Overall, my experience with has been positive, and I would recommend it. It provides all the necessary tools to manage hotel operations effectively.

Pros

is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. The system is reliable and provides accurate information, which helps streamline daily operations.

Cons

Support response and resolution times for urgent issues can be slow, leading to frustration. In the hospitality industry, where time is critical, delays can directly impact operations and guest experience. However, I believe there is an opportunity to improve the onboarding experience. Providing more structured or proactive training for new users and managers would help teams maximize the system’s capabilities from the beginning.

is hands-down the worst customer service on the planet. They’re smooth, attentive, and borderline over-eager during setup, but the second they’ve got your money, you might as well be shouting into a void. You will NEVER speak to a human being again. Every issue gets funneled into endless tickets, bots, and dead-end emails. If you actually need support to run your business, look elsewhere, Cloudbeds disappears the moment you need them most. worst of all though, they lost 22 THOUSAND dollars of my deposits over one summer. They paid it back, but it took ME doing the leg work to prove they were not depositing my money. Money I was supposed to get in July, I got in October. Steer clear. And yes, I have receipts for all of this.

Pros

The customer service in the beginning. Turns to total crap after they get your money.They do NOT care about helping you AT ALL.

Cons

You will never speak to a human again after they get you set up. Never in my life have I felt more duped. I have had then for 3 years and hate it.

Mi experiencia en general a sido buena. Pero no se ajusta a nuestra nesesidades tributarias y encima de eso metodos de pago fuera de lugar poca integracion con otras herramientas de. Pago online (pasarelas de pago, pago con tarjeta de credito o debito). Son muy inflexibles con ese tema y simplemente dicen No se puede. Para lo que ofrecen a ese precio en vez de tener una interfaz bonita prefiero una interfaz funcional.

Pros

Tiene una muy bunea intefaz web, PMS excelente, toda la plataforma esta bien diseñada metodos de pagos, clinetes y motor de reservas bien integrado la verdad. La verdad toda su interfaz demsiada bonita y personalizacion es bien sensilla.

Cons

Mira aqui son varias desventajas aqui sobre en todo Peru y Latinoamerica en general. No se lo remiendo mejor optar por otras mas abaratas. No se integra con SUNAT (institucion de recaudación tributaria) pesimo la verdad ¿como se supone que haga las facturas a mano?. Metodos de pagos solo tiene opcion paypal y otros en latinoamerica ese servicio no hay y ademas de eso no permite que se integre con alguna pasarela de pagos de tu pais, una desgracia total para lo que cobran.

Overall, I find to be an excellent tool. The user interface is highly appealing and very user-friendly. I also appreciate that customer support is always available, and it's easy to find answers to questions. The booking management is great, and I particularly like the "Whistle for CB" feature, which keeps me and my guests connected at all times. Lastly, the variety of channels offered through the channel connection is a major benefit.

Cons

One key area for improvement I'd love to see is the reporting functionality. I need to be able to run reports with a more itemized and detailed view to better manage our operations.

This tool does everything I want and more. I regularly use their reporting features to make data-driven decisions about my positioning and pricing strategy.

Pros

I love that they’re always rolling out new products and features that keep up to date with the trends and newest technologies.

Cons

I wish it were slightly more affordable. After the monthly subscription fees, add on’s and payment processing, it is a significant monthly expense to our small hotel.

I believe one of the biggest things lacking today in business is relationship and loyalty. Overall my experience with has certainly been more positive but not without challenges and problems. Recently, it appears as though Cloudbeds is taking steps to focus more on relationship and supporting their partners. I am grateful for my relationship with Cloudbeds.

Pros

I have been with since their origin. I am grateful for the way they have supported my business/ministry. During Covid, Cloudbeds showed up in a big way, and gave me grace in regards too the financial burden during a very difficult season. This selfless act showed me their commitment as a partner. What I am most impressed with is their continued innovation, and the consistency of the platform.

Cons

The growth opportunity is in regards to customer service. I was recently assigned a new account manager which I am very grateful for. The turnover has been exhausting and worrisome. Relationships matter! No hospitality partners, no . When I have immediate needs, there is not enough support.

Difficult to get payouts. They hold the money for over a week. Unlike Sqare or Stripe (even though they use Stripe)…which deposits daily…. holds your funds.

Pros

It integrates all OTA’s and direct bookings under one roof…but not that well because they continuously have outages.

Cons

The reporting system has may flaws and some reports are completely unable to be read by accountants because they are completely wrong. Their reports are unable to accurately show commission payments…citing 890% commission rather than the actual percentage that is being take …making entire categories unusable .

Pros

is an excellent PMS and booking engine for a boutique property like ours. We have felt it's a great product for the cost, with decent customer support and a great help article library.

