The program also allows you to make many adjustments so that it suits your business instead of having to adapt the business to the program. Pros It's easy to build a structure and get started with preventive maintenance. Once you have built up your plant structure, it is also easy to work with work orders Cons I miss a nice view for scheduled time on my resources.
