Pros You can easily track projects and collaborate with team members while at the same time create recurring tasks and projects to save time later. I love how it keeps me organized and directs my day. Cons Learning how to use the templates and getting everything initially set up was a challenge. As a completely remote team working across timezones it makes tracking projects so much easier than manually checking in with each team member. Cons To use ClickUp effectively, you need to know your goals before creating or utilizing any of the features. It's not a tool that you can use halfway, at least not successfully. I like how you can customize fields, automations and assign tasks to different team members with status updates and due dates. Cons We've experienced a ton a glitches in the past few years using ClickUp. Automations break all of the time which is a huge problem when it comes to project management. Although their support team is very responsive, they don't always get back to you with a solution right away if it's something that needs to be "investigated". It also makes it easier to check jobs you have worked on, when completing timesheets and estimating times on new jobs. Pros Click is a great way to manage your workflow and projects. It is a good way to plan your week ahead and allocate time to jobs and projects. Cons I think the closed jobs list is very slow to open and it loads in too many jobs. It would be better if it only loaded in a certain number of your latest jobs that you had closed. That said, creating tasks in the right spot can feel overwhelming at times, and I wish that part was a bit more intuitive. Pros Moving tasks along sprints is super easy. I also like how flexible it is with task statuses, you can set up the exact workflow you need, and updating or changing a task’s status is really smooth. Cons When I create a task directly in the current sprint, it sometimes feels like it just disappears.
