Overall I love using Apollo as a search enging however they need to work on their credits for contacts model

Pros

I like that I can search for companies and specific roles and titles. This feature makes it more efficient for me to find contacts with the exact rolls I am looking for across different companies without having to visit each company's LinkedIn page individually.

Cons

Their data is somewhat old now compared to a few years back, so they need to improve on the data accuracy of the numbers that they provide for the contacts.

Pros

Great for getting contact data and managing leads in general. It has always been super useful especially the fact that it gives you emails for free.

Cons

The extension and problems with its data continuity, it was not complaint at some popint and it kind of reduced the platforms efficiency.

The integrations with CRM platforms also make a big difference. It allows me to run outreach and organize my leads in a structured, streamlined way without constantly switching between tools or dealing with messy workflows. Another thing that stands out is the customer support. Whenever I run into questions or need clarity, the support team is responsive and helpful, which makes it easier to keep moving without delays. That kind of reliability matters, especially when you’re using the platform daily. Overall, Apollo doesn’t just make outreach more efficient, it makes the entire process easier to manage and sustain over time.

Cons

Honestly, the two things I don’t really like about Apollo are the credit system for phone numbers and the subscription pricing. The pricing feels quite high, especially when you’re trying to scale outreach. In a situation where you need to pull a large volume of leads, the current plan limit of 30,000 credits can get used up quickly, and with phone numbers costing around 8 credits each, it becomes limiting fast. It doesn’t really support heavy outbound usage at scale.

Pros

Accuracy of the available database with complete details from email ID, phone number, geography, and designation.

Cons

Nothing much, sometimes the Apollo LinkedIn plugin behaves a little weird. Rest is definitely one of the most affordable database tools I have used after ZoomInfo.

Very positive, I don't think I've ever had to deal with technical support and the platform fulfill all our needs.

Pros

The is the most efficient lead generation tool that I've used in recent years. It is extremely fast, has a very intuitive interface, and the options available are plentiful.

Cons

The key and only issue with the platform is that after you clean your leads or check off the option the only show verified emails, your total list reduces by like 20%

Pros

Great for our sales team, helps deep diving into discovering leads, connection with Linkedin is great helps with leverage.

Cons

Not had any bad feedback yet. Personally I feel the data enrichment is slightly weaker than some other tools I have used but that's being picky, the sales team seem to like it.

I like Apollo, it's easy to set up and get started. The UI is intuitive and works very well with SalesNav. I just really find it annoying and tedious having to use credits to find contact info multiple times because of the bug that never goes away.

Pros

I like how the contact information is very accurate, especially compared to other software where I sometimes get irrelevant numbers.

Cons

The software is insanely glitchy. When I use credits to get contact information, I almost always need to refresh on the extension and redo it.

Easy to use tool that has a lot of built in functionality for automating outreach. I checked the database against some information that we had about our prospects and it seemed pretty accurate.

Pros

It's a great lead generation and prospecting tool with an extensive B2B contact database. Not only it integrates with CRMs easily, you can also setup automations and sequences to do your outreach for you. The reporting features are also pretty decent.

Cons

Lot of the advanced features are locked behind a higher tier plan. Initial setup time is required to tailor it perfectly to your workflow.

Apollo has been a good starter tool for managing outbound sales strategy. I can see there has been some innovation with the use of new AI tools, but the tool still feels outdated.

Pros

I like being able to create email templates which can either use in sequences or have available in Gmail

Cons

Apollo really slows down my computer. The LinkedIn integration particularly slows down using LinkedIn. I only keep Apollo open if I have to.

Excellent. I've learned to get around the few quirks, but I couldn't have ever had the email list I currently have without it. My job is very easy to prospect as a result, and I don't waste my time or other people's time because I know before emailing or calling enough about the company that I know if it is worth pursuing.

Pros

I used to have multiple products do what this one tool does. I can research companies, find potential prospects, email them, and keep each prospect in an Account. When they change jobs, I can change the information very easily. If they reply, they are taken off the Sequence. It integrates very easily with Salesforce, so I don't need to make changes in both.

