HR Administrator Computer Software Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Streamlined our entire HR systems" April 29, 2023 5.0 Pros What I love about Personio is that it is the one stop shop for all our HR information. As an SME we had been relying on SharePoint to store all our HR information and this was cumbersome and admin heavy, with Personio we can store all the relevant information in one location with no trouble accessing for individual employees. It is an easy to use platform and any new issuer will have no difficulty getting used to the using the system. My favourite feature is the ORG chart provided for all the employees in the organisation so you can know who's who. Cons I have no major dislikes for the Platform - its a new platform, things take time. If you have an idea that would improve the system you are able to post in their Ideation forum to drive change. While Personio offers reporting features, the range of available reports is somewhat limited. This can make it difficult for companies that require more in-depth reporting and analysis for example companies with 100+ employees. The main screen has a summary of everything (dates, documents, and events), and it is possible to go inside each one of these screens and find more detailed information about them. Pros It's a nice tool for keeping records and documentation regarding our interactions with the company. There is no stagnation here. I have already seen a lot of further development that has helped to make our HR work easier. We have already been able to simplify and partially automate various processes. In addition, the usability is really very intuitive, so it's really fun to work with Personio. The customer support is incredibly fast and friendly. The support from our Customer Success Manager is also very good, always helpful and competent. Cons Some parts of Personio are not linked, e.g. absences and reports, which in this case means that a report on the sickness rate only takes into account the absence in days and not in hours. The fact that the different systems do not communicate with each other sometimes results in information being incorrect or Personio not being usable for some cases. Applicant & personnel management, payroll, employee forms and surveys, and approval flows were all shifted into the system in a short amount of time. It was very easy to set up on the IT side, but a bit harder to implement across the organization due to a lack of support documentation. But once we had it up and running:- It saved our HR team hundreds of hours from having to push papers around- Reduced human error - Provided us a more objective way to evaluate applicants- Increased our data integration abilities Pros It supports advanced automations which is fantastic because:1. The system largely eliminates human error and doesn't cause our HR staff a lot of issues.2. The data is sent over to our other tools very smoothly. Cons English support is a bit lacking. Also, there are recurring performance issues in the applicant management dashboard. We also use their documents storage and each employee knows where to find their important information instead asking the HR manager or look for it on google docs. The benefits and time saving definitely outweigh the costs of this app. Pros The support is great. Everyone I have talked to on the phone was aways super nice and helpful. I also like the fact that they take your feedback seriously and suggest the things you mentioned to their product team and might implement solutions that will make the tool even better for you and your team. Cons It's not easy to set up because it's very detailed- that's why you have an implementation manager to help you with that. I also have to use their support quite often when I want to change something, because I'm afraid that it'll adjust things I didn't want to change. I am missing a couple of features, like an overview of the employee's promotions/titles and reports indicating promotions. If I need help, the Support team is usually quite fast and very friendly and helpful. Pros Most features are very intuitive, the user interface is simple and clear, really helpful support team, really good functions. Not perfect but for me the best HR and Recruiting Tool I've seen so far for everything except payroll! Cons The new payroll feature is not really good (yet). E.g - no way to transfer bonus payments, hourly wages that differ from month to month. Pros One of the things I like most about Personio is the employee self-service portal. This allows my employees to access their own information, such as their timesheets, vacation requests, and benefits. It's a great way to give my employees more control over their own data.I also love the reporting features in Personio. These reports give me insights into my workforce, such as employee turnover rates, time off trends, and salary ranges. From the product itself (simple, clean, powerful) to the implementation management (competent, friendly, flexible, knowledgable) to the support and service (fast, helpful, invested) and finally the passive resources (helcenter, tutorials, technical documentation, customer information, release notes) this just rocks. I am very happy with it and can only recommend Personio further. Pros The functionalities are powerful and well implemented. All features are thoroughly thought through and integrate tight and seamlessly into each other. Whenever I came across something i wondered about there was a good reason for it to be this way and it came in handy when we needed it. So, the product itself is simply top notch. The Customer Service also is fantastic. We had an implementation manager who was understanding, helpful, progressively thinking and extremely well versed in the product. On top of it she was flexible and friendly. I can not imagine how it could have been better. Cons I can not imagine much. Some of the Features (for example handling of training tracking or the recruitment part) could have some more features but than again, it is always a matter of keeping the balance between to much and lacking. From time tracking to your documents like your monthly payroll. What I really like is that you can easily enter your working hours in a field and then edit the next day directly after saving the last one. Cons I don't like the Vacation day system. All the informationen are current all the time and available to everyone from anywhere at any time. Pros It is very easy to use, even if you are not that talented in software/IT, it is very very dynamic and adaptable and the combination in Admininstration and recruiting is perfekt. Personio saves almost half of all work steps and you can include the employee excellent in many of the processes. The allocation of roles works very well and is very thoughtful. And what we really have to highlight. The Customer Support!! Very helpful, professionell and friendly!!! And a very good thing. The Webinare!! this is a perfekt way to get to know everything even better. Cons There is actually nothing i do not like about the software. It ist very very complex and I still have the feeling that I only know and use 50% of it. But that is a problem I have!! It is not about the software. I have to spent more time on it! Maybe one thing: holiday: if there is a termination and I I finish the employment relationship in Personio the paid vacation days are still the same and do not automaticaly reduce.
