Cost efficiency on international and local calls

Pros

Its communication medium (the internet) makes it easy for people to communicate despite geographical obstacles and the best thing is it doesn't charge for call roaming costs all you need is access to the internet and the software. The features such as conferencing, webinars, call centers , chat and voice mail allows for individuals or companies to operate seamlessly despite different geographical locations. Support from the manufacturer is simply outstanding as there knowledge base and support team go the extra mile to help you.

Cons

To get the licensed vendor partnership take a while but its worth it in the end. The limitations to making multiple outbound calls through one gateway makes becomes frustrating when 2 or more people try it at the same time.

Adesso riusciamo a gestire tutto tramite un unico sistema e riusciamo a far convogliare tutta la comunicazione aziendale in un unico canale. Rispondiamo in mobilità ovunque siamo e la qualità audio è sempre ottima.

I have managed 3CX for my company for over 6 years. During that time we have gone from hosting the PBX on Windows to Hosting on a Digital Ocean Linux VM. 3CX is much more stable on Linux. With a variety of hosting options, you should be able to fit 3CX to your environment and wallet size. Even having an always on backup server is an inexpensive, but necessary endeavor that will keep your employees and clients happy. 3CX is a very competitive option, with many PBX providers that I have queried not even wanting to attempt to compete against the 3CX PBX.

documentation can be outdated at times reporting is not the best

It is a great tool to have as it provides the recording and data so it is good overall.

Pros

It can record your calls, transfer the call and you can search for the numbers available on your system as well.

Cons

It has issues that are resolvable, sometimes it doesn't work even if you have a good internet connection or the voice breaks a lot sometimes.

Abbiamo cambiato il nostro centralino tradizionale optando per una soluzione VOIP Cloud e scegliendo 3CX. L'installazione e la configurazione è stata veloce e semplice. Grazie al programma apposito, abbiamo creato i flussi di chiamata per deviare le chiamate ai diversi reparti e grazie alle API siamo in grado di riconoscere se un cliente ha o no un contratto di assistenza e supporto telefonico già quando chiama. Abbiamo migliorato notevolmente la nostra operatività riducendo i costi, cosa che non è sempre facile.

Pros

Facilità di utilizzo. App mobile semplice ed intuitiva. Qualità della conversazione e facilità di trasferimento chiamate e gestione rubrica personale.

Cons

la chat è spesso lenta e non ha alcune funzionalità quali la modifica e l'eliminazione del singolo messaggio.

3CX has been a game changer for how I manager my time and work schedule. I can quite literally be anywhere in the world and not miss a thing. I like how there is the option to put the function on "Do Not Disturb" as well, for times you want to disconnect.

Pros

For years I have had a flexible schedule which meant I was not always physically in the office. My concern was always that I was missing calls at my desk, or that the front desk personnel would have to forward the call to my cell phone. The 3CX software seamlessly patches my calls through AND shows the extension name and number the call is coming from.

Cons

When I downloaded the software onto my iPhone, it also downloaded all of my personal contacts, which makes it harder to search easily for my colleagues and increases the likelihood of mis-calling the wrong person. I use 3CX only for work, so I do not like having my personal contacts mixed in.

Thank you for your positive review. The new IOS version which we are working on, works as you described. The contacts section will only show contacts from 3CX (Work). Your personal contacts will not be mixed. This is how it is designed. In Android you have a filter - Show ALL, 3CX, Android. If you do not want Personal contacts, deny the permission and check the setting "Do not ask again".

Our installation was smooth and the system has saved us money and improved our daily operations. We had some minor issues with dropping a call here and there initially but they were few and far between and I would write them down as teething issues that were promptly resolved.

Pros

The voip connection enabled us to integrate the system our Xapsys CRM system which helped make our sales team more efficient. Additionally with no individual call charges we make a large saving against our older line based system.

Cons

It's important to have a fast and reliable Internet connection and having good IT support makes set up much more smooth.

Significant amount of customisation available and still easy for someone unfamiliar with VoIP products to use. Call quality is very good as with report generation

Some tasks such as changing extension numbers can be quite complex though this may be across all VoIP products.

Abbiamo scoperto 3CX grazie al nostro fornitore di software gestionale. Un sistema VOIP veramente completo e funzionale.Lo utilizziamo per le chiamate, per le video call, per i webinar e lo abbiamo integrato con il nostro CRM tramite le API.È veramente un ottimo prodotto e ci troviamo molto bene.

Pros

Qualità delle chiamate, parte admin semplice da utilizzare, flessibilità di configurazione, disponibilità App mobile ed API rest, uso in mobilità.

Cons

Manca la possibilità di cambiare lo sfondo delle videochiamate. Sarebbe utile estendere le funzioni disponibili tramite API.

I like that we can configure a digital receptionist instead of hiring an actual reception to manage and direct calls.

Cons

The Microsoft integration doesn't work in real-time for Microsoft Teams availability status, and Microsoft profile pictures can't be managed from admin console unless it is auto populated using Microsoft 365 sync.

Pros

The quality of the recorded calls is amazing and it makes them very useful for training purposes . 3CX gives you a lot of freedom to organize the call list in a way that works for you . The admin panel is centralized ,which makes it easy for managers to properly oversee everything.

Cons

Configuring it when you are starting out takes a lot of time . Status changes ( from online to away and vice versa ) take a while to sync up and this could lead to missed call .

Installing 3CX from scratch, by following our online guides takes between 5-15 minutes typically, depending on what platform you are installing on (Windows/Debian amd64/Raspberry Pi). The time it takes to configure the system thereafter depends only on how big and complex it is. The statuses, if setup correctly, change on precisely on the second configured. If you were experiencing delays, it is most likely the NTP time that was consistent on your network. Our installation guides also mention when and where actions need to be taken to avoid this.

Strepitosa! abbiamo convertito le linee analogiche in Voip, adottato il centralino 3CX, ed ora spendiamo meno e siamo più produttivi.

Pros

Sicuramente la cosa che ci è piaciuta più di tutti e la modalità di licenza che offre utenti illimitati.La licenza varia in base al numero di linee simultanee che si volgiono usare.Con l'installazione in Cloud è già tutto pronto all'uso, che è davvero semplice.E' in continua evoluzione e offre un set di funzioni per la comunicazione unificata, come Chat, webinar, softphone. Davvero un bel prodotto.

E' necessario utilizzare soluzioni Voip certificate per avere il supporto.

I cannot wait until my company chooses a new chat/phone software. I would never recommend this to a company larger than 1 room of workers

There is really nothing I like about this software. It is not user friendly at all

Cons

I dislike everything about this program. The main complaint is there is no way to go off line. To let people know your not there, you must mark it unavailable. but then when you come back you need to remember to make it available again or you can't receive calls. There is no way for it to just go idle when your computer does. In order to see the "call parking" you have to have a second big window open . Atleast on the big window, you can remove the department seperaters and just alphabetize your contacts

Pretty awesome to have a software in place of a desktop. Lack lusted in features however, easy to provision.

Pros

The fact you can use a soft phone in 2020 is pretty great. No need for a physical deskphone. This software is free and connects pretty easily through a provisioning file.

Cons

Extremely laggy and it looks like it came out straight from Microsoft Visual Studios. A lot more features need to be added to change my mind about this piece of software.
