### "Soft phone that works! "

We have remote staff that work at home that all have Bria installed on their pc's it allows us to stay connected and all be in a queue for when customers call in.

Pros

Great value for soft phone services - we switched from the big company to this because of the cost - it has everything you need and very easy to set up.

Cons

Sometimes the updates will fail and you will have to try a few times to get the most updated software version to load.

I'm a Bria administrator, I setup and configure this software for my colleagues and all I can say is that it was so easy to deal with it, features of this app was so awesome as well.

Pros

One of the most thing I like about this app is that it is so easy to use, user interface was very appealing and even if you're a newbie I'm sure you can easily adapt to this software

Cons

I can't think of any reason on why should I dislike this app. My overall experience on this software is great

### "Beware dealing with Counterpath"

They said they would charge our debit card $61, and then took $891 from our credit card. They have refused to refund the money saying they would apply a credit instead. The thing is that we already had a credit from last time they did this and they did not use that credit when calculating the amount due. We now have over $1200 credit with them that we can't use and they are refusing to give us our money back.

Pros

Software is fine. But the company is run by crooks!

Cons

They overcharged our credit card by over $800 and then refused to give us a refund.

Pros

Bria is so easy to use and administer. I'm also the one who setup this software among our team and it is so easy to install and configure. The design of this software is second to none. Kudos to the whole development team

Cons

If they can provide mobile development or application, it will be perfect as we are now using also our phone on day to day work

### "Bria Teams Works Almost Perfectly (Fix)"

I've tried other voip software apps including browser based, and Bria Teams is the best in my opinion because it makes my job easy to provide simply great service to our customers.

Pros

This is my favorite phone software for helping our customers at Kalos Services Inc. Simply Great HVAC Service in Clermont, Florida. The reason we like it so much is because of it's ease of use and the ability to warm transfer our callers.

Cons

I had issues with the software freezing when I allowed the call log fill up. I highly recommend deleting your call log on a daily basis. There is an option for exporting your call history prior to deletion if you need to retain a record.

While Bria Solo might offer specific features, the overall experience was disappointing due to significant functionality gaps and a rigid refund policy. Consider other options before committing.

Pros

Offers a trial period, although it expired quickly in my case.

Cons

\- The minimum subscription term is a full year, despite monthly pricing being advertised. - Lacks SMS support and has poor voice transmission quality. - Voicemail fails to recognize caller ID, complicating access. - My request for a refund was denied after discovering these issues, despite only a month of use.

Bria's mother company built X-lite a powerful feature rich SIP client. They have taken SIP/VOIP telephony to the next level with their unified login/provisioning system and group connectivity.

Pros

Their Windows client is one of the best SIP solutions I've used (and I've used/tried at least a dozen). The best aspect as the uniform provisioning for users. One login gives the user access to all their SIP accounts on different devices. With a mobile or home bases workforce it simplifies connectivity.

Cons

I'd love to see speed dial buttons and I'd like to see an ability to dial dtmf tones while in a call by pasting them rather than by typing them. I'd like to see an easier way to bring the Bria Client "to the front" with one button.

Works very well no issues with it at all.

Pros

What I like most about Bria is how easy it is to use. I love the fact that you can set up auto answer for incoming calls. This has really helped our efficiency at the call center and has helped keep call answer times down.

Cons

From a supervisor stand point Bria is amazing with helping keep numbers where they should be. As a user of this software I do like it better than any other soft phone software that we have used.

Overall, Bria has been a dependable softphone solution for our business. It integrates well with our VoIP platform and provides the tools we need for consistent communication. Some minor technical hiccups aside, it’s a solid app we continue to rely on.

Pros

Bria is easy to install and use, with a clean interface and strong call quality. I especially like the flexibility it offers in configuring SIP accounts and using it across devices. It's reliable for both internal team calls and external business communication.

Cons

The mobile app can sometimes be inconsistent with push notifications, and calls occasionally drop when switching between Wi-Fi and cellular data. The licensing can also be confusing if managing multiple users.

### "Nice softphone application"

I've been using Bria since 2020 and overall it is a good application. I like I can call analogic phone numbers directly from my computer, and the audio quality is quite good in normal conditions. It is easy to use, although sometimes I've faced strange problems due to misconfiguration and I took too much time on solving them (specially problems with headphones/microphone). The GUI is quite intuitive although I'd improve a little bit some parts of it, for example the user-management-related. In general I recommend its use. Let's see if in the future the manufacturer can improve on the small points of improvement it has.

Pros

You can have phone calls with analogic lines. The sound quality is good.

Cons

Some configurations are confusing and/or not user-friendly.

Very happy with the software and on the occasions that I have needed technical assistance, this has been quick and efficient. I have used Bria for almost 4 years now and can't imagine using anything else.

Pros

Whether on my desktop, tablet, or mobile, I can stay connected without any glitches. The software is stable and doesn’t drain battery life excessively, which is a big plus for mobile users.

Cons

Overall, the experience has been very positive; however, it would be nice to have some customisation options, such as changing the colour scheme.

Bria has been a very simple yet useful tool for our company. Bria was a productive experience owing to its free trial and easy-to-use interface.