Cons

I do wish we had a dedicated support agent; it would be nice to get to interact with a representative who has a sense of our property and knows our issue history.

It's been a powerful tool for our team to scale from one property to four properties. We have the multi-property functionality and it's been game changer.

Pros

What I liked most about is how incredibly user-friendly and intuitive the platform is, especially considering how powerful it is under the hood. Everything is connected in a way that actually makes sense operationally — from reservations and channel management to payments and reporting — which removes a lot of the friction that hospitality teams usually deal with across multiple systems.

Cons

Payment processing in developing countries still requires third party integrations, we would prefer to use Payments.

What I liked least was that some advanced reports took a little longer to customize than I expected. But overall, the ease of use outweighs that!

Et en cas de litige avec un client très peu de réponse apportées Dans mon cas, un client a réservé en mars une semaine et n’est jamais venu et au mois d’avril, nous recevons un message de comme quoi ce client a fait opposition et que sa banque était en train de étudier le cas et voilà qu’aujourd’hui début juin, nous recevons un mail comme quoi nous avons perdu Sans aucune autre explication sans aucune preuve apportée par Client, nous sommes dans le flou complet sur cette décisions et aucune explication de cloudbeds alors que nous nous avons amené les preuves par mail de nos échanges avec ce client qui nous a jamais fait d’annulation et même une preuve de mail où il indique le maintien de cette réservation Je suis vraiment très déçu de ce partenaire et vous le déconseille car vous avez aucune protection et n’importe quel client peut demander l’annulation du paiement de son séjour à tout moment sans aucune protection de Cloudbeds je trouve ça inadmissible pour un partenaire

Frustrating, I was under the impression that the software was smarter. A simple report will force you to do a bunch of manual calculations. Taxes aren't included in payout breakdowns, not sure how that was decided.

Pros

It serves as an all in one PMS, channel manager, and communications hub. Support is available all the time despite not always being the most helpful. Nice calendar and dashboard.

Cons

The software can be painfully unintuitive. Reporting is oddly very lacking. Hostaway had much better reporting, which to me is a surprise. Each reservation coming from an OTA has pending balances (we are on Channel Connect) which isn't good for our book keeping. Airbnb which is the same for everyone doesn't get balanced out automatically, you have to do this manually. You also have to manually rectify cancellations otherwise they will show as paid. Google Hotel ads isn't working, be wary about this on your sales call because this was a big reason we joined, but so far we have no idea how this works.

### "Chaque jour plus décevant "

Mise en place lourde (comme n’importe quelle autre solution) en 2018. Depuis, nous l’utilisons tous les jours pour gérer un hôtel de 17 chambres au Brésil. C’est assez convivial et simple surtout le calendrier. Le système de tarification est lourd, la gestion des clients et réservations présente des bugs évidents depuis des années qui n’ont jamais été corrigés et sont fatigants au quotidien : par exemple une recherche par nom de client qui va afficher les réservations les plus anciennes au lieu des plus recentes > perte de temps systématique (c’est un exemple parmi tant d’autres). Il y a souvent des bugs qui ne sont pas toujours corrigés et malheureusement le support est très limité, je n’ai jamais réussi à implémenter plusieurs OTA par faute de support compétent + réponse par email donc il faut s’armer de patience… Nous avons essuyé les plâtres du système de tarification adaptatif ce qui a fait exploser tout notre système car vendait des fonctionnalités absolument pas prêtes à être déployées > il a fallu tout reprogrammer + nombreux préjudices commerciaux sans jamais une excuse de la part de Cloudbeds. Si la transition n’était pas aussi traumatique, cela fait au moins 3 ans que j’aurais changé de système. On reste donc avec Cloudbeds par dépit… le temps d’avoir le courage de changer.

Pros

Assez simple d’utilisation et tout intégré pour un prix qui reste raisonnable.

Cons

Beaucoup de bug, aucun support téléphonique, support en ligne décevant, volonté de faire des ventes additionnelles avec des produits ou services qui ne fonctionnent pas au lieu d’améliorer ce qui existe déjà.

### "Cloudbeds, everything you need for your Hotel"

I have been using this app for a while now and i can say that it works perfect for a correct administration and management for your different areas of your hotel, it’s easy to use and more importantly, nowadays we need to do everything via remotely.

Pros

I like how incorporates everything that a hotel needs, booking, sales management, inventory management, reviews management as well as being able to control your own hotel in many ways, i been using this app for over 5 months and every single feature works well, planning and having them it’s vital for a correct organization of your hotel.

Cons

There are some features that works better outside the software ecosystem like the built in accounting, i didn’t use this and i think in might not be a key feature to the software.