Cons

At times I'll run into a little glitch or maybe the AI is not right on(at times it will say the person has a new job, and the new job was a previous job, it is rare, but that's why I look up every lead.) Also at times, it will say the person has a new job, but when I look at LinkedIn, they might have an even newer job! So all I need to do is refresh the page, and Apollo gets its information from LinkedIn and will update its suggestion.

Overall experience with Apollo is phenomenal. Except for a very few reasons, the tool has very less areas to complain about. It is a very powerful tool for any sales /marketing team and can multiply their productivity instantly.

Pros

Apollo is quite a unique and powerful tool for sales and marketing teams equipped with all features for generating, qualifying, prospecting, and also outreach to your audience. The filters are quite good for segmentation. Easy to export and import as well. Also, email outreach makes it a total package.

Cons

The limitation of the number of contacts to be exported at one time shall be increased. Even with a basic plan number of contacts exported at once Is only 25. This could be improved to enhance time management.

Apollo has helped me to solve personalization at scale, using sequencing, AI, and task management with alerts to ensure I am engaged at the right cadence with the personas important for my campaigns. I am very happy with their lead generation solutions.

Pros

The beta release of AI writing to help quantify the real value proposition is cutting-edge and incredibly useful. The reason I use Apollo is that its email and task sequencing is the heart of a best-in-class lead-generation process. The productivity visualization and manager cockpit view, and call monitoring help me manage the work output and quality of the entire team and take steps to help them meet their outreach responsibilities in a timely manner.

Cons

Apollo does not allow the use of VPN which isn't just annoying but can actually interfere with work if your company requires that you connect.

It's been a fulfilling experience, updates to the platform are constant, so it's always performing well. I'd recommend this personally for anyone who has many different systems and CRMs, as this is almost a perfect all-in-one.

Pros

Using Apollo Vs. using something like salesforce allows for a much more simplified experience, less headaches, and overall higher team productivity. It's ability to track team performance allows us to see what our colleagues are doing and improve using proven strategies. It usually doesn't go down, when it does, Customer Support is ready to take action almost immediately. The built-in dialer is one of the best i've used, I would even advised using Apollo for this feature alone as opposed to other VOIPs. It features local numbers as well as personalized numbers as well, and you can virtuallu call any country.

Cons

The main Con is Lead Sourcing. Apollo does have it's own pool that generally gets updated, but I wouldn't recommend this software to gather leads from, like with Zoominfo. The times it does go down, though scarce, can be lenghty some times, slowing down workflow for several hours.

On some days, generating business leads is all I have to do. On those days, Apollo makes my work so easy and so much less irritating. I can find the contact details of the people I exactly intend to reach out to as it allows me the ability to search using their names, job titles, regions, and even job positions. The tool is extremely easy to use and has a database for even the smallest companies that you can find nowhere else. I'm sure I'll be using this tool a lot in the future! I have already recommended it to so many around me, and if you are someone who works in the sales or marketing team of your company, you should definitely give this a try.

Pros

Until a few days ago, I was using LinkedIn to search for leads and find their contact details. Ever since LinkedIn has come up with a search limit, it became so difficult for me to find new leads, especially when this is something I have to do on a daily basis on some days. Recently, my senior at work recommended me Apollo and I fell in love with it since day one! It is so easy to navigate through this tool and with so many filters at your disposal, even easier to find contacts. I'm apparently new to using this tool so I'm still learning my way around it but thanks to its ease of use, fast response, user-friendly interface, and so many exciting features, I have been able to speed up my work and get verified leads without any hassle. Moreover, the ability to save the leads, and send them emails directly from this software are amazing features that very few tools of its kind generally provide.

Cons

It has only been a few days since I started using this tool. Although it's super helpful 90% of the time, rarely, it takes too much time to load and in some cases, it even fails to show verified leads due to which I have to go back to the old method of using LinkedIn to find contact details of those specific leads. This is the only problem I have encountered so far but it does not change my liking towards the tool.

Using Apollo has let me streamline my lead generation activities. Using the same software for both lead generation and outreach makes things smooth.

Pros

It was easy to find contacts in the database based on revenue, employee number, tool stack, and so on. You can easily add them to the campaign you've set up.

Cons

Adding leads to your list is handled in a very slow manner. You have to add them 25 at a time. And this is at every tier except the enterprise level.
