Pros: I wasn't even asked to write this review, I just like the software so much I wanted to give some appreciation to the team behind it and also help others find the product.

1. Awesome design - I really like my software to have a good interface, and ClickUp has the best I've seen. Elegant, clean, non-cluttered, intuitive, functional.

2. Flexibility - you can organize your work however you see fit, while giving you all the building blocks to do so. I, for example, created just one project inside of ClickUp for all my ongoing Website Design & Dev. projects, each of them being a list inside that project. I still have enough depth because of sub-tasks ans check-lists. Also, I have two more lists called Admin (for admin tasks) and General (for small tasks that don't fit in a project, like support requests)

3. A pleasure to use: this is a corollary of 1 and 2, but I have to mention it here because I always had trouble sticking to whatever system I was trying to get to work. If the App you're using doesn't make checking and updating it daily (at least) a completely friction-less and pleasant experience, then you're a lot likely to "forget" or procrastinate updating it, and things get lost and deadlines get missed. ClickUp nails this. I've never missed a beat ever since I've started and am building up some nice routines around it. Even the daily email digests are clean, to the point and useful

4. Price - IT'S FREE with full features.

Cons: I spent about 10 minutes trying to come up with something negative, and all I found was some functionality that I'd like to see added to the Android App: the ability to sort tasks in the list (by due date, priority, or both). You can do this on the web or desktop app, of course, but I couldn't find this on the mobile app.

Overall: Better productivity, less stress about missing key information on the multiple concurrent projects I run as a freelancer web developer / designer. Clarity into where each project is, what to do next, what's holding it back, what I'm waiting on from clients. The ability to plan my week with the calendar view, and store key info about a project in it's descriptions (not in a task) - stuff like links to resources, and logins, media from clients, etc.

I love the freedom it provides by just giving you all the building blocks you need to organize your work, and not restricting you into "one best way" of doing things. Love the elegant, clean, functional and intuitive interface - it really makes it a pleasure rather than a chore to have to update my projects.

Pros: I love everything about ClickUp. I've used a large selection of alternative PM software (e.g., PivotalTracker, Jira, Target Process, Wrike, dozens of others) and ClickUp is my favorite of all of them.

ClickUp has a robust feature set which matches all of my needs, including excellent hierarchical task management, time tracking, GitHub/Slack integration, configurable kanban/scrum workflows, etc. The team adds new features frequently, and which features get added are chosen as a direct result of community involvement via suggestion and voting.

However, feature completeness isn't really a competing factor; there are so many alternatives on the market that you'll find this feature set elsewhere too. Where they excel is in their attention to user interface and user experience. ClickUp is a delight to use and looks beautiful.

Finally, the customer service from ClickUp is fantastic. My first day using the project (at ClickUp's initial release to the public) I found a bug with time tracking that was a barrier to entry for me. I reported the issue, and they had it fixed by end-of-day. This service has proven to be a consistent fact.

Cons: Nothing. No, really, the software is really so good that I can't think of a single reasonable complaint about the product.

If I really had to nitpick, my only unreasonable complaint is that they don't offer automatic migration from Assembla (yet), which has prevented me from transitioning over my final client who has hundreds of tickets they don't want to lose.

Overall: Huge amounts of time saved, and plenty of delight from the UI.

Pros: Their Workspace > Project > List > Task > Subtask / Multiple Checklist hierarchy stands out as a killer feature - yes it'll take a second to get your head around, but once you get it you won't go back. Eg. I use spaces to separate things that won't mix (ie I won't be assigning tasks to people outside the space, eg. Personal task management space vs work space - managers also have their own 'head office' space).

Sub tasks are not second class citizens.... they are treated as regular tasks - so support all available features such as task assignment, start and end dates, estimated time, priority etc...

CUSTOM Task status' - anything from simple 'open > completed' to 'open > researching > in progress > stuck > for review > complete' - make your own and colour code!

Views for everyone's personal taste - list view, board view, or celendar/time view - something for personal preference, or suitability towards the project at hand.

Version control on task descriptions! No more regrets when co-workers accidentally edit/remove important content.

Watch status - for when managers need to keep an eye on tasks they've assigned or are interested in getting updates on.

Box view is a great way for managers to get a quick overview of who's got how many tasks of each status - eg... who has the most in progress, who has the most stuck, who has the most unstarted tasks etc...

Flexible and in depth notification settings for all kinds of events.

Web, Mobile& Desktop apps.

Public Roadmap!

Cons: No Board View for Subtasks within parent task main window.

No Dark Mode in iOS app.

Overall: Took a few days to get my head around how best to use their fancy hierarchy - but once I realised it's just a way to group tasks into groups so you can work on what needs to get done for a particular project, and then use the 'view all' feature combined with the 'me' option to see all tasks assigned to me across every project & list - in board or list or calendar view, sorted however I wanted (by date or priority) - THEN I fell in love with ClickUp.

ClickUp should be on everyone's radar as the new standard for productivity and project management

Pros: I appreciate the huge effort that ClickUp puts into customer service and constant development of the program. I first looked into ClickUp in August 2017, but it was not yet developed enough for my needs. It has since not only met my needs, but surpasses them, and I've been a happy client since April 2018.

I've started using ClickUp for everything I need to get done at work. If it will take me longer than 10 minutes to do, it gets added as a task. There is a very handy Chrome extension that makes task creation and time logging really simple. Rather than depending on snoozed emails or an in-the-moment triage of what I need to work on, I use ClickUp to keep myself organized. My previous to-do app was not being developed (at least, there were no significant features being added), I couldn't involve my colleagues, and the flow didn't quite fit the way I work. With ClickUp, there is significant weekly development, I can assign tasks to others, and I can configure the program to fit my workflow precisely. On top of all this, it is at a great price point compared to many of the other options out there.

