With ClickUp, scheduling tasks for a specific period has become very easy, and sharing updates and asking for help is done quickly. Add to that the organizational features that we had, especially concerning saving and sharing files and documents, as well as preparing reports and dashboards.

Pros

I like ClickUp's notification system, as it keeps us in constant contact with all updates and requests, and it's great that notifications arrive in real-time via the mobile application. It's also great that I can always notify colleagues in the same way when new tasks, documents, or any updates are added. I also like the way the tasks entered into the lists are grouped by all members, and it's great how ClickUp provides a simple way to customize the lists as needed and provides many ways to display them, as well as the Gantt chart to display an integrated workflow diagram, so that we can clarify the relationships between the tasks. The tasks are visualized to make it easier for all members to follow up and make updates. Scheduling and automation are very efficient and enable us to find the effect of progress on closing dates. I also like that ClickUp provides a lot of functionality in one place, provides powerful communication tools, and allows us to share files and collaborate on the completion of reports and dashboards. It's also great that ClickUp integrates strongly with most of our applications, where we can import data and set up amazing dashboards.

Cons

The negatives are not many, especially with the new upgrades, and it is great how much ClickUp always interacts with users and constantly provides them with the latest updates accompanied by distinctive instructional videos.

Sadly, it would not be my main tool to go for project management. My main reason for using it is that some clients are tied for that tool and you can't move them to another tool. It's enough for doing the job, but just barely, the usage could be a lot more intuitive and some view needs to be included.

Pros

Easy to set up and get the project 'imported'. The free tier of tools that provide you are enough to get the job done, you will have enough tools to get insights about the project's progress and the team's pending tasks.

Cons

I didn't find many necessary 'scrum' specific views to get the most out of the planning and progress perspective. Other tools provide multiple views like roadmaps, capacity, and burndowns views that give really impactful information to the team management. Also, is it not the most intuitive tool to have a first-glance view of the project's progress?

### "Great for Tasks, but not for communications"

Overall, it has been a welcome addition to our team. It's a cohesive and transparent place for team members to keep their task lists.

Pros

The multi-tiered task management is fantastic. The built-in Docs feature is great for taking notes where you can tag specific tasks. (We use this for staff meetings.)

Cons

With Chat view, I was really hoping this could be a Slack alternative, but those views are too siloed and hard to navigate too. If the chat view isn't as easy to reach as sending a text, then no one's going to think to use it. It's also a bit slow to load, both on desktop and mobile (and in-browser too).

### "Many features and tools, all in one place"

I tried many similar tools and I've decided to stick to ClickUp because it's easy to use, has many features and they have a great, very responsive support team.

Pros

It lets me manage almost everything in one place. I use it for different use cases and it works great with some initial configuration.

Cons

I think the dashboard module could be much better. Let me import and integrate data from other sources, need more design options, including basic ones like titles.

### "More Bang for The Buck for Individuals or Teams"

As I've gotten used to the program, I'm starting to use it for more things so I'm dealing with fewer programs. I really like the improvements made to the Template center and workflow automations.

Pros

Using the sidebar widget, I can easily capture an idea, screen snap, web page, or task. I don't run the risk of losing an idea or good content. I can then come back and review items and decide what needs to be done or deferred.

Cons

Initially, I felt overwhelmed, especially as the company was making continual updates. However, many of these improvements allow the system to be more flexible.

It us very easy to use, uploading pictures or docyluments is easy and a phone app is also available. What makes is very easy to upload new actions without the need of a desk computer.

Cons

The initial settings takes a lot of time. This is a bit user unfriendly.

One caution, the power can be consuming. The ability to customize the workflow has in itself become overwhelming and you could find yourself down a rabbit hole of rearranging views of the data. Change is good but constant change can cause confusion. I believe any size organization can use the power of ClickUp to manage a wide range of projects. As our company grows we have found it a necessary tool to keep track of the multitude of tasks that need to be accomplished in a week. Expect to take some time to make ClickUp work for your team. The setup is easy. The customization will take some time to get right.

Pros

ClickUp allows for any workflow that fits your team and makes it easy to rinse and repeat that workflow over and over. On the upper plans, your individual team members can also save personal views that work for them. This level of personalization allows people of different personalities to work their own way to accomplish the same project. The new email system has been a game-changer for our team. Now everyone can see the communication with our clients within the project.