Pros

Bria's trial version allows me to make free calls to another continent right away. However, given that it is not the full version, it is still very quick and convenient.

Cons

The initial setup was a bit challenging. It would also be nice if we could add texting as an option.

Pros

This software is easy to use, the set up for sip accounts is really simple and the extra configurations to use proxys or dns help a lot when you have to use it outside of the company if via vpn. i find the call recording option being one of the most helpful options since i can get access to my calls for feedback o missing info very quick.

Cons

the only real issue i find with this program is that it has to be updated a lot, and it is really a lot, 1 update every 3 weeks, i don't really get why but that is the only issue i have with bria at the moment.

### "I wish we would have kept this software in my office"

In the last year my company moved away from using this software and I truly miss it. Unfortunately, that was not my call.

Pros

The customer service was great to work with. Call recordings were easy to find.

Cons

There is nothing I have to complain about with this software.

### "Bria always keeps our support team connected!"

Keeping my team connected makes Bria the best solution. No need for extra hardware or complicated setup. I have my office phone anytime with Bria!

Pros

Bria allows our support staff to take, place, transfer and check calls while on the go. No need to 'connect' your cell phone to your desk phone when you can take it with you!

Cons

Bria has been implemented throughout our office. The only complaint is the subscription base use now versus the one-time payment when originally purchased.

### "Counterpath Bria - WHY?"

No more issues - got rid of Counterpath SW!

Pros

since 2017, I used Counterpath - recently I had to change my Laptop and my troubles began, the support of Counterpath was not able to free the purchased license, we exchanged several emails Finally I decided that I can spent my time in a better way and investigated a FREE OF CHARGE Softphone!

Cons

SUPPORT - a big big minus. Honestly there was 1 good support guy \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] who helped me in the past, but the experience I collected 2021 forced me to change and even better the new softphone is free of charge!

Reason for choosing Bria

2017 when I made my decision Counterpath BRIA was rated to be one of the best Softphones. Honestly I cant agree, the softphone had issues working in parallel with TEAMs, crashed in several situations.

It has a robust configuration (You can adjust one or several users at a time), works well if you have new users. The admin can make all of the adjustments on the server side.

Cons

Sorry, the only thing that I could think of would be if the cost per license went down some. Then it would be great.

I use this for phone calls from customers and it's very easy to use with a lot of features and options. I also use it to troubleshoot/replicate customer issues. It's a great software that I like so much I suggest it to any customers looking for a softphone to use with my company's VOIP services

Pros

Multiple accounts are easy to setup and manage, feature sets are easy to adjust for each line

Cons

I have no cons to report about this software, it fully meets my needs

Bria is one of the best VOIP tools I've ever used, with great audio quality and stable connections. Allows you to easily record calls and call transfers.

Pros

Allows call forwarding. It allows recording of calls at any time. Always receive updates and corrections by the developer.

Cons

The license control page does not allow you to delete the history of old computers that used a certain license. It does not have a filter to check only the licenses that are in use.

The initial set up was fine. However, it did not work well for us in the long run due to dropped calls.

Pros

The aspect I liked the most of Bria software is the ease as to which the set up took place. After the download, information was easily entered and call were ready to be taken

Cons

Unfortunately, we seemed to have some issues with pairing with some computers. We also experienced drop calls.

Ease of use through headsets and softphone features.

Pros

BRIA is invaluable to us as a support company. Paired with USB headsets it makes Conferencing, Transfers and Outlook Contact look-ups a breeze. We are heavy users and "on the phone" all day.

Cons

The only downside to using a VOIP system such as BRIA is if we lose the Windows O/S but that is a rare occurrence these days.

Pros

Codec support, integration with other products. Support for Sennheiser headsets was welcome. Windows 10 support also finally got there.

Cons

Quality of upgrades has been spotty - sometimes great, other times not so great. It took a while for Bria 4 notifications to work well in Windows 10. And again, we do not care for the 70% of retail upgrade policy. We'd rather pay 20% a year for support and upgrades - given the overall cost of the software, even 25% would work. Also don't like being pushed to sign-in with Linked-In for this survey.

If frees me from using expensive phones and can be operated easily

Pros

It is very easy to set up. It allows simple address book information. It operates well with most other software. It does what I want and frees me from expensive landline & mobile calls

Cons

I would like to see better outlook integration. There was a great add on which I would like replaced. When my outlook contacts were migrated many contacts are given the name "Mr" or "Mrs". This is an obvious non name field and the software should recognise it.

Pros

Bria doesn't use a lot of system resources and is easy to use for most callers. Doesn't require extensive system configuration and works with most anti-virus products.

Cons

Crashes at least once a day for most users; not extremely stable. No click-to-dial browser extension, but has been configured for click to dial with VanillaSoft CRM in Chrome.

Pros

It's easy to configure and the quality of the calls is great. It's compatible with my IPBX (MyVoice 5000).

Cons

The Android and PC Apps are not synchronised. When I receive a call my PC and my Android phone ring simultaneously that's good. But If I take the call with my PC for example the same call is mentionned as lost on my Android phone. It's not really great because it's not the reality.
