Pros: At first I thought that the product would be great because based on their marketing materials they offer a lot of features that other project management software didn't have. Upon trying it I would agree that that is the case. The ability to have different status codes for different projects is a great feature to have because our developers like to use an Agile format as opposed to our customer service team which has something more simple.

Cons: Customer Service- They say on their marketing page that they have the best customer service AND they are available 24 hours. Clearly not the case.

Seriously, flexibility can be a problem when you really really want (need) structure.

Pros: I love the look of this application. I really want(ed) to fall in love with it. This is a beautiful piece of software, the GUI is very modern and easy to look at. There are many ways to use this software (which is actually a drawback).

Cons: I so want to love this application however, it is extremely non-intuitive and in some places counter-intuitive. Getting started is difficult because, to begin with, you have to start learning new terms like "spaces". Why are there "lists" where there doesn't need to be? And the one that I've personally complained about is the counterintuitive way of putting the current comments (of a task) at the BOTTOM of the stack. Like Trello this has flexibility but flexibility can be a problem when you really really want (need) structure. Getting your team to use any project or task manager online or otherwise is difficult with people being generally averse to using project/task managers. But this would be a nightmare to get a team to use because you'd be constantly trying to answer questions on how to use it when it's so confusing.

Comments: ClickUp is a great concept for a new kind of project management tool and has a very responsive team. While they are not yet able to compete with the major players in project management, they have an aggressive development plan with weekly feature releases and a public roadmap. Keep an eye on this tool!

Pros: In addition to the basic expectations for a project management tool, ClickUp offers customizable workflows, comment assignment (turning conversation action items into tasks!), and native time tracking.

Cons: ClickUp is very new. While they have excellent plans to improve where other project management tools fall short, especially in the area of productivity management, most of these are yet to be released. In particular, ClickUp cannot currently generate reports, communication is limited to the task or subtask level, and integrations (Zapier, G Suite, etc.) is still in the future.

Pros: ClickUp is easy to set up and use, even if it isn't the best solution for my line of work.

Cons: ClickUp just doesn't allow me to view my tasks the way I'd like to. I am a writer and I live and die by an editorial calendar. ClickUp just doesn't have a good calendar view that allows me to easily identify my assignments, their due dates, and their current status. I've found that creating a workflow with multiple people an any given task is unnecessarily obtuse. Also, by default the software spams your email with tons of notifications, and you will need to learn how to turn them off.

Overall: Overall, it is probably a good workflow manager for some organizations. My company uses it but my department largely ignores it in favor of a provider that offers a much more organized view of what's coming up, what's past due, etc.

Pros: ClickUp es a project management software with which you can structure a project according to the teams that will work on it and the tasks that must be done to complete that project.

Its purpose is that you can keep the tasks organized. In order to do that you have different ways of structuring the information: spaces, teams, projects, lists and tasks. This hierarchy allows to have a global vision of the project as well as the detail of each one of the tasks and the people involved. You can also filter the searches according to your needs.

I think it has many features to customize the workflow, so it is very useful to maintain teamwork.

Cons: I don't totally disagree with the use of this program, although it is easy to use it has so many forms of hierarchy that it forces me to do many clicks to see the content I want. I prefer more simple and functional programs.

Overall: Organized workflow

Pros: My favorite part of the software is the project and task statuses. You can easily customize your project workflow by adjusting how you categorize your specific phases for a project. Typically in other project management softwares the task is either assigned or completed. With ClickUp I can customize the different steps I would like to take each task through for a project type. ClickUp also has a really intuitive functionality when it comes to separating different workspaces. I work with many different types of industries, and I like to separate them completely in my mind. Thankfully they are still only one click away with ClickUp just incase I need them.

Cons: The User Interface feels minimal to the point that I sometimes don't know what I'm supposed to focus on while using. There are some experience issues such as slightly overcomplicating how to create a project or task. Overall, these things can be overcome with a bit of learning and time. I think it's worth it to stick it out with this software.