Cons: My dislikes would be very minor and may become moot in the very near future. The app only loads some of the tasks that would appear on a page (to keep loading quick, I imagine), which means that when I want to view all my tasks I have to scroll down, wait for more to load, scroll down again, wait for more to load, and so on. There are also a few cases where it takes too many clicks to get things done, although I find that's constantly being improved. Finally, the Android app is a bit tedious to use.

Overall: ClickUp helps me stay organized in a way that no other program has been able to do for me. It is extremely configurable, is constantly being developed, and helps me keep on top of tasks I've delegated or expect others to complete.

Pros: The ease of use is phenomenal. We were able to import our issues from JIRA into ClickUp tasks with ease. We have separate spaces for different stuff -- 1 for development, 1 for general IT junk and another for network infrastructure. The feature set is fantastic, including the features that are available to free users, with more features being added all the time thanks to the ultra-responsive devs. All of this is great, but I think my favourite part is how ClickUp deal with consumers. Substantial new feature requests are often turned around in a few months and the support team are always really friendly and helpful.

Cons: When we imported from JIRA, instead of filling out various fields it would just write the issue info into the body of the new task, which wasn't ideal. I raised this at the time with the support team so they may have resolved it by now, I'm not sure. Another slight issue is the speed. I don't notice it so much on my newer machine but my older machine it was slightly difficult because of this. Impossible to run on Raspberry Pi as well, it will take several minutes to perform basic operations.

Overall: We are an in-house IT dept across a few sites, so we use it for stuff like keeping track of things that needs to be done that don't quite fit into our ticketing system (e.g. users coming and leaving the company), but we also use it for network infrastructure projects and any in-house development tasks that we're working on.

Simplicity is power!

Pros: We used this software for more than a year until our corporate standards forced us to move to JIRA.

What I like the most about ClickUp is its lightweight UI design. We were team of 50 and there was about 20+ junior members there. With ClickUp delegation was really easy as I was able to create tasks in format sufficient for particular team meembers. In particular, while checklists worked just fine for junior team members, more abstract tasks created by peredefined templates worked good for senior members, who wanted more creativity freedom.

Cons: Migration from and to JIRA was really challenging.

We needed to involve consierable engineering effortto leverage their API to export the data in sufficient format.

Also when I needed to collect some KPIs such as work balance between planning and implementation tasks, that turned out to be really tricky as to get time spent on tasks statistics.

Overall: That was a great solution for our business as we didn't need any special knowledge to manage really great task management software. It was complicated to scale it to bigger business thoung due to variety of team demands.

Pros: My favorite part of the software is the project and task statuses. You can easily customize your project workflow by adjusting how you categorize your specific phases for a project. Typically in other project management softwares the task is either assigned or completed. With ClickUp I can customize the different steps I would like to take each task through for a project type. ClickUp also has a really intuitive functionality when it comes to separating different workspaces. I work with many different types of industries, and I like to separate them completely in my mind. Thankfully they are still only one click away with ClickUp just incase I need them.

Cons: The User Interface feels minimal to the point that I sometimes don't know what I'm supposed to focus on while using. There are some experience issues such as slightly overcomplicating how to create a project or task. Overall, these things can be overcome with a bit of learning and time. I think it's worth it to stick it out with this software.

Overall: This software helps me to stay organized with multiple different projects going on at one time. It's great for the solo-preneur who wants to store project information in a centralized location. Can take some getting used to for those not use to project management.

Pros: Ability to quickly deploy and get a good result: 1 week to deploy, 1 week to rollout to project team, 1 week to start seeing results. 4 weeks in I, as the customer, now have visibility into what the vendor is doing/not doing on the vendor led project that affects 12 separate locations. I am able to set KPI for the vendor to work by. The visibility and trackability provided the ability to hold the vendor accountable for results, provide a means of communicating out to the stakeholders what is happening on the project as well as a means for receiving feedback from non-tech customers. Customers are able to quickly pick up the issue tracking implemented and run with it. We love the ability to see all comments/conversations on tasks using the "bell" or notifications icon that shows all the conversations for all tasks in one location. Priceless feature. The customer service is outstanding...they caught an error, fixed it and notified me before I even discovered the error had occurred. Who does that?

Cons: The way is is right now makes it hard to complain. It exceeded my expectation after heavy use and now we are working to move from the free version to integrate the paid version into our project. It is a newer tool so there are features that would be nice to have, more integrations, etc.

Overall: We started by trying to gain visibility and trackability on a vendor-led project and spread to project management. We are tracking issues, managing projects and providing extended enterprise communication with disparate entities and geographic locations via clickup.

Pros: This program was written with the user in mind. I have begged other packages (that have great functionality) to give us a dashboard that's "at-a-glance" usable. They never listened. ClickUP gave me 3-and they are totally customizable. I know at a single glance what's happening inside all of my client projects. Plus, they have an ongoing feature request and suggestion site, where features get voted up and actually implemented (within reason). The fact that they are so passionate about this product and are continuously making it better. I'm like a little kid at Christmas when I get an feature update email. There's always something new. It always gives me new ideas and new ways to organize my information. No other platform comes close.

Cons: Probably that not enough people know about it. I wish they'd do more marketing to get the word out. I want more people, including my vendors and subcontractors to use it so I can bring them into my teams on project so they can take advantage of the rich notifications. (I am not trying to micromanage them, I swear!

Overall: Keeps my projects and tasks organized.

Pros: ClickUp is so very intuitive and fluid in operation. Admittedly, it was lacking in integrations when we first started over eight months or so ago. But the responsiveness, individual attention and honesty of their customer service has no equal.

The speed of bug fixes, improvements and updates to the service is quite stunning. We have not had a better experience in this regard, and that is what will keep us using ClickUp. The support we received from using other competitors pales in comparison.

We also love and depend on ClickUp's fantastic integrations with Toggl and Slack.

Cons: All the drawbacks, bugs and integrations that we experienced has basically been fixed or alleviated. There isn't anything we dislike or hate in its current iteration. Although we could use additional integrations to Zendesk. Also, the Android mobile app is a work in progress still.

