It is highly customisable, so you can track anything you want, and you can have multiple people working on a task. It contains some advanced capabilities that are quite helpful, like scheduling, and resource tracking. Pros It's a one-stop shop for project management. It combines a variety of functions at a reasonable price. The free plan is a plus point. Their dashboard is easy to use and you can access all the features easily. Creating, planning, and tracking all the work in one place is possible. Real-time chats, tag groups, individuals, and assign comments can be done in one place. This tool saves more time for busy people and business owners. Pros It has many tools to choose from and you can perform all tasks in one place. You can import work from other tools automatically as well as create a custom import to bring work in from excel or tools not supported with ClickUp. Setting goals, staying on track, installation of carpets, setting reminders, scheduling is all possible in one place. I can customize the tool to fit my needs. " April 11, 2020 5.0 I use ClickUp purely for myself and I only use it for work related tasks, projects, and emails. I also have a small development team which I manage with Pivotal Tracker. Your feature set is growing into something I may move my dev team onto, but transferring all the notes, comments, etc will be the biggest obstacle. Pros It works really well, has extensions/add-ons, looks clean, is very customizable, and the rate you provide quality feature updates is mind blowing. Cons I was an IQTell user (RIP) one feature I miss the most where ClickUp struggles was a set of hotkeys and preset actions for processing lists at an extremely fast pace. For example, you could configure actions i.e "Create Next Action", "Delete", "Link to Action" and bind them to number keys. If I were viewing and email I could press "1" then "E" which would create a task and prompt me for a field or two. You could also process an inbox full of "quick notes" in a matter of minutes. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I don't feel like ClickUp allows for task processing at that place. Secondly, I get that the value is in the team related features, but a guy can wish. It would be nice to have a "solo" layout that disables the growing list of sharing options in the UI along with the multiple workspaces. I mostly used that for numbering about attachment. it is really easy to use at implement not only at work but also at personal level. in clickup you can only create 5 spaces in a single workspace if you are using free account but you can create numerious workspaces with single account which can have 5 spaces each for free forever plan. Photographer, curator, producer Photography Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Combining Calendar, Todoist, Trello and Evernote" June 17, 2020 4.0 Clickup has enabled me to clearly plan ahead, visualize short term achievements and long term goals with easy. That's game-changing. The fact that I have everything I need at my fingertips within this one product makes the processes involved that much more enjoyable. Pros It's so good to finally have one place that hosts a Calendar, To-Do's, Kanban and Wikis in one place. On top, it offers useful features for planning and following through that neither of the above has. The transition to ClickUp cost about three to four full days of work but that was totally worth it. The development and support are the best I've ever seen on any product. They really do listen to their user base and implement new features at a rapid pace, tweaking and refining existing ones and finding solutions for problems where I didn't even think there were possibilities. Cons The web clipper could be improved - Evernote is much more advanced here. The software is at times sluggish - in all browsers I tried. The mobile version for Android needs some serious overhaul but they're working on it and planning to roll it out later this summer. I am confident that this product will further improve. Now we can see what is going on with everyone, in one view, but then dig into the projects themselves (individually) and see the child tasks there. Pros We moved to Clickup from Asana after using Asana for a few months. We found ClickUp had much more customization and flexibility. This was especially with the views, and making it so that you could get everything in ONE view. We also love the proactive notifications, like if you are moving a task to being complete, that if there are sub-tasks under that (that are still active) that you are given the option to update the sub-tasks dates/status. Overall, after using this system for many weeks, we have found ClickUp has made us much more efficient, and also given us visibility into all of our projects. We also love all the options you have appear when you right click on a task. Cons The only issue we have really found thus far is that some of the screens, mainly while using the Drag and Drop, can lag for a second or two. As a result, you have to learn to wait while using the drag/drop when you release the "drag" so that it appears in the correct place. This software made it easy for everyone to see what everyone else was working on, what stage it was in, and what was waiting in the wings to be picked up. As the project manager, I also found it really easy to re-assign tasks and give feedback on each individual task. Unlike a product like Slack, this feedback alerted the person I wanted to send it to, but didn't force him/her to pick it up right away. They were able to focus on their current task and THEN pick up the feedback when they could give it the attention it needed. It was easy for them also to easily see which task I was referring to and it kept the conversation contained in a way I found really helpful. Pros I was able to learn how to use ClickUp without a few minutes and it really helped to streamline the organisation of a large-scale, long term project. Cons At the time of using, our managing director found it difficult to get a quick overview of the project. He felt that he needed to wade into it to find out where we were with it. I know that ClickUp have been adding new features and I understand that a Gant chart is either available or in beta testing at the moment. But it would have been a really useful feature at the time we were relying on it more heavily. We are now able to maintain all data about multiple projects in one location at once with excellent tracking and progress. Pros The major benefit, in my opinion, is that ClickUp is an extremely user-friendly and intuitive platform that makes it simple to add team members with just an email and the project administrator's approval. It also avoids adding any extraneous information, which is, in my opinion, its strongest value. It is the method that enables the visibility of the project's participants and the capability to let them contribute to the information record to indicate the progress of each work in the easiest way possible, in addition to the potential for supporting the progress with evidence. and additions. Cons The learning curve in ClickUp is what I find a bit difficult. When it comes to the tool's capabilities, it is VERY sturdy and has a wide range of uses.