Overall: This software helps me to stay organized with multiple different projects going on at one time. It's great for the solo-preneur who wants to store project information in a centralized location. Can take some getting used to for those not use to project management.

Pros: I love the way it looks. Its easy on the eye.

It has a pretty good workflow, but still gives you the freedom to organise things in personal preference.

Very customizable and affordable.

Cons: It takes some getting used to, but once you work out your own personal workflow it is great.

I would love it if I could copy and paste a spreadsheet in there, but I think this feature is coming.

Also, it really needs a built-in spell check too...

Overall: I am a designer who can't get a job in design. So, as a result, I am pushed to be a bit of a 'solopreneur'. I decided to work on my own projects and realised after 6 months of ad-hoc work, I needed to get my a** in gear & get better organised. I found this software and have stuck with it since. My initial choice was purely based on the visual aesthetics, a lot of software is pretty dull and lifeless and this seemed to stimulate me to want to use it. So far I have found it pretty good to deal with, and the notifications keep me motivated and on top of my daily tasks. I am only ussing the free version at the moment and its more than enough, the paid version would be better, as it would be good to take screenshots and paste them. However you can get by pretty easy just with the standard free version, if you are looking to cut costs until your business expands.

Pros: I like the way the software can be adopted to personal use, group use or any combination of the above. You also get options for turning on and off features that you might not use, making the ui a lot less cluttered. I like the many ways I can view, structure and interact with any project or task, it feels like there is always a view tailored to the type of project I'm working with.

The support is quick and personal, and I really enjoy the ability to vote on features to be implemented in upcoming releases of the software. It makes the service feel more crowd-driven.

Cons: The only two gripes I had with the software was the slow response when interacting with it, and that there was no gantt view. However, both of these issues have already been fixed, so at the moment I can't really complain

Overall: I use click up for personal use as a task-/project manager for university and my own business. I've got a million things going on at any given time, so relying on such a powerful project manager to keep track of every deadline, every assignment and task really saves me from a lot of headache.

Pros: ClickUp is easy to use even for non-techy people. Projects created in ClickUp will be well organized. Users will always know what to be done and no more missing tasks. The UI is clean, simple and visual. Most of the basic features required for a project management tool is there (or going to be, or being finetuned).

Supporting is great. ClickUp team is always there to help even for free plan users.

Developement team is working hard. ClickUp is updated so often to keep the app run smooth and has the most productive features. Great things are just coming soon.

Cons: ClickUp is new, so it will lack many things: intergration to popular services, admin control, advanced features like custom field, automation... Those stuffs are being developed so users have to wait at the meantime.

The performance is no so good. ClickUp runs slow on all the flatform.

The free plans doesn't mean so much compare to Trello free plans. ClickUp free plans give only 100MB which will run out in second for any team that have attachments. For the entire build, ClickUp should set users free on storage and strict them on feature sets which is still quite basic entirely.

Overall: We're doing retail store. We manage our orders with ClickUp and it helps much on tracking order states, storing customer information, assigning tasks... ClickUp helps us keep track of everything and that helps sastify our customers.

Pros: I like that it has the clickapp ability to turn on or off the features that you want. I have users that are not tech savvy and too many buttons and widgets just scare them. I hope they keep this going. Secondly the customer service has been top notch. I've been able to just chat directly with them instead of long, drawn out e-mails, and their documentation and roadmap are super helpful. You can tell that they really want to listen to the customer and deliver what they need.

Cons: The notification system right now are a non-starter with my company for general use. They have an update coming out soon (+1 of the roadmap!!) that I hope will change all of that. Also they are getting more and more features, while it may be helpful, can clutter up the UI for the non-technical users. I would like to see a stronger stance on the clickapp part of the turn off/on features so I can keep it as simple as possible for my users.

Overall: We can use this to reduce downtime in our workflow through engineering and through any projects we have going. We can answer questions about status definitively and make sure that everyone knows who is supposed to be doing what.