Overall: Project Management both for Administration and also for Software Development. We migrated from Asana and Jira to ClickUp over eight months ago, and have never looked back. Their customer service is a model for our startup.

Beautiful, Incredible Flexibility and insainely great customer support!

Pros: I love the team behind Clickup the most, I can tell they truly care about having the best project management platform and care for their users and thats a big part of what makes the app so great. I love Clickup's clean and easy to use web and mobile apps and I really like that it gives you the ability to have customizable spaces for each project and multiple different views for getting stuff done in the way that works best for you. I love that they listen to user feedback and are always adding new and very useful features.

Cons: The only con I can think of is that there are no pre-made deployable templates for setting up the best workflow for particular project types so that you can get going quickly. Once you do setup a workflow you can save the template and redeploy it though.

Overall: We can now visualize what our team is working on and see how a project evolves and where we can make improvements in our workflow.

Pros: I love being able to have all my tasks in one location. I love the ability to see the board view and click and drag tasks from one status to another easily. I also love the android app. It has a dark theme that looks great. The customer support has been good and as of now I have been using their free product and it has been working great for me. If I ever needed to have my department or company start using something like this I would recommend ClickUp to them.

Cons: Nothing much, works great. I haven't really found anything that needs improved much. They have a site where you can vote on the features and you can see the requests they are working on and the ones that are planned on coming out in the future.

Overall: I get tickets and tasks from many sources. I use Zapier with ClickUp to automate all requests to come into one place so that I can have one list of ToDos and stay focused. I am trying to automate more items to come into it so I can just work inside the one tool. I can automate closing of tasks to do other items with their APIs.

Do the trial and and see if it will work for you. There are many features and if you don't try it out you won't know if it will work for you. I haven't had any major issues and they have a lot of the features and more of other popular services like Trello.

Pros: I have used a LOT of task managers. Recently, I have been having success with a Kanban model. ClickUp is the best Kanban implementation I have used. It is the right mix of simplicity and detail, and it meets my needs perfectly. The addition of other models (Box & List) puts it over the top. The hierarchical structure of ClickUp allows me to organize things almost any way I want.

Cons: Least is very much a relative term. There is nothing about ClickUp that I dislike, but I would like to be able to email tasks directly into ClickUp (I use a Zapier Zap to accomplish that for now). It would also be nice to have a checkbox on the tasks in the full display that moves them to closed when checked (the checkbox is in the detail view of the individual items). We all know how satisfying it is to check off an item when complete. However, these are minor issues that don't impact the usability.

Overall: The organization of the UI and feature set of ClickUp have allowed me to stay on top of my tasks & projects better than any other task/project manager I have used.

Pros: ClickUp is easy to use even for non-techy people. Projects created in ClickUp will be well organized. Users will always know what to be done and no more missing tasks. The UI is clean, simple and visual. Most of the basic features required for a project management tool is there (or going to be, or being finetuned).

Supporting is great. ClickUp team is always there to help even for free plan users.

Developement team is working hard. ClickUp is updated so often to keep the app run smooth and has the most productive features. Great things are just coming soon.

Cons: ClickUp is new, so it will lack many things: intergration to popular services, admin control, advanced features like custom field, automation... Those stuffs are being developed so users have to wait at the meantime.

The performance is no so good. ClickUp runs slow on all the flatform.

The free plans doesn't mean so much compare to Trello free plans. ClickUp free plans give only 100MB which will run out in second for any team that have attachments. For the entire build, ClickUp should set users free on storage and strict them on feature sets which is still quite basic entirely.

Overall: We're doing retail store. We manage our orders with ClickUp and it helps much on tracking order states, storing customer information, assigning tasks... ClickUp helps us keep track of everything and that helps sastify our customers.

Pros: I've used many productivity software but never find an optimal solution. Until now. Clickup is user friendly and complex enough at the same time - easy to use but offers all the advanced options. What I like most:

- Very intuitive and easy to use. Clear and customizable interface (customizable = not only you can set the colour etc. but also turn on/off options you need and columns you'd like to see/hide). Great documenation and tutorials

- Three different aproaches found in different apps combined: Lists of items (like in Asana, Todoist etc.) / Boxes and cards (like in Trello) / Calendar view

- Start date, due date and time estimation for each task - in most productivity apps one of those is either missing or is available only in premium version

- Task dependencies even in the free version

- Multilevel structure: Spaces - Projects - Task - Subtasks - Checklists

- Import: you can move your staff to Clikcup from many popular apps and services with few clicks

- Integration with time tracking apps, calendars, gmail (via Zapier) etc.

Cons: - No desktop app

- While creating tasks from emails Clickup doesn't import attachements

- You need to have a separate time tracking software and actually it should be Harvest or Toggl if things are expected to sync smoothly with Clickup

- easy to use even by non-technical people (we got our artists to use it which was a huge surprise, they usually avoid any tool whatsoever)

- anything can be done in a few clicks/drags - no lengthy forms (i.e Jira/Asana/Redmine) or ticks/checks

Features

- instead of being bloated from the get-go, it allows users to dynamically pick/choose featured on a per-project basis

- everything that was missing 6 months ago is present now, and the team is constantly working on new, easy-to-use features

Scalability

- we started using it for 10 very small projects (2-3 weeks dev cycle at the most) and worked amazingly

- we ended up using it for a year-long multiple-iteration/milestone project with distributed development and.. it still works amazingly

Cons: Lack of personalization options in terms of colors, fonts and sizes. I'd personally go for a dark theme with more compact content and smaller fonts.

Overall: Better project management

- we use it for tracking of issues and bugs, as well as communication with off-site partners regarding their needs, their observations and their tasks.

