"Unity is best for Casual Game Development"

**Overall:** I use Unity to make games on the side, i.e. it's not part of my regular job. Originally I was just curious, but eventually was making games and posting them in the store for download.

**Pros:** Unity is used broadly by game developers, because it does the job so well. Can create a game once and then print it to support all mobile and PC platforms, even VR headsets. Very intuitive UI and produces a game that'll run well even on low-end HW.

**Cons:** Can't handle well overly complex / elaborate game definitions. For demanding games the optimization it's capable of, isn't as good as some of it's competitors.

"A contradictory and useful tool"

**Overall:** Great, all rounded game engine with a few caveats, especially when it comes to post distribution

**Pros:** Opposite to Unreal, I like how seamless it is to integrate and use 2D assets for pixel art

**Cons:** Unfortunately I feel obligated to address that the issues related to using Unity are less in regard to the platfotm but rather their distribution policies disencouraging starting devs to use it
