" October 5, 2026 5.0 Parseur is instrumental in a process for our company that used to take 3 hours, and now it takes 45 minutes from start to finish. The data extraction tool is precise and reliable, so we don't have to double check our work as diligently and that is a time saver in and of itself. Pros Parseur is very intuitive and does exactly what we need in record time. It's easy to automate, and it partners with great tools like Make.com and Google Suite to ensure your processes can run seamlessly. Cons There's a little bit of a learning curve, and unless you work with premium, you do a lot of building and setting up on your own. We used a lot of the tutorials and help chat to get through some stuff, while using other platforms to help us set it up correctly. With those supports, we got Parseur to do exactly what we needed. If your time is valuable don't use ChatGPT (it'll take you hours of back and forth to get a simple task corrected) Pros I tried using ChatGPT (pro version) to create a spreadsheet from pdfs with contacts on it (hundreds of pages) It sucked, data and fields were constantly wrong. Found Parseur used it and now the extraction data is nearly 100% accurate and the exported excel spreadsheets are consistent and accurate. Now it's super simple (and accurate) for me to upload data to my CRM Cons Cost per page can get expensive, fast. monthly subscription of say 100 pages per month expires after each month. 1200 page annual pay will expire after a year. This type of pay model benefits Parseur and not the user. AI engine was good at detecting the appropriate information. The AI engine seemed to recognize similar documents that followed on later and got the processing correct on the first try. Cons limited to Templates or using the Freeform AI engine. You should be able to use both. You should be able to select what pages to process for Templates vs regular AI and it would be good to allow flexible page processing based upon the first page of data. Easy to set up and we connected it through Zapier to other tools we're using and everything worked seamlessly (with the AI parsing at least) Cons The manual parsing didn't work so well for us, but the AI parsing worked perfectly. Also, we have a very small use case and there was not the perfect pricing tier for our very tiny need in volume. Pros I am impressed with the detail that I am able to instruct Parseur to extract and the ability to format the data extracted to my standard. Cons You are asking me this question too early. I would like six more months of experience with the product before I answer. Preliminarily, I would love the ability to receive from Parseur a zip+4 code for addresses extracted. This would require an external call to the USPS.com zip code search. October 31, 2025 5.0 Easy that's 10/10. I searched google for "AI tool to extract data from over 5,000 PDF of electrical bills and put in to an excel file". I was given 3 options. I viewed all of them. Parseur was priced right and fit my description perfectly. Pros I was able to try out the software using their "free" plan to see if it would even work for me, before I ended up uploading over 5,700 PDFs of electrical bills. Even better was that each PDF was 3 pages each, but there is a setting that I was able to use that would only scan the 1st page. The data collected was neatly organized in an excel file. There was a minor hiccup in how the data was being displayed, but a quick online chat with one of there techs was able to resolve the issue (which was due to user error). Looks like their program can extract and analyze a lot, but for me I got everything I needed out of it. Can't go wrong with their pricing too! Cons With any AI product, it requires some general understanding of how you need to word the instructions. I would be nice if there was a guided tutorial once you signed up. It managed to process my racing pigeon pedigrees data which saved me tens of hours of manual inputting! Cons It takes a little time to get your head around how it works, but once you have figured it out, it's a breeze! Pricing is also good, as the service works most of the time. Definitely a better option than the Zoho mail parser, or the Zapier mail parser. I also compared it to Mailparser, but I think Parseur is much simpler to use. Pros Easy of use with good UI and Template creation process is pretty easy, client support is also very quick. Cons Features are a bit weak, but hopefuly they will upgrade it soon. I was specially interested in parsing candidate resume data from other websites, but if there's a authentication wall, it's not possible yet. Cons It seems less trainable than competitior softwares where it relies more on AI than allowing you to make a custom software. However I have not delved too deep into it yet so that feature may be available. Its time-saving is absolutely worth it. Pros I was skeptical that it could actually do decent OCR, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It's incredibly capable and saved me a ton of time with data input. The ability to also instruct the AI is critical in how much I enjoyed using it. I think that's what Parseur has above Cons For an individual, the price is a little steep. It would also be nice to be able to buy one-off credits to finish up a project that might be above your monthly page count. I’ve tried dozens of AI model document parsing programs and so far this is the best one I’ve seen by far. Pros I love how intuitive the AI model is and how well it is understanding what I’m looking to do. It even read handwritten checks and parsed them as line items. Cons The document to template to sample to etc process is a bit confusing. You have to upload a doc, process it, then create a template. But then that removes the ability to download the data from that doc which means you have to upload another doc which uses credits. And the AI is different than the template which has to be enabled or disabled if you’re wanting to use the Fields model. Maybe I’m just confused while using it but there are a few too many steps in that process for me.