Sin duda hay una mejor organización en el trabajo desde que se implementó al hotel. A facilitado mucho el trabajo y ayudado al desempeño de la propiedad.

Es muy sencillo visualmente, bastante intuitivo y tiene buenas instrucciones para su uso. Muy amplio para abarcar varias facetas, se nota que pensaron en todo lo que abarca el funcionamiento de una propiedad hotelera. Muy cómodo de usar.

Cons

Creo que hace falta una pestaña de recepción, donde podamos realizar comentarios, notas y observaciones tanto sobre las reservas como sobre el establecimiento en si, sea para limpieza o mantenimiento, o un sector donde se pueda acceder a estas pestañas: recepción, mantenimiento y limpieza, restaurante. Este acceso solo para los usuarios del programa, ya que seria un manejo interno del equipo de trabajo. Siguiendo este hilo, añadiría una opción de usuario que tenga acceso limitado al calendario de clbds para el equipo de limpieza, o bien, una grilla o calendario distinto donde puedan ver las habitaciones y poder realizar comentarios sin que afecte a las reservas que se visualizan en el calendario que se utiliza en recepción. Mejoraría la pre visualización de las notas de las reservas, a veces presentan un pequeño error que no te permite leerlas por completo y te obliga a entrar a detalles de la reserva para poder verlas.

### "Cloudbeds, easy to use, very functional."

My hostel is listed with several reservation agencies, every time there is a reservation, I need to go to all of the other agencies and close that room. It is very time consuming and cumbersome, however, if I don't I risk overbooking a room. With the process is automatic and instant (within a minute).

Pros

It took me less than 5 minutes to teach my employee everything they need to be efficient in the program. It is extremely easy to switch languages depending on who the user is. It is organized in a thoughtful way. Creating reservations form, for example, can be accessed from various screens.

Cons

There are some areas where I would like to be able to set my own default. For example, when I go to the reservations page (all reservations historically and current), there is a filter which quickly gives me just the current unfulfilled (future) reservations. I would like that to be the default filter. I cannot set it as default. There are other similar filters.

### "Front end is ok but back-end is far from acceptable"

I was excited but after using it I was disappointed. On the front end, I do not deny that it has helped us in terms of inventory management and connection with OTAs. Nonetheless, the backend processes have really thrown us into utter disappointment. The support staff were trying to help but often provided workaround solutions that will put the property in a bigger issue. For instance, we had problems with having to manually confirm customers upon successful clearance of payment by Stripe and the solution suggested to us by the Support team is allow for a blanket confirmation regardless of whether the payment is cleared. I was utterly shocked to see that coming from the Support team as this comes at a high level of risk to the property given that the resort will be held accountable for the confirmation email. The reason why we signed up for the Payment Processing module is so that we do not have to worry about receiving payments and do not have to worry about manually confirming payment ourselves. Besides, often when technicalities are involved, the Support team will say they need to speak to the Technical or Development team but without any proper deadline of when the problem will be solved. It is frustrated to deal with problems when there is no timeline attached as to when the problem will be solved. I suggest that the Support team work with the technical team to commit to deadlines for a problem to be solved.

Pros

I like it that it is a all-in-one software and it's easy to use.

Cons

The payment processing module is far from acceptable. is integrated with Stripe but the integration is not complete and requires a lot of manual backend work to confirm a reservation once a payment is cleared. One of the reasons for signing up with Cloudbeds is to cut down the amount of manual work backend we have but only to realise later that there are many things that have to be done manually. Manual confirmation required in a tech world - When we thought everything can be automated and Cloudbeds being a digital all-inclusive PMS provider, we were proven to be wrong. Let me give you a scenario, once a customer makes a booking and they choose to pay via credit card, a pending confirmation email gets sent to the customer while Stripe will do the payment verification and the process stops there. My team has to go back to the system to cross check each and every successful transaction and manually confirm the guests so that they get a confirmation email. What Cloudbeds could have done is to actually automatically switch the status of the guest from "Pending" to "Confirm and send email" upon receiving instructions from Stripe that the payment has gone through (this, at the time of writing remains manual on the part of property). Besides, when a credit card payment fails to be verified by Stripe, Cloudbeds does not store the information of the customer so that we can offer the customer an alternative mode of payment. Basically if the payment fails, the info vanish

Wonderful, glad we made the change from AutoClerk/MyHMS! :-)

Pros

Very clean and well thought out user interface, and the ever present search bar is my constant best friend. Entering reservations, taking credit card information, quickly being able to switch around within CB and open multiple tabs, I just don't feel like I'm ever stuck on a problem. Online chat has been so fast and helpful with questions, offering work-arounds, providing links to documentation, offering suggestions and options...very happy with support!