Pros: You can assign tasks to your team members and you can install it in your mobile phones. You can get notifications from your mobile and being able to make comments upon each task. You can invite unlimited team members during trial which does not expire. Its not that expensive compared to other competitors. It has sub-tasks, and you can let others in the team be assigned as watchers too.

Cons: Its a little complex to start with compared to others but youll get the hang of it in no time. Im looking for something like a "wall" feature like facebook wall. There is no "Me" functionality in the mobile app where you can see immediately tasks that are assigned to you. unlike the desktop version. You need to go to notifications to see updates/comments.

Pros: My team used Clickup as a project management tool for instructional designers creating new online courses. The interface and collaboration tools were incredibly intuitive and relatively powerful. It provided an excellent structure to track complex projects, and for bringing in teams of people to work on such projects. Support has been incredibly responsive and eager to implement our suggestions.

Cons: Clickup is still in early development as I write this, so a number of features that would take this product to the next level are currently missing, such as integration with a scrum/Agile model. New tools seem to be coming, but at the moment the product is still in very early stages.

Pros: Excellent value for money. The free option is almost too good as I'm sure we could have stayed there and managed but I paid for the upgrade mainly to show my support plus open up the ability for attachments. The support is really good. They actually answer questions as if you matter and requests are implemented quickly.

Cons: When I have a project selected and use the Create Task quick link, it would be good if the software recognised the fact I was already in a project as opposed to making me select which project this referred to.

Overall: Project, task and time management under 'one roof' so great for teams of all sizes. Being cloud-based and with an app to support it, ideal for remote workers as well.

Pros: ClickUp is just easy to use. I've used massive project management software in the past, but they were overkill for my small business. I had to get away from trying to use the most powerful tools, and use tools that helped me just get the job done quickly. ClickUp does that. It does have a lot of features and is extremely robust in terms of project organization. But it doesn't get in the way.

Cons: I wish you could customize the interface a little more. I would love to have a page where I can view all projects at once with their appropriate lists, but right now, it's a bit tricky as it only shows a long list of tasks for each project instead of separated into lists. Also, the coloring of the interface doesn't give enough contrast for some parts of the list. So things can run together.

Overall: Overall, I'm very happy. I've spent less time fiddling with extra settings and assigning tasks to different tags and users. ClickUp is easy to set up projects and task lists and much more, and adding tasks to a calendar through drag and drop is very very slick.

Very innovative in their thinking and development.

Pros: Customer service and their candid responses to clients and prospects. Their proprietary additions to project management add a well overdue fresh light to the SAAS PM platform world. They aren't just cookie cutting pieces from other platforms.

Cons: Still a little early on in their build out, but an impressive roadmap and so far they are delivering on it at an amazing pace without sacrificing their core vision for shaking up this industry.

Overall: To be fully transparent, I have not fully implemented it with my team yet. A few key features I'm holding on before making it our tool, but nothing in the past 5 months has pushed me to look in any other direction, and I've looked and experimented for the last decade.

Pros: There are a lot of tools out there that claim to give you the flexibility you need to manage work your way. When you get into it though, they seem to guide you down a certain path that may or may not work for you. ClickUp is very flexible, and getting more flexible with each release. They seem to be on a 2 week release cycle currently, and each one brings some type of significant improvement. They also really listen and respond to their users' feedback.

Cons: The one area that is not flexible (yet) is the project - list - task - subtask hierarchy. I think there's a plan to allow more flexibility in this area, but for now I'm sort of stuck with a few useless lists that don't really add anything. It's an inconvenience though, and I'm confident that this will be addressed in future releases.

Overall: This is a good company that is really trying to be a solid app for task and project management. Their pricing is affordable, and they have something for both teams and individual users.

Pros: The Spaces. Projects, Lists, Tasks structure can look like a big constrained tree. But instead, it's a very flexible an manageable graph. It really helps in my case, where our process changes almost every month to support new experiments and business realities.

Cons: It's kinda slow, and it gets stuck sometimes. This could be an issue if more the one person is looking at the same tasks. Specially for remote teams.