Cons

While the templating system is a time saver there is no option to retroactively update an applied template when making changes. So changes that you make to a templated project can only be applied to future projects. I think personal views should be available on lower-cost plans.

ClickUp allows each member of the organization to set their own priorities, with the addition of specific dates for their completion, and then, through the cooperation of all team members, the tasks will be followed up and cooperation will be strengthened to complete them. Pros

Things which I like about ClickUp are:- 1) There is no alternative of ClickUp with respect to Features and Pricing. 2) TimeTracking ( which is a paid feature in other softwares like:- Asana, is freely available) 3) We can Hide Projects from other teammates ( even if we are on the free version of it) 4) The FREE Version of ClickUp is beating the Paid Version of so many other similar softwares. 5) Direct integration with the 3-rd Party tools wothout the use of Zapier, Integromat, IFTTT, Zoho Flow, Microsoft Flow, Integrately, Pabble Connect etc.

Cons

Nothing is missing in ClickUp but continuous evalutaion and development for making it even more better is always needed. ClickUp is one of it's kind in the market now adays.

ClickUp is one app to replace all of them. I especially love the fact that in just a few clicks, ClickUp is all set for use. Also it has a remarkably efficient and uncomplicated UI that gives me a user experience like no other since it is easy to manouvre and utilize all it's features. ClickUp comes loaded with benefits for any sort of workspace. With ClickUp it is easy to manage tasks, workstreams and even appointments. It is highly customizable with templates and widgets that allows me to make entries in a dashboard that look just exactly how I like it. I am able to have a bird's eye view on all my tasks from where I can group and sort them to create a priority list. Also with ClickUp, collaboration is smooth like never before. As a team at The Brain Initiative we are able to allocate shifts and view who is working at what time, We are able to catch up asap on chats or even through direct emails and documents sending which makes service delivery an easy joint efforts. Also realtime reportings and time trackings are soo useful to us. Time taken to attend to each patient is of importance to ensure that all are attended to before end of shifts.We can easily identify all drugs administered to patients for restock through all appointment infor

Clickup is very efficient in managing the workflow of projects, it also keeps project documents at place to be viewed in team. It consist of sprint wise flow management which is very helpful in agile models. And It also gives best insights of task in form of all kinds of graph

No such cons, but mobile app is not given functionality to manage timers, In case you miss to start/ stop timer, only web based interface can be used for it.

I hope they will keep on making it better, I want to see this app thrive, and as my business grow, I am interested to join more advanced plan.

Pros

I tried Monday, Quora, Trello, and Asana, I was going to paid for Asana and I asked a few photogrpaher friends. Someone suggested ClickUp. The name sounds too basic for me I thought, but then I realised it’s very similar to Asana, but easier to see everything. For someone who is dyslexic and easily get lost in a sea of words, Clickup’s layout helps me to keep multiple projects organised. My challenge of finding the right organisational app is that I am doing the sales and marketing, social media, providing the service and getting the money from clients. I need an app that allows me see different layers of project and be able to put them into calendar EASILY. It will list out tasks that don’t have a due date yet. You can put the starting date, due date and estimated time. What I need most is goal setting, it has multi style goals you can set. This is a paid service on Asana. This app although has some minor problems, but it’s just mild inconveniences. I love how they sneakily look at other apps and what they are doing right and what they are lacking. I feel like other apps are just shutting their eyes and designing something that they love. This app is simple to use, as an artist and a small business owner, this app helps me to feel in control of a mountain of minor tasks.

Cons

Calendar is my least impressed function. It’s so difficult to create a block of time and assign a task to the time. There are so many buttons to click and you need to press “done” after inputting the date or time value, if you forget, which you will, because no other calendars work that way, you will mess up the start and back due date, then you will have to start doing it all over again. I stop using this task to calendar function because of how clumsy it is. I wish it can be more like google calendar. Drag a block of time, you can shorten it or lengthen it. Yes, on ClickUp, if you wish to change the time you have set you need to do the clumsy process all over again. It wastes so much time. I love the start and due dates value, but I would also love the actual working date/time value. Because the prospect may contact me on 2019/03/23 at 12:00 and the project must finish (due date) by 2019/04/22 at 13:00; I may actually just work On: 2019/03/28 13:00-18:00 photo shoot 2019/03/29 11:00-14:00 editing 2019/04/12 15:00-18:00 final edit I wish there is a time log. You can see your tasks on google calendar, but you won’t see your google calendar events on Clickup’s calendar. Sometimes the buttons are not that responsive, I have to click a few times for the radius button to be clicked on the check list. Which checklist and to do list look similar but they each has a different set of function, I wish they just combined them.