Communication

- commenting and adding attachment to individual tasks/lists helps us communicate better and in simpler, clearer terms

Bigger picture

- switching to other views allows us to see how many issues are open, how many tasks are left and how we're doing as a team

Pros: Very simple to get started, the layout is very intuitive, and the feature set for task management is great value for money. Being a solo founder, I enjoy seeing a big team iterate so quickly.

I have used so many productivity apps directly competing with ClickUp but none made me actually check in daily in it. They were either too bare, or too overkill.

Cons: Three things are missing that would make this application completely perfect (like, really).

1. Android app doesn't work offline (bummer for my plane journeys)

2. Gantt/Timeline views not yet available (but in the pipeline I believe)

3. Guests and Granular permissions not yet released (also soon to be out)

Number 2 and 3 are extremely important in that they would very much make my life easier.

Overall: I am a solo founder working on very different products. Some of them include external writers, others include the dev and maintenance of several microservices. I am happy to have found a place from which I can manage them all.

Pros: Support. Support. And. Support.

I use this for my day job. Side hustle. And personal life. Simple tasks. Big hundred-task projects with dependencies. Between my virtual brain (Evernote) and ClickUp, I feel like my life is under control.

Stuff that costs money (or isn't available) in Asana, is free with ClickUp. I can buy a single user license (have to buy a minimum of 5 seats with Asana).

Platform is crazy customizable to suit your needs. Too much to cover here. Unless you are building a skyscraper or the next space shuttle, ClickUp will probably be perfect for you.

Cons: You need to get your head around Spaces, Projects and Lists BEFORE you migrate from another app (just to prevent having to go back an import again...don't ask me how I know this).

I spend a lot of time in planes and I'd love to be able to work offline. Plane time is normally thinking time and that means I need ClickUp app on my mobile working. Probably not a high priority and I can live without it, it would just be a nice-to-have.

Learning curve is steeper than Asana. But persist, it is worth it.

Overall: Love love love ClickUp. Support team walked me through migration from Asana. Answered all my stupid questions. And the platform has better functionality than Asana. Migrate today. Thank me later.

Pros: Before ClickUp we were using Basecamp for project management. Basecamp was a great starting platform but as we grew it quickly become apparent that we needed something more robust. ClickUp answered (almost) all of our needs. Clients, projects, and tasks can all be viewed in multiple views. We can also see all project workflow across the entire agency and contributing members in one view, which was impossible with Basecamp. Also, there are a ton more features within an individual task like time estimates, tracking capabilities, and subtasks that Basecamp didn't offer. Overall, we're extremely pleased with our decision to switch to ClickUp.

Cons: The only downside to ClickUp is they are relatively newer compared to similar project management platforms so features are still be added/ fine-tuned. For example, ClickUp doesn't have a Gantt chart feature and their notification system could be GREATLY improved. They also currently don't support client communication. However, they are aggressively working on adding new features.

Overall: We've been using ClickUp for about 3-5 months now and we're noticing that projects are getting done on time more frequently and sometimes even ahead of schedule. That alone is completely worth the switch from Basecamp to ClickUp.

Pros: Creating the Private workspace and Creating own Custom Task status. Lastly, time tracking feature added is cool. You can assign a comment to a team member -> meaning you can specifically assign a sub tasks within the comments to different team member. They resolve it and still view which part of the task is left. The reporting feature used twice and is very cool. New Task at top right side is best to fastly create the tasks against respective project.

Cons: Sometimes it performs slow. Mobile app usability can be improved more. Could be a bit tricky for non-techie people. Email alerts, the comments section must be more highlighted rather to the task name. Lot of features present in the product and seems have not used all. So, a very interactive blog will help users. If the blog is present we have no idea. Marketing team must focus on it.

Overall: Managing the projects with all teams across the world easily. Mobile app helps a lot to reply to client queries promptly. We were using Producteev and it shut down. ClickUp came with better product. The reports section helped us a lot to make the weekly reports. We created our own status system which helped our non-techie people. Private work space helped us not to use any other product for internal discussions.

Pros: ClickUp is constantly improving and expanding its functionality and feature set. It is easy to learn, intuitive to use, and provides us with the ability to ensure that we keep teams, projects and the entire organization on track.

Cons: If you are an old school user who wants and application to install that never changes and is exactly the same all the time without improvements and updates, ClickUp may not be for you.

Overall: We use ClickUp to ensure that the entire team is on track with tasks and projects. It also allows management to see what effort has been completed and the ability to shift tasks to other team members without the new team member having to spend a lot of time with the old team member determining what has already been done.

Pros: Great project structure and functions. My most important function I need is recurring tasks. It also has all the other things such as priorities, board views (I don't use that but others like it), due dates, time estimates, and more.

Cons: The one thing I really wish it had is additional privacy settings. Right now people either have access to a "space" or don't have it, there is no way to give them access to only certain projects within a space. Also, there is no way, that I can tell, to have a comment only visible to certain people in the space. Sometimes that is necessary, I hope they come out with that soon.

I also would like them to improve their templates. Right now if you are using a task list template, you set the start date, but you can't set all the other dates. This causes a lot of problems because you don't always start a task list on a certain day of the week. They need to create a way to toggle the dates independently as you are creating the tasks, and have a way so the dates skip weekends.

Overall: It's fantastic. I love using it, my employees love it, and it's such an important part of our company. We wouldn't be able to function without ClickUp.

Pros: I like that it has the clickapp ability to turn on or off the features that you want. I have users that are not tech savvy and too many buttons and widgets just scare them. I hope they keep this going. Secondly the customer service has been top notch. I've been able to just chat directly with them instead of long, drawn out e-mails, and their documentation and roadmap are super helpful. You can tell that they really want to listen to the customer and deliver what they need.

Cons: The notification system right now are a non-starter with my company for general use. They have an update coming out soon (+1 of the roadmap!!) that I hope will change all of that. Also they are getting more and more features, while it may be helpful, can clutter up the UI for the non-technical users. I would like to see a stronger stance on the clickapp part of the turn off/on features so I can keep it as simple as possible for my users.