Overall: Overall it has been great. We've managed to create a very good process that has helped the team to progress and track it.

Pros: Extremely flexible, they made it in a way it allows you to obtain almost everything from spaces, projects and lists .

Cons: Recurring tasks something goes wrong; you can´t see the future recurring tasks on time view (allowing block agenda); gantt chart view is new, I couldn´t use it well yet; the android version lacks some good functionalityes; the wheel mouse don´t roll the page on windows app; I´d like to see a view with collor patterns (a expersiver competitor has it, it´s very intuitive to see the work done, and what´s not); even when I disable me as a watcher on a specific task, I still receive notifications; it seems the program is a good task manager, but I´m not comfortable to use it as a project manager;

Overall: It´s the best solution i tried until now, but it lacks some functionalities the competitores already has. But they have a terrific customer support, and the´re all the time improving the tool.

Cons: There's a downside of changing things a lot. The product you sign up for now will be different 6 months from now. If you like the changes, great. if not, you're stuck with it after you've already invested time in it.

Overall: ClickUp seems like it's free from the chains of more old school project management systems. They really do constantly add features and change things around. Mostly for the better. But that said, it's still easy for me to miss tasks. Some features are clunky and difficult to navigate. I like it, and it's approachable. But it has a ways to go still.

Pros: We previously used a program built by an internal team that was very limiting. Although I am new to using ClickUp, I am loving it so far. It's especially easy to use once you have set up some templates. Great for repeat tasks and new promotions and projects alike.

Cons: Still learning the software and my team are all at different levels. Does take some time to get used to and I feel as if we have only scratched the surface.

Overall: It is much easier to track my teams workload as they can add additional one-off and projects to ClickUp[ as well. We did not have that in our previous system.

Pros: ClickUp was super customizable, and would work for all sorts of teams.

Cons: While it was very customizable, it was in it's own way. I seemed to do everything mediocrle instead of 1 thing excilently. For instance, we run an agile scrum development shop, and it would not work for our agile development because it doesn't support scheduled sprints.

It is a very modern and useful tool that supports crativity of the students and allows the interaction between them. Collaboration can be accomblish in multiple ways. The contemporary learning theories may be apply easily and effectivly throught out this

Comments: Generally it is an easy to use task manager, project manager and goal set up software project manager and an effici goal set up software

Pros: Easy to use. Very functional. Allows multiple integrations. Easy to set goals and to keep tracking. Easy sharing and interaction tracking

Cons: You cannot play with colors, fonts and sizes in order to personalize the interface and the notifications are very destructive!

Pros: Has a nice dashboard and calendar view to show all your tasks and separate the ones you are currently working on, from the ones coming up. You can easily organize by teams and having your unscheduled tasks in the sidebar is useful. You can also easily filter by tags, due date, assignee, project type, etc.

Cons: Too many pop-ups. Switching between views seems to trigger a pop-up asking if you'd like to add a task and can get annoying.

Overall: I've used ClickUp and Asana and found them both to be very similar and great tools to keep organized.

Pros: How transparent the company has been about their roadmap and upcoming features. Not many companies will do that. It is also very feature rich and they listen to their customers closely.

Cons: The overall speed/responsiveness of the app is something that really needs to improve as well as their mobile apps. This is an area where their competitors are very much ahead. Having said that, ClickUp has said this is something they are working on for the next month or so. If this is true, it will make it an almost perfect PM tool.

Pros: Easy to get up and running.

Flexible.

Responsive.

New features.

Cons: A couple pages take longer to load then I'd like (reports, gantt chart) but as of now I don't use them too frequently so it's ok. In the future it may become a problem.

A _do_ wish there were a little more in the way of bulk updating. Somethings can be updated in a bulk way others can't.

Overall: Love it! I've used a ton of tools and this one is bar far the best!! I absolutely love the new Goals feature that just came out and have already implemented it in our organization after just one day!

