Overall, my experience with ClickUp was positive. It is a powerful project management platform with a lot of flexibility, which makes it a strong option for teams that need detailed organization and customizable workflows. While it can take some time to get fully comfortable with the platform, once everything is set up properly it can be very effective for keeping projects on track and improving visibility across teams.

Pros

What I liked most about ClickUp was how much it brings into one place. It made it easier to manage tasks, projects, deadlines, and team communication without constantly switching between different tools. I also liked the level of customization, especially the ability to set up views, statuses, and workflows in a way that matched how the team actually worked.

Cons

What I liked least about ClickUp was that it can feel overwhelming at times, especially for new users. Because there are so many features and settings, the platform has a bit of a learning curve. In some cases, it felt like simple task management could become more complicated than it needed to be, and the interface could feel a little cluttered.

Pros

8.2/10 experience over-all. Very powerful and can be an excellent use-case for someone who has some time to set it up properly and really dial everything in. It is so robust, features and tool can be lost in the shuffle of learning it initially

Pros

It is a very robust tool that can be used for project collaboration and management. It link seamlessly with your calendar(whichever you use and helps with accountability in team collaboration.

Cons

It bogs down pretty good when multiple people are working on the same area from different computers and the auto-update is not as smooth as it could be. The AI never really worked for me, as I did not build out click up completely(I did not feel the need to)

Pros

I think ClickUp is super useful for my small business. It's a super customizable platform that replaces multiple tools which makes it a great investment.

Cons

NO cons so far! It definitely streamlines workflows through Kanban boards, time tracking, task automation, which ultimately helps our small teamincrease efficiency

I like that it is easy to figure out how to use. Delegate tasks to my team. We can comment back and fourth so we are all on the same page.

Cons

I wish it had built in integrations so I don’t have to use zapier to integrate with other CRM platforms.

Since it houses the files in one place, I’m not having to dig through 500 emails like a lunatic. I can visually see how much work the creative people are doing and whether or not they are drowning. It’s nice I no longer have to manually repeat the same tasks each Monday morning because the automation actually works.

Pros

It was very fast to set up for our group of ten people. The person they sent to teach us was relentless and so everybody eventually figured it out. Connecting to Slack wasn’t as bad of an experience as I thought it would be either.

Cons

The entire screen will freeze while I’m moving cards around sometimes and it gets me to the point where I want to throw my mouse across the room. I also wish that the proofing add on would allow me to do frame by frame review, as right now, it’s not detailed enough for the video team. There are far too many menus to google through.

Useful project management tool to manage multiple linked tasks across a team (or teams). Would recommend.

Pros

Good tool for managing projects across a team - find it useful to associate and link related activities and tasks and assign owners.

Cons

It does take work to update and maintain to get the most out of the tool - sometimes I feel I am working a little against the UI to keep on top of the projects

My experience using Clickup is positive. While I attempted at first to use it in place of NotionAI, I eventually started using the two for different things.

Pros

I really like the way clickup allows you to collaborate on projects, and their automation makes things so much easier

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve with this software. Luckily there are many articles and how tos that can close the gap!

Have been using for a couple of years for small projects with group members. For larger projects with many members ClickUp doesn't seem to be the best fit.

Pros

It provides highly flexible ways to visualize output. Uses AI very well to generate superior output with no coding required. It's available for free with sufficient features to satisfy the vast majority of users.

Cons

Feature set is so rich it can be overwhelming to a new user. For some projects the App's performance can get very sluggish. If the standard free features aren't sufficient, required ad-dons can be rather expensive.