Overall: We can use this to reduce downtime in our workflow through engineering and through any projects we have going. We can answer questions about status definitively and make sure that everyone knows who is supposed to be doing what.

Pros: You can assign tasks to your team members and you can install it in your mobile phones. You can get notifications from your mobile and being able to make comments upon each task. You can invite unlimited team members during trial which does not expire. Its not that expensive compared to other competitors. It has sub-tasks, and you can let others in the team be assigned as watchers too.

Cons: Its a little complex to start with compared to others but youll get the hang of it in no time. Im looking for something like a "wall" feature like facebook wall. There is no "Me" functionality in the mobile app where you can see immediately tasks that are assigned to you. unlike the desktop version. You need to go to notifications to see updates/comments.

Pros: Probably the best value for the money. We were in between monday.com and airtable and then this came up in our search along with multiple other businesses. The choice was a clear one, Monday.com did not have the friendly pricing structure for small businesses and airtable did not have robust features as click-up. Very responsive and a very active and kind support and developing team. They actually pay attention to your support requests and then build new features based on the gaps they notice with users. Click Up seems to find that perfect application balance navigating through multiple team members, projects, and taks. The ability to have different overviews of the projects and the users' dashboards definitely contributes to Click up being more than just project management tool, but also standard operations processes at a very high level with a very intuitive layout.

Cons: The only thing I can think of is that I would like a bit more integration options, but with zapier I am able to do whatever I need.

Overall: Project Management, staff management, time-line managment.

Pros: That they divide the space really clear. Inside each team, we found projects, then lists, tasks, subtasks, and to-do. I couldn't ask for more, that was what I was looking for. That is for me the main Pro it has.

The second one is that is free for almost everything, so you won't notice you are not using the paid version.

Third, the customer service is the best I've ever talked to. Really clear, focused, helpful and kind.

Cons: The only thing I can say, is that the android app is not the best I've used, but it works perfectly good, is just is not a top designed 110% functions app, but I'm really confident that that will improve soon.

Overall: Truly clear interface with an amazing useful hierarchy. I finally can control and handle all I have to do with work.

Pros: Flexibility and Customisability.

ClickUp adapts almost flawlessly to any project requirement that we've thrown at it, and the team loves working with it. The roadmap is exciting, and there's always something new being announced, which keeps the platform feeling fresh.

Cons: Currently runs a bit slow in browser (performance optimisation is on their roadmap, so I believe it's being improved as I type this.)

macOS application is a wrapped web page, not native, so similar performance as web app.

Mobile App is a bit cumbersome.

Overall: We've moved from Asana to ClickUp (which was seamless), and whether we're working on small or large projects, ClickUp makes it extremely easy to keep track of everything. The support is amazing and the team is super responsive to customer feedback.

Pros: First of all, the platform works perfectly, overcoming all promises done. Besides that, it brings together useful features and an outstanding design from the very first login until its advanced functions. The frequent update releases show that ClickUp has on your backstage a skilled and full of life team. Definetivly, a wonderful star rising on the horizon.

Cons: I really haven't found a good reason to complain or improvements to suggest. Maybe a Gantt chart could be a good one, but I know they are working on it right away.

Overall: I use ClickUp to manage my team's activities, delegate tasks, attach briefings or screenshots, and also detail each part of the project we're working on. I like the way you can easily set priority, due date, and use tags for specific jobs.

Pros: I love how easy it is to use and understand. i also love how it is so organized and can be customized per user to fit how that user visualized their tasks. I love how it notifies the proper people of the proper tasks and nothing gets left behind or forgotten because of this.

Cons: I don't love the storage limits on the free program and would love a way to just buy storage but not have to pay per user to get it. I would love love to be able to pay per user for some users on my team but not all.

Overall: Click up changed my business for the better. We were starting to get too big for our previous program and with Click Up we can continue to grow as we need to we do over 400 projects a month and we are still working off of their FREE version! That is incredible for us!

Pros: The absolute best feature about Clickup is the customization! I can create custom fields for numbers, data, text, links, etc. I can organize items by color, add my own statuses, make tasks recur with custom criteria. It just makes doing stuff easier. I also really love the "Box" mode. Clickup keeps track of what I am currently working on, what I worked on yesterday, last week, etc. It also tells me what I need to accomplish in a any period of time-based on due dates, priority, and status. With the premium upgrade, I am able to customize reports to send to my client so they can know where most of my time was spent. Also, I can track my team's time and find out who's behind schedule, who needs help, and who is the top productivity winner! This software is the best!

Cons: If I just have to pick something, I'd say the fact that it is pay per user vs a fee for unlimited users. I was going to create a "portal" type area for my clients to view status, but since I have to pay for them, I just create reports on a spreadsheet.

Pros: Clickup is the best project management app I have used. You can customize pretty much everything in it, so it should fit a wide range of projects and situations. What I like most about it is that, even with its many features, it has retained its ease of use - I have never gotten lost or confused - things are just where you expect them to be. The second best thing about Clickup is its customer service - they are incredibly responsive and helpful.

Cons: There really isn't anything I don't like, but I gave 4 stars to the features as they are still working on adding more features to the program. But once the features are added, it should be a great program.

Pros: My team used Clickup as a project management tool for instructional designers creating new online courses. The interface and collaboration tools were incredibly intuitive and relatively powerful. It provided an excellent structure to track complex projects, and for bringing in teams of people to work on such projects. Support has been incredibly responsive and eager to implement our suggestions.

Cons: Clickup is still in early development as I write this, so a number of features that would take this product to the next level are currently missing, such as integration with a scrum/Agile model. New tools seem to be coming, but at the moment the product is still in very early stages.

Pros: I've used other solutions such as Jira, Trello, and Asana in my professional career, and ClickUp knocks those out of the park. It's a perfect blend of the best parts of all three without the bloat. Also, they are extremely good at listening to their customers and implementing features that have been requested. Because their turnaround time is so fast (with little to no bugs), you know they got a well-run team working on this.