Pros: I like that I had the same functionality as I did in Asana, PLUS features that only the premium version of Asana offered. The import functionality worked flawlessly, and I have yet to encounter anything that I need to do, but can't.

Cons: I do miss the option to view my project related lists horizontally like in Asana. I'm still adjusting to only having the vertical view.

Overall: I switched from Asana and have never looked back. Based on my suggestions, ClickUp is now the preferred PM tool of my department.

Pros: I love the ease of use of this product. It is so easy to create projects and tasks. I love that you can easily add people to asks. The filter system is great too! Love the screenshot/make a task feature and the chrome extension.

Cons: I don't like that you have to install the extension to make the logging time function work. I also don't like that you have to add the log time column separately, it should be a default on the dashboard.

Overall: Love it! A much better alternative to Zoho.

Pros: Great looking tool and has everything I need. My team enjoys using it and its easy for me to track how other teammates are doing.

Cons: I was a little confused at how to use the tool overall at first. My only message would be for them to perfect the on-boarding a little more while in Beta.

Overall: I'm a Beta user of ClickUp and a fan so far. It took me some time to learn but I'm getting more comfortable with it each day. It seems to have most everything and the app works really well. Once ClickUp improves their on-boarding they will be set.

Recommendations to other buyers: Give the Beta a try!

Pros: The design is hard to beat. I've tried almost every PM software and ClickUp looks great. They also have some really cool new features I haven't seen elsewhere.

Big fan of how responsive they are. Extremely friendly and always respond to me in no time. You can email call or even text their customer service reps.

Cons: They just simply don't have everything I need at the moment. I see most everything on their roadmap so I'll try to hold out for everything to be built.

Pros: What I like most is the ability to assign individuals tasks and due dates. Then within those tasks I can add reading material and other sources. Everything is in one simple place.

Cons: My least favorite thing about the software is the design. I think it could be made to look a little more classy/business savvy. Honestly though, it isn't bad; just something that I would change.

Pros: The UI and overall look and feel. Its nice to see a product management tool that actually looks like it was made in 2017 and not 1990 like most of the others.

Cons: ClickUp was a little confusing at first. Their overall structure of teams groups and tasks was confusing when first logging in, but makes much more sense after getting some help from the CS team.

Overall: A new way to organize my day and assign tasks.

Pros: We have been using the tool for about half a year for testing purposes in our startup and will soon be switching to it completely. ClickUp provides a really huge range of functions at what I think is an unbeatable price. New features are added on a regular basis and the mobile app also works smoothly up to now.

Cons: Automations of tasks (deadlines, assignments etc.) would be really nice to have. However, the developers are very diligent and communicate their progress and planned new features continuously. It is to be hoped that this gap will be closed soon. Further, it would be nice to be able to adapt the design and the functions a bit more to your own needs.

Pros: -Great look and feel to the product.

-Useful and easy to understand

-VERY nice customer service team

Cons: -Needs more features and integrations

-Want to give some more established tools a try before making a decision

Overall: My team is growing and tasking them with email is not working at all anymore. I've been trying my options here and think ClickUp is a solid tool. I still feel safer going with some more established products that I've heard of before. That being said I can see why they are rated high on many sites. The tool is clean looking and they have an amazing customer support team.

Pros: ClickUp was cheaper and less complex than a number of task management tools we looked at, both pros for a small team. The interface was relatively user-friendly and clean, and offered all the basic functionality we needed. In the end we ended up going with a different solution, but we all liked how affordable and useful ClickUp was.

Cons: There might be a bit of an initial learning curve for people who have never used anything similar, and more integrations would be helpful!

Pros: I like that all of the conversations relating to a project can be found in one place. This way everyone on the team can see exactly what is going on at any point. There's no more confusion about who is doing what or what is happening because it can be found in one place.

Cons: Despite the brief tutorial they give you in the beginning, and maybe it's just my lack of experience with ClickUp, but I found trying to use all of the features in the beginning a little bit confusing. Although, I do believe the features, such as assigning tasks, are very useful.
