I was able to collaborate and communicate with coworkers on the daily through the app. Pros I really enjoyed the simplicity of use in assigning tasks to different clients. It made time tracking very easy and helped organize who's task was who's. Cons The part I didn't like about ClickUp was the description area within each task. I've worked with many other PM platforms and Clickup brings everything together for free. I regret not finding it sooner. The only reason I am giving it 4 starts is because the only thing missing for me is better calendar integration. I hope that this bring their attention to it and ClickUp realizes how crucial great two-way integration is in the world of technology. I honestly would pay good money for it. Pros First of all I love that it's free forever unless you want premium features. I also love the approach Clickup takes to time and project management, that they integrated so many helpful things in one platform. I no longer have to keep a dozen tabs open at the same time. Cons The calendar integration feature definitely lags. I have 6 calendars across various platforms and so far I only have been able to sync Google calendar and not without issues I must say. I wish that Outlook calendar sync was two-way. Director Information Technology and Services Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Highly recommended intuitive workspace tools" September 8, 2025 5.0 I would recommed ClickUp to organisations who are looking for a single platform to consolidate systems that have been traditionally split across multiple platforms (email, Teams, Slack, Project Management tools, record/registers, document repositories) etc. and are comfortable with trading the risks of "all eggs in one basket" for the huge benefits of a single consolidated workspace. Pros The ClickUp interface is intuitive and easy to begin working with straight out of the box. The hierarchical model is easy to understand and uses language that makes sense without a significant amount of learning. The AI Brain tool makes using parts of the platform even more enjoyable, creating content templates to get you started. The ClickUp University course made a real difference, and both Novice and Expert certificates can be completed in a day, setting you up with the knowledge needed to get going. It is our CRM, our bug tracking system, our project management tool, our company resource storage, and process documentation. It is able to do all of those things well which is very impressive. Cons ClickUp definitely has its fair share of bugs. It can be glitchy and need some refreshes every now and then. Luckily, they are never anything huge or detrimental, mostly just annoyances. Cons It bogs down pretty good when multiple people are working on the same area from different computers and the auto-update is not as smooth as it could be. We have considerably reduced the delays that were generated when managing projects manually with traditional communication channels and Excel spreadsheets, now everything is more practical and automated. Monitoring the progress of projects has never been so easy, with this platform I can manage multiple projects without feeling overwhelmed or delaying them that generate cost overruns and failure to meet deadlines, everything is simpler when it comes to using this tool. ClickUp simplifies my workflow and the customization it has allows my team and I to have better control over both the order and priority of each specific project and task, in addition, the wide range of integrations that this platform has with another was the definitive decision to choose ClickUp since it made it much easier for us to integrate data without the need to manually transfer what we needed. This tool has been the best in terms of cost/benefit, being an important part of my company's growth. Pros Task management is very customizable, allowing me to manage projects and keep track of them by adapting them to the priorities of the tasks I want to complete in less time. I can also set deadlines for each task and project, and team collaboration is very flexible and clear, as there are no confusions when executing them. It also has multiple templates for different ways of managing a project, which makes it easier for me to have different perspectives on tracking deadlines for different projects. The integrations are what made me choose this platform the most, as the library of platforms that can be connected to ClickUp is incredibly extensive. I don't need to take extra steps to be able to synchronize data from different platforms. This allows me to work more efficiently on my projects without having to waste time trying to configure an application and get it to work correctly. Another positive point is that ClickUp is available on different operating systems, including on the web if you don't want to download anything. For my company, this is necessary because it doesn't limit the user to using a specific operating system. I can even include ClickUp on my Apple Watch, which keeps me informed about the status of projects and the completion of their tasks. Cons Its interface is clean and practical but it can be difficult to configure at first, the implementation requires a bit of learning if compared to other project management platforms, especially due to the number of options that ClickUp has. I would like each project to have a personalized configuration for the notifications received, since it can be overwhelming to receive a lot of unnecessary notifications, this would allow me to prioritize notifications to certain projects and tasks since not all of them have the same importance of being notified of everything that happens. If you need to connect a platform to ClickUp, you will need knowledge to be able to connect the API and for it to be able to access the functions to be able to automate its processes, but I see this in very specific cases because practically the vast majority of platforms on the market can be connected to these tools with a couple of clicks. The AI ​​function is very clumsy, it does not work as well as it is presented, I prefer to do the automations myself and leave everything ready than for the AI ​​of this platform to do it for me. Even with integrations, I can integrate another, much more polished AI platform that can do the specific tasks I require and simply not use ClickUp's AI. I like how you can customize fields, automations and assign tasks to different team members with status updates and due dates. Cons We've experienced a ton a glitches in the past few years using ClickUp. Automations break all of the time which is a huge problem when it comes to project management. Although their support team is very responsive, they don't always get back to you with a solution right away if it's something that needs to be "investigated".