Cons: Nothing in particular. Because the product and team is moving super fast/quickly, there could be some performance improvements, but those are just growing pains. As long as they continue to optimize performance, I have no concerns.

Pros: Excellent value for money. The free option is almost too good as I'm sure we could have stayed there and managed but I paid for the upgrade mainly to show my support plus open up the ability for attachments. The support is really good. They actually answer questions as if you matter and requests are implemented quickly.

Cons: When I have a project selected and use the Create Task quick link, it would be good if the software recognised the fact I was already in a project as opposed to making me select which project this referred to.

Overall: Project, task and time management under 'one roof' so great for teams of all sizes. Being cloud-based and with an app to support it, ideal for remote workers as well.

Pros: Love the different views between Box/List/Board and Calendar that syncs with Gmail. The customer service is second to one. Super friendly, always reply quickly and have even implemented some of the changes I suggested when trialing the platform. It's the perfect platform for someone like me who works remotely with my team.

Cons: I would like to be able to log in via my different work email addresses rather than one central account. It's not something that impacts how I use the software, but hopefully this can be added in the future.

Overall: Our team works remotely so ClickUp has acted as a central hub to assign tasks and get things done! Multiple views ensure users can tailor it to what suits them best.

Pros: I have used non collaborative to-do lists GTD etc since the first release of Omnifocus, must be 10 years ago, and had finally found something that was easy, complete and effective (no tendency to procrastinate) in 2Do, synced with Toodledo.

When I had to move to a collaborative task management/project software, I went back end fro for 2 years between the free versions of Asana, Trello, Podio because none was attracting enough.

Thanks to reviews here I tried Clickup. it was easy to use, full of features and I stayed with it . The free version has most features!

Cons: The Android version has no sorting feature, and the "board" view remains empty if you have no good internet (I found a turn around, looking at the list view nd then board again). However, difficult not to love

Pros: Clickup allows you to switch between list and board view which is awesome. There are a huge number of integrations available and also the pricing is very competitive. It also has a time tracking app built it which can be used through a chrome extension

Cons: There is no timeline view and you cant use clickup for running sprints. Also, the desktop app only works when you are offline, it would have ben great to have an offline first app. the app does not allow you to have guest users or clients.

Pros: On the surface, the user interface is stunning and intuitive. Functionality-wise, there isn't much ClickUp can't do when it comes to task and project management. It was important to me to find a system that would allow for not just task management but also priority management and so much more.

Cons: In a small way, ClickUp was almost a bit robust for what I was in need of. So it took me a bit to wrap my head around how I wanted to set up & organize my account as I'm more focused on overall task management, rather than top-level project management.

Overall: I leaned on ClickUp's team in the early stages of setting up my account to get some suggestions and best practices for my particular situation/needs and they were incredibly helpful and patient with me.

After spending a bit of time focusing on how I wanted my account to work for me, I was set. I use a lot of tech platforms and unlike some others, I LOVE working and being in ClickUp on a daily basis.

Oh and the mobile app is equally amazing! So no scarficing of functionality or UI there either. : )

Cons: There is no concept of a 'customer', therefore it is difficult to sync properly with CRM &/or Accounts systems. This means invoicing is completely separated from job management.

Overall: Very positive. Clickup is fast & reliable, with a a growing feature-set and help is good when & if required.

From first demo to becoming a client -- Amazing experience!

Pros: Learning and joining ClickUp was so easy. I chatted in to start and quickly received all the documentation I needed. Once starting my free trial I had everything I needed in the onboarding. When I had a few questions I spoke to customer care and they politely answered all my questions.

I enjoy the look of ClickUp and have loved it so far!

Cons: Hard to find any major cons with ClickUp at the moment. Of course there are a few wishes the could have, but still much better than everything I've tried in the past!

Overall: Great company with an even better support team.

Pros: Interface is clean and features are complete. It really allows us to focus on what needs to be done. When comparing to other similar tools we found ClickUp to work the easiest for us with the best workflow.

Cons: The native application for macOS is an Electron app which is resoruce hungry. Also when shutting down the computer it warns me if I really want to close the app and there is no way to disable the warning.

Overall: We use ClickUp as a tool to sum up tasks and lists which needs to be done. It also helps us to quickly take note of an idea which needs more attention later.

Pros: Our whole company just switched to using ClickUp from Trello. It's so much better, and keeps getting better. ClickUp is still fairly new, but each new feature surprises me and improves your experience.

You get options of list view, board view, or box view and each of my colleagues prefers a different one everyone's happy. And the information is never compromised, no matter which format you choose to look at it.

I guess the thing I like most about this software is that if you ask "I wonder if I can do this in ClickUp," the answer is probably yes. You just have to find the feature.

Cons: There isn't a lot I don't like about this software. I haven't found anything I don't like, yet! If I had to choose one, I guess I don't like their purple color for branding. But you can even change that in your settings if you want, and choose a different color.

Pros: The customizability. You can choose which features you need, and the ones you don't go away. This is invaluable in task management, so you're not constantly overwhelmed.

Cons: There's a bit of a learning curve, but it's worth it! I recommend spending some time alone with it if your the admin before you roll it out to your team. That way you have a good understanding of the way it works, and have had a chance to setup a basic structure for your company.

Overall: No more lost tasks, forgotten projects, or arguing over who was supposed to do what!

Pros: The web-based application is fantastic. Great UX & UI, easy to use and you can make as simple or complex as you need it to be. The three views (time, list, and board) are great to view what you need to do in different ways. Each task has an incredible amount of features including syncing google drive, subtasks and checklists, comments, and assigning multiple people. The reporting and time keeping feature helps me stay focused and allows me to predict how long I actually need to complete a task. I use ClickUp in my day to day sales and it's had a huge impact on my productivity.

