ClickUp streamlined our dev workflow by keeping docs, bug tracking, and sprint tasks synced. It reduced administrative overhead and improved team alignment.

Pros

Git integration links PRs directly to tasks, automating status updates. Kanban boards and Docs simplify sprint tracking and API specs in one place.

Cons

Occasional UI latency when loading large sprint boards. Search performance can slow down significantly when querying deeply nested task hierarchies.

Overall I appreciate what they are trying to accomplish. It worked great for the the projects I was working on with a client.

Pros

I liked the integration between project management and communication. Doing team video huddles worked great when needing to collaborate.

Cons

There's so much running in the background that it would run quite slow or wouldn't pull up documents as quickly as it could have. It felt like it was buffering a lot.

Overall, ClickUp has been a strong project management and collaboration tool for our team. We use it primarily to organize projects, assign responsibilities, establish deadlines, and track progress. Once the workspace and workflows are properly configured, it provides a clear overview of what everyone is working on and helps reduce unnecessary follow-ups. The platform is very capable, but keeping the setup simple is important if you want strong adoption across the team.

Pros

The biggest advantage is how much you can manage from one platform. Tasks, projects, deadlines, documentation, and team responsibilities can all be centralized, which gives us much better visibility across ongoing projects.

Cons

There is definitely a learning curve. Because ClickUp offers so many features and customization options, the interface can feel overwhelming at first. It also takes some time to build workflows that are simple enough for the entire team to actually use consistently.

Pros

I like how much you can manage in one place. Tasks, deadlines, owners, comments, and project updates can all stay together, which makes it easier to keep track of what’s going on. The different views are also useful depending on how you like to organize your work.

Cons

There are almost too many options sometimes. A simple project can end up with a lot of fields, views, and settings if you’re not careful. It takes a little time to figure out which features you actually need.

It does what we need for managing our sales pipeline across six reps. Better than the spreadsheets we used before. Wish it was simpler to configure without technical help. The price is fair for a company our size, and it keeps everyone accountable on deal progress.

Pros

We track our B2B deals and distributor orders right here. With the custom fields, I can see exactly where each account stands, whether a proposal’s been sent, samples are out, or we’re in contract negotiations. My team handles updating the pipeline stages on their own, so I’m not constantly chasing them down. The dashboard breaks down our monthly targets versus actual closes, it’s a big help when I’m on those forecast calls with the CEO.

Cons

Too many features we don't touch - half the buttons just clutter things up. Setting up automation for our sales process took our IT guy three days because the logic isn't obvious. Mobile app is slow when I'm checking deal status between client meetings. Notifications can be overwhelming.

Very good, I like it a lot and it makes my role so much better and easier to manage. I am grateful for a tool that makes my work easier.

Pros

All projects, tasks and calendar in ONE spot. It's the tool for agencies, project managers, and creators. There is nothing like it.

Cons

It sometimes can feel a little bloated. Like the amount of features get stacked on top of each other and the software becomes overwhelming

Still a very first choice when matched against other PM softwares. for the cost, it's great for small -mid-sized orgs.

Pros

A lot has changed in the platform, and only for the better. The devs do a great job at addressing feature requests by the community and have implemented a ton of long-asked-for functions.

Cons

it still tends to lock up occasionally. Compared to others like Active Collab and Monday, it can be a little slow when handling requests.
