Landing page sometimes shows some random page in the video. There is no way to speak to a person about issues and if it is a live person texting responses to questions, they are not trained. I would never recommend this company. Pros It was easy to learn, offers decent templates and easy to create your own. Unfortunately, the system has a flaw that can't seem to be rectified. Cons Some of my videos download with the wrong landing page and instead pulls one of the first few pages of the video. I have no idea why this happens about 25% of the time but can't get an answer from Animoto. Awful customer service. Pretty sure it's only AI. Never could resolve my issue after weeks of trying and often getting responses unrelated to my question. I hope that the Memories format doesn't go away because I find it unique and no other product has what Animoto has! It has always been way ahead of its time! Pros As a teacher, it is so easy to use! The ability to pace itself to the music saves me so much time, and the uploading of my own music is great! Cons The promo codes are great, but I would like more promo codes for monthly pricing and not just annual. I'm able to make highly creative videos quickly and efficiently because of this platform. I don't have time to learn a program like AfterEffects, and that doesn't matter because Animoto can make amazing videos, too. Pros The platform is so easy to use, and it keeps getting better every year. I love having access to thousands of stock photos and videos included in my account. I can make a video of a super specific topic and know I'm going to be able to find all the images I need. Having all the stock audio is great, too. Cons For a "brand", it would be great to be able to input 3 to 4 colors, instead of just two. If you want the text and highlight to be 2 colors plus the background another color, that's 3 needed right there.