Cons: The mobile app is the only thing that needs work. It does not have the same level of functionality as the desktop app. Once the mobile app has the same level of functionality, it will be PERFECT.

Overall: It has drastically improved my professional and personal productivity.

Pros: Theres lots to love with Clickup and i'm super impressed with the speed of their development. Here's a few things that really sold me:

- The chrome app is incredible. It provides an icon in your emails (if you use gmail) to quickly create an task with the email (and its contents) in ClickUp.

- The Chrome app also has a slick time tracking tool that connects with your tasks and projects.

- Button to quickly see all the hyperlinks you have in a conversation.

- Extensive reports

- Calendar, Kanban and list view options.

- Lots of integrations

and for Asana users this one is big: If you are a solo freelancer you can upgrade to a pro plan and just buy a single account. No minimum of 5 accounts.

Cons: I'm currently on paid pro plans for Asana and Clickup. The only thing holding me back from fully switching over to Clickup is the lack of a homepage for the tasks I want to focus on for the day. In Asana this is called the "my tasks" page . I did see that this or something similar is slated for release in Dec on the roadmap. Can't wait to see it! I'm also looking forward to timeline views and resource management - both are due for release soon I believe.

Very quick response.

Support is wonderful, the real-time chat makes getting answers and fixes very easy.

Cons: Love the product, but looking forward to the granular security.

Would also be nice if there was an excel import template. As we move more coworkers into ClickUp it does take a fair amount of time to enter every project/task into the screen.

Comments: ClickUp is a great concept for a new kind of project management tool and has a very responsive team. While they are not yet able to compete with the major players in project management, they have an aggressive development plan with weekly feature releases and a public roadmap. Keep an eye on this tool!

Pros: In addition to the basic expectations for a project management tool, ClickUp offers customizable workflows, comment assignment (turning conversation action items into tasks!), and native time tracking.

Cons: ClickUp is very new. While they have excellent plans to improve where other project management tools fall short, especially in the area of productivity management, most of these are yet to be released. In particular, ClickUp cannot currently generate reports, communication is limited to the task or subtask level, and integrations (Zapier, G Suite, etc.) is still in the future.

Pros: The design is awesome and its very easy to use. Also easy to teach! (Even for slower reps haha)

Cons: None

Overall: I'm extremely picky when it comes to software. I have tried and hated every PM tool on the market. Very happy I was chosen as a BETA member for ClickUp. Any developer will love this tool, mainly because I feel it is created for developers. Easy to use and even easier to track progress. Do yourself a favor and get a free trial!

Pros: I like how responsive the team is and open to any suggestions. They truly listen to their clients and work hard to get done what is asked.

The tool itself is also great. Its easy to grasp and has a lot of features!

Cons: They are a few things I'm waiting on still, but I'm willing to be patient here. I've watched them create many features since early this year, so I'm confident they will continue.

Overall: A tool that listens to me and works hard to improve.

Pros: Everything! But really, there are a ton of little touches that make it really easy to use. The robustness of the filtering on tasks lists, *plus* ready-made tabs for common filters (like assignee), *plus* the ability to save your own filters, is one example. Other things like reversing task status sorting and being able to start weeks on Monday in calendar view are also great. And this is in addition to everything you'd normally expect of good task management software!

Cons: I'd like to be able to use the mobile app for both my work account and the personal account I created for managing my personal life because I liked it so much. :) Better visualization of task dependency would also be cool, but I've never seen a task management app do this well, so I can't really complain.

Pros: Definetly a great product, and with a great team behind. They really listen in order to continue to grow their base features. It's a great and powerful management software that makes it easy to stay focused on what needs to be done.

Cons: So far so good. We found a few glitches at some point, but they were corrected with new releases. Perhaps one feature that could be further improved is user management and dealing with former employees' records.

Pros: ClickUp combines just about everything I want in a productivity tool. It has the features I love from Asana and Trello all rolled in to one! The list of features keeps getting increased incredibly fast and the ClickUp team are incredibly responsive to suggestions and implement the best ridiculously fast! They actually seem to really care about what their users want and implement them. The support is also unbelievably responsive and helpful.

Cons: The downside is that there is so many possibilities that it can feel a little overwhelming to start with and I'm still learning how to use it to it's full potential! I'm also a little frustrated that the app still doesn't allow you to see checklists or work offline, but have been assured that it is in progress and will be added soon...

Pros: ClickUp has a very intuitive interface with features that are designed to make it the only tool you'll ever need for project or task management. Apart from that, I also use it for process management and documentation. It has invariably made my life much easier as I don't have to juggle between 3-5 tools anymore to complete basic tasks and keep my work life organized.

Cons: The only drawback I found in this was the absence of Gantt charts but they're working on bringing that to ClickUp very soon.

Overall: I use ClickUp for project, team, and process management. I create tasks for each of the processes and bundle it in projects. Then I just have to copy the project for each of my clients and start working on the tasks. It has helped me save a lot of time and energy. There is a lot less stress in my life now because of how organized my work is.

Pros: The flexibility, I've tried other tools before and always something was missing. With ClickUp I felt form the one that this is exactly what I needed. It has a ton of built in features that doesn't cost an extra cent, like time tracking, notepad, integration with Slack is great, custom fields can turn it almost into a CRM tool. Support is great, the team is also constantly adding new features and very attentive to users requests.

Cons: Some features take longer to introduce than I'd like. with this huge number of features it takes time to get familiar with the software (not really a disadvantage). Overall, not much to dislike.

Overall: if you manage different types of projects it can be tailored with different flows for each type. Overall, it feels like the most complete tool and it's still evolving!

Pros: We're using the paid version of ClickUp so we can access custom fields and unlimited storage. These two features make an already incredibly versatile project management software go to eleven. We run our entire agency from ClickUp and love the ability to shape it into anything we need.

