I still feel giving so much functionality is gonna confuse a lot of users out there. Pros Well its a behemoth of an application and can have a lot of integrations in it. Automations and now with AI summaries makes getting tasks done easier. Cons Its just too big, when I started using it. I hated it like anything due to its sheer size (obviously a lot of teams in my company so a lot of boards). Getting used to was really difficult. Its super slow. Slow as in you can compare it to a tortoise. November 28, 2024 5.0 Click up is my favourite project and time management solution and offers much better functionality than other tools I have tried such as Wrike. I know what I’m doing every single day and how much time it has taken due to the complete suite of tools that click up provides. Pros Time management and task management is really simple and the app feels complete across all platforms making it a seamless experience no matter where I’m working Cons The latest update changed things up a lot and made the experience a lot different all at once meaning that rather than learning new features or layouts bit by bit it all came at once making it slightly difficult to get my head around. It helped us coordinate our plan for a course we were organizing and keep track of the tasks we were performing. Pros It's very easy to manage projects, their tasks, assign responsible people, change status, and track the status of the project in general. It's an easy to tool to use within a team. Cons It was tricky to understand which projects were yours in your workspace and which ones were shared with you. In addition, I wish there was an option to add to-do checklists where one can check each item in a task, instead of writing it as comments. I used it daily for over a year, and it me keep track of everything I needed to do. I could definitely say that by using ClickUp, my stress in the role I was in was reduced, ultimately allowing me to focus and tackle large and complex projects ahead of schedule while managing ad-hoc tasks throughout the day/week. Pros When I first started using it, I would keep track of each and every task given to me in Clickup. This evolved from only a to-do list, to an agenda and company document and template library. I loved how easy it was to navigate, as a business alternative to Notion (which I was using for personal reasons) with similar features. Cons When I tried using Clickup more recently (within the past year), it seemed as though it was overloaded with new features that weren't there 2-3 years ago. It's very confusing for someone who was used to the previous ClickUp with less features (This might be the first time I've ever reviewed something poorly for having too many features). I also like that you can easily create tasks and that there are many different options to personalize your to-do list. Cons Sometimes I have frustrations with the Chat system, the conversations get lost easily and I also wish there was an easier way to update the status of a task.
