I will continue to download any game that uses Unity Pros I have downloaded a lot of games that use Unity and the game graphics are outstanding. Best in the industry. Pros Unity is the perfect engine for someone looking to learn because of the low price point and large community. But is is also an engine that you can grow with as you learn. With other "learner" engines, once you learn enough about it, you move on to a better engine, but with Unity, it's all the same engine. Cons A lot of the fancy things the Unity engine can do require third party software that is not as cheap as the engine. This means that it is good to learn on, but when you get serious about making an actual / sell-able piece of software, you will need to spend some more money. I would highly recommend it to aspiring game developers! Pros It took me a while to learn my way around Unity, but once I got the hang of it I realized how powerful it was. What I like most about Unity is the asset store, which helped me get a game up and running quickly without knowing any 3D Animation. Cons Unity takes a while to learn, but that is the only drawback. Audio parameters are well-defined, and the use of manipulation of audio along with game objects and interactions are outlined pretty clearly, and function well. Cons Being a musician / music producer / sound designer doing work with a game development company, I preferred other softwares such as F-Mod in integration of interactive and responsive sound with game objects, as the GUI aligned better with the way I would use an audio workstation, and so Unity felt less intuitive, flexible and on the surface less depth of control. October 22, 2019 5.0 We used Unity daily, our job is to create mobile games F2P, we really wouldn't choose any other software. Unity has all that we need and even more. Pros Unity is by far a great tool for designing and creating games, unlike Unreal, it's very friendly user, you can do great AAA titles and even do small mobile projects. I have even used it for some VR and AR projects. Really this is the best tool if you want to create 2d or 3d applications or games. Cons Il n'est pas facile de penser ou de trouver des défauts à un programme aussi élaboré que celui-ci, mais pour en parler, il consomme beaucoup de puissance de traitement et de RAM d'un PC, ce qui est un peu désagréable pour les utilisateurs qui l'utilisent depuis leur PC. I had the pleasure of using it to assist grad students with their project and it was easy to use. Keep in mind that I had some experience prior with unreal engine. The documentation is also amazing and the community is great too! Cons Backward compatibility and forwards compatibility sometimes isn't great, resorting me to having to download another version of unity which takes space and bandwidth. Pros The art pipeline integration is very simple, which I like. I have no trouble creating 3D environments, weapons, and characters in Blender and importing them into Unity.