Cons: ClickUp is constantly rolling out feature updates, so I'm confident that they'll address any of the tiny things that I dislike... right now, my only real issue is with checking off or changing the due date of subtasks. I feel like it should be easier to accomplish, but instead it takes 2-3 clicks.

Overall: We're using ClickUp to stay organized with our clients. Our workers are assigned tasks and we can leave comment related to progress or questions. It's the central nervous system of our digital marketing agency.

Pros: ClickUp has more features than I can even keep track of, it can do just about anything our staff need. And they keep bringing out new features on an almost weekly basis!

Cons: Mobile/iPad App could maybe have a bit more functionality

Overall: ClickUp is allowing our team to effectively collaborate on tasks, share notes, and keep track of recurring tasks.

Pros: Great tool and hard to beat the price! I just joined for via a Cyber Monday Discount. I highly suggest this tool for anyone :)

Cons: Missing Gantt Charts. I hope to see this feature added soon, patiently waiting until then. Other than that everything works well for me!

Overall: A tool that helps me keep my team organized. It also didn't break the bank!

Pros: Really cool unique features here. Assign comments to people (subtasks) and edit images directly within the web app. Even assign subtasks on images!

Cons: No internal chat

Overall: ClickUp is the first management platform designed for modern project management. Exceptional design and professional features in a sleek, reliable frame. As part of my frontend web design team, let me just tell you that all of us were VERY reluctant to try ClickUp. We were already busy and didn't want to commit MORE time to another project management tool. Little did we know how smooth the onboarding would be. The intuitive layout really makes adoption a non-issue. Now there is no way we would go back to the days before ClickUp. You should at least sign up for the free version

Recommendations to other buyers: Start with that free version to be sure you like it

Pros: I love the features they have and what else their building. Love seeing the roadmap and watching new features added each week.

Cons: They have a lot of cool things that would be awesome to have reporting on. There isn't any reporting in the tool currenly.

Overall: More features and better customer service than I had previously.

Pros: This product does it all!

Excellent for personal and teams, excellent reminders, we have a way to change views as we need and the customer support is something I've never seen before.

Cons: I think that the UI can be a bit better and it the app sometimes is a bit slow but nothing that is so important.

After a while you get used to the UI and the responsiveness of the app is tolerable.

Overall: We wanted a good task and project management tool with good reminders and option to clip web pages and email.

Now we have everything in one place.

We can communicate flawlessly with each other, we can clip emails for future reference and I can even clip web pages for research.

I'm so, so happy that I found Clickup.

Pros: This company is constantly improving their software and including vital aspects that make project management so much easier. The support team is unlike anything I have ever seen before. They not only handle immediate requests great they can even handle on going reminders when you asked them to keep you informed of certain things. Even though I get the update emails their team continue to send me personal emails when specifically requested improvements were coming out. Amazing. Unheard of in today's can't even reach a person or maybe you can if you go through all these options but then again it's just a chat or a number either way you will wait and maybe not even get the answer you were looking for world.

Cons: Due to the variety of things the system does it takes a little while to enter all information. Keyboard shortcuts could really help the system out. I know they did work on some and launch them but it wasn't as much control as I was hoping for.

Pros: I love the level of control that is provided by ClickUp. I have used other project and task management tools, but this has been my best experience. More options usually complicates the system, but ClickUp provides them in a very intuitive manner making them a boon rather than an unwanted complication.

Cons: The emails are great but the number of emails that are sent might make them a slight annoyance and I am sure I have missed important communication from ClickUp due to this.

Overall: ClickUp helps me keep track of all the projects and the tasks within them. We also use ClickUp to account for the time spent on each project and thus the cost associated with them.

Pros: If you have worked with asana, you will realize that has the same features and some more, like any time switch from lists to boards, customized tasks status, easier visualizations of projects, and constant implementations of new features, almost every week there is a new feature and it is almost 50% of asana's price. Free forever if you don't need to attach more than 100 MB

Cons: it takes some time to get used to the interface, not that easy to understand how to find projects , how to switch between spaces. The concept of spaces is very useful, but you need to play around a bit to fully feel comfortable

Pros: Super friendly support who have a sense of humour and aren't reading from a script, their features are beautifully crafted, bug fixing is done in no time flat, it's simple to use and navigate thanks to a hierarchy approach of getting around, the pricing is unbelievably cheap for the quality - shall I continue?

Cons: They don't have BitBucket integration, calendar sync or recurring tasks HOWEVER all will be available within 2-3 weeks.

Overall: It has single handedly made me productive. I'm a stay-at-home dad and business owner so clarity and order are what I need to ensure I do the best job I can for my family and clients. ClickUp has made my life ordered and simple to manage.

Pros: ClickUp is super-flexible when it comes to how you lay out your project, making it an incredibly useful tool. Their customer support is also top-notch. They respond to customers, work fast and are constantly upgrading.

Cons: Currently, you can't have anyone see tasks outside of your paid team. That should be updated "soon," but it has deterred me from a couple of projects.

Overall: Task organization in ClickUp has been a huge benefit for me. I also work closely with people who don't work on-campus. This is a major tool in laying out our projects. I kept running into all these unique projects and other Task Management Systems were too restrictive.

Pros: The platform is great for handling various projects in a single client, various clients with single projects, and projects with dozens of subtasks.

Cons: The platform is very simple to use. But since it has a lot of features, and the developer always adds new ones each month, it's hard to keep up. But that's not a dislike. Maybe a short "how to" video should be released with every new feature.

Overall: We save a lot of time working with project management.

Pros: 1) Able to categorize every single task thoruoughly

2) Allows you to disect big tasks into subtasks

3) We were able to easily deploy the tool across every department in our company (Marketing, Sales, Development)

Cons: 1) Missing detailed reporting, but after a breif conversation with their friendly customer service representative, it seems like they're working on it for the next release.

2) Gantt Charts are a big thing for us, but i heard that they're releasing that feature in their next update as well at the end of August.

Overall: Unionize our company and keeping everyone on the same page.
