Pros

There's a lot of interesting stuff happening with the AI integration, this software is pushing what the agentic integrations can do and I enjoy the prospect of automations in my project management software

Cons

I can't understand how this was created, the tools here are incomprehensible. Things get lost in ClickUp so easily and it frustrates myself and all my coworkers to have to track things down every single time we have a conversation outside a top level task.

ClickUp has made it easier to manage network-related projects and daily operational tasks without relying on multiple spreadsheets or email chains. It provides enough flexibility to adapt to different workflows while keeping the team informed about progress and priorities. Although the initial setup requires some effort, it becomes a dependable collaboration tool once everything is configured. It's a solid choice for IT and operations teams looking for an all-in-one project management platform.

Pros

I use ClickUp to organize infrastructure tasks, maintenance schedules, incident follow-ups, and documentation. The ability to create custom task statuses, automate recurring work, and collaborate with different teams helps keep everything in one place. Comments, attachments, and notifications make communication much smoother, especially when coordinating with IT support and vendors. For the features it offers, I think it delivers good value for money.

Cons

The platform includes so many features that it can feel cluttered at times. Finding specific settings or configuring dashboards isn't always intuitive, particularly for new users. I have also noticed occasional lag when opening larger workspaces or reports, and the mobile experience could be more polished.

Overall, really positive. I think that their product, Growth Motion, is fantastic, and their tool is just as good, if not better, than any other project management software out there.

Pros

I love that I could use the product for several months before I actually had to pay for it. In that time, ClickUp became a complete part of my daily operating procedures and was ingrained as a part of my workflow. By the time that I would reach the end of the free tier and needed to upgrade, it was a no-brainer for me because I already saw how much value it provided. I saw how easy it was to collaborate on projects with people, how I could automate a lot of tasks, and just how easy it was to use.

Cons

This is a really nitpicky thing, but in their documents feature, their tables don't work. It is so frustrating to create and edit tables within their documents feature.

Cost was a leading factor in terms of the IM marketing shop that's just getting started. I found it that, additionally, Asana was frustrating with some of the lack of capabilities around automation.

Well, my overall experience has been exceptional. I was blown away by an AI that cares and can help me organize and automate my work: Task management is 100%. The only problems have been the interface and the learning curve. It takes a while to get used to.

Pros

I like the AI agents system, The ability to create various agents and allocate tasks, the ability to integrate with my outlook email and other platforms

Cons

The UI/UX mainly: I feel the options, menus, and items could be better organized, and it takes a while to get used to it. I had to use the brain AI for my first few days to help me work and also to point me in the right direction. There are usually a lot of things happening on the screen when you sign up, which can be confusing for a first-time user.

Overall, my experience with ClickUp was pretty good. It packs in a lot of useful features, task management, docs, goals, time tracking, all in one place, so you're not constantly switching between tools. What stood out most was how well it integrates with other software. Whether it's Slack, GitHub, Google Drive, or various automation platforms, ClickUp connects smoothly and fits naturally into an existing workflow rather than forcing you to change how you work. That flexibility made it easy to adopt without much friction, and the breadth of integrations meant it could adapt to different project needs. While there's room for improvement in the UI and automation depth, the overall package felt solid, practical, and genuinely useful for keeping work organized in one central hub.

Pros

The ClickUp API was refreshingly straightforward to get up and running with. Authentication was simple; just an API token, no elaborate OAuth dance required for personal use cases. The documentation is clear and well-organized, with endpoints logically grouped around workspaces, spaces, folders, lists, and tasks, which maps intuitively onto how ClickUp's UI is structured. Response payloads are consistent and predictable, making it easy to parse tasks, custom fields, and statuses without a lot of guesswork or trial and error. Rate limits are reasonable and clearly documented, so you're not left wondering why requests suddenly start failing. Pagination works as expected. Within an hour or so, I had task creation, updates, and status changes working reliably. Overall, it felt like an API built by people who actually use their own product, smooth integration experience from start to finish.

Cons

Honestly, the UI is my biggest gripe, it feels cluttered and layouts aren't always intuitive, especially with nested spaces, folders, and lists. Automations also feel limited compared to competitors, setting up more complex workflow triggers often requires workarounds instead of just working natively out of the box.