Overall, I am very pleased with my experience with ClickUp and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good task management tool.

Pros

I like how user-friendly ClickUp is. I also like how it is possible to see the big picture and then zoom in on the details. I think this is a great tool for project management.

Cons

There are a few things that I didn't like about ClickUp software. First, I found the user interface to be a bit confusing and difficult to navigate. Second, I didn't like how there was no way to export or backup my data. Lastly, I found the customer support to be lacking.

Pros

It has a very robust set of features, and it has excellent integrations with tools like Zapier.

Cons

There are some performance issues that could slow you down, such as a change you make taking a couple seconds to "take." You'll want to be aware of this so that you don't accidentally create something twice, for instance.

After using, Trello, Asana and Hubstaff Tasks, I can say I like this tool the most, and would definitely recommend it.

Pros

I like the settings available for recurrent tasks, it’s more complete than Trello or Hubstaff Tasks, the dashboards help us get a clear idea of the team’s tasks and objectives and I think it’s not complex to use at all.

Cons

Not sure if they were bugs, but sometimes when creating the tasks we would notice they disappeared and some did appear afterwards but we would ended up creating them twice thinking it didn’t save correctly the first time.

It was recommended to us, and after looking around the platform and considering the company’s need, we decided it was a good fit.

I love that I can create tasks and assign to my team, and each team member can track time on each specific task.

Cons

I probably only use about 5% of what ClickUp can do. There is SO MUCH inside the software...can be overwhelming to someone who is trying to figure it out for the first time. It's easy enough to get started, but takes time to become a power user.

We are using ClickUp for basic task tracking. We haven't customized our ClickUp that much. There are a lot of features that come in handy once in a while - but they are not critical to our workflows. That being said, ClickUp does everything we want it to do.

Pros

ClickUp has a lot of developer-friendly features. It is easy to write Markdown in task descriptions. Code blocks are standard. The amount of customization one can achieve is nice as well.

Cons

ClickUp is fast, but it's not often fast enough for jotting quick notes down. If I need to write a note about a task, I will jot it down in a text editor, and then later transfer it to ClickUp. Also, if I need to navigate through a bunch of ClickUp folders to find a task, it can be frustratingly slow - though I admit this is a common problem amongst competitor products as well.

### "Great Project and Task Tracker"

There was a fairly short learning curve coming from Trello. The sales process and onboarding were great also.

Pros

We loved the ability to create dashboards that can be filtered. The kanban boards are easy to use. The mobile app keeps getting improved as well.

Cons

Really awaiting the ability to incorporate more custom fields in the dashboard reports.

### "Probably the best project management tool in the market"

I love this software and the vision of the company. This software is amazing, and I just hope in the future you're not bought by some giant company, which would probably change all the wonderful things you've done so far.

Pros

To start, the free tier is absolutely amazing, and they keep adding new stuff for free. When I started, my learning curve was minimum and, in a few hours, I had all my projects set up. It is such a complete and functional tool, and I have no complains. And the paid option will be nice for some added features and is not expensive at all.

Cons

When I started using ClickUp, my only complaint was that the free tier didn't have Gant charts. However, some months ago they added this option for free. So, my thanks to the ClickUp teams for all this gifts.

Overall I'd say I'm very satisfied, productivity has boosted and I can keep things more organized. It's super easy for me to create a task, assign it, decide a timeframe for it (have it appear on my Google Calendar) and have an overview (and email digests) of all the work to be done. I recommend it for anybody from a big project manager, to a single person just organizing day to day choirs.

Pros

As its tagline states "one app to replace them all", ClickUp does a great job at offering features I'd otherwise previously be using 2-3 different apps for. I used to have an app for tasks, another for time tracking, and other methods for sharing media and messaging, I now use ClickUp for all of these things. I have recommended it on all projects I've worked on, and have yet to meet a team that did not find it valuable enough to make a switch to it.

Cons

It's still relatively new, so there are a couple of things that need 100% fixing here and there, for example, I've found the desktop app a little annoying sometimes when it needs to update and I had to change the shortcut icon on my taskbar (as if the update changed the program .exe file), but as mentioned, it's new so I guess somethings are to be expected.