Cons

I really have found very little to complain about with this software. 1) I would like the system to move reservations which fail authorization to "Pending" status, not "Confirmed" status. 2) Connecting to the GDS needs more hand-holding (IMO), I was simply not prepared for what was required and speaking directly with a 3rd party company which is located in Italy made communication more challenging.

### "Cloudbeds not Ready for Prime Time"

Our experience was very poor. Their implementation team was weak. The transition was not organized well and their support was poor.

Pros

On the surface their reports look modern, but when actually using their reporting it is limited.

Cons

I should have known there were problems at as their contract had language saying that its users could not publish reviews. After some negotiations, I had them remove the language. Their contract does not comply with California privacy laws. They told us that their system integrated easily with QuickBooks, what they did not say is you have to use a third-party API translator and pay $49 per month for it and that that translator probably does not comply with privacy laws. They also said integration with QuickBooks is easy, they did not say it only works with QuickBooks on-line and not QuickBooks desktop. They also did not explain that you need a programmer to make it work as the mapping is difficult and complicated. They said they would handle the data export from our old PMS to Cloudbeds, what they did not tell us is that if you have a server-based system and not a cloud based system you have to do the data export. They told us that transition Expedia from our existing system to their system happens almost immediately, then day of transition they say 3 days…3 days with no bookings. That is thousands in lost revenue. The transition process from our old system to CloudBeds was done with limited help from them and communicating with their customer support was awful and almost exclusively via e-mail. They have you watch some videos and to some light follow up, but it is hardly a cohesive transition program. There is more, but suffice it to say the entire experience was a

Just awful. Inadequate software for the industry and 2023.

Pros

Staff if great. The software is just inadequate. I ve been in this industry for 12 years and used 4 softwares. This one is by far the worst.

Cons

Absolutely the worst customer support I have ever experienced in this industry. It is NOT possible to get in touch with accounting or payments. It took 3 months to get my invoice adjusted and services I do not use removed, yet still not all credit due was recorded and accounting, nor a manager ever followed up.if this wasn't bad, it got worse! We use their payment processor, well big mistake as well... we just suddenly stopped receiving our payouts... no emails, no calls, just no payouts. I ve reached out to support, the live chat agent said we will get back to you "as soon as possible". I said, what does that mean??? We are not getting our money! You can't tell me when I will hear from someone??? I am sorry, but no. It has been TEN DAYS without payments now, no calls, no emails, still nothing... how many businesses can survive not getting thier payments for ten days and counting? And Noone to talk to???Their website is also a joke, it is a way to keep you hostage. Because they own it. I had to rebuild it completely myself after they built it for me. It is a terrible product, stay away, don't make a mistake I made. I can write an essay how terrible this product is. They do have some really great staff, that I feel sorry for... they are true professionals.

How quickly we can go live. That should have been a red flag. Rate check, which doesn't work the way it is supposed to.

### "Perfect for our small property"

I have not experienced anything that would change my desire to utilize to manager our property. It's so easy, a child could do it...literally.

Pros

I manage a 25 room boutique hotel, and offers everything that we need in a nice, neat little package. It's so easy to use, you can train yourself how to utilize all the features in less than a day. On each and every screen, there are instructional videos on how to operate the features of the current window you are viewing. They also offer "Cloudbed University" if you want to sit down and hammer through some more chronological training. I've never had an employee need more than a few hours to get the system down pat. The software is based around the guests more than it is based around the property, and they provide multiple tools to make the check-in process easier for both the guests as well as the staff. However, the support would have to be the most impressive thing about the company. While it is extremely rare to have an issue with the software, we actually experienced an enormous lag/outage in the middle of a Saturday afternoon. However, clicked on "Get Help" and in minutes I was chatting to a live representative about the issue I was experiencing. The followed up on it and emailed me directly once it was resolved. I couldn't say that about several larger companies I have worked with in the past. I would highly recommend Cloudbeds to anyone who needs simple, cloud-based, intuitive software to help manage their property.

Cons

I wish there was a way to store guest vehicle/license plate information. You can "Suggest a feature", which I have done, but it's the equivalent of an online suggestion box. You never know if anyone actually reads them, or even considers implementing them.

### "Great reservation system for a small hotel"

Overall, I've had a really good experience with and am happy that this is the company we chose when picking a reservation system. There are lots of different options out there, and some of them were less expensive, but Cloudbeds turned out to be worth a little higher price. It's overall a really good software platform, and their amazing customer service and constant improvements makes it a really good value. I highly recommend them!

Pros

works really well at organizing all of our reservations from different sources. It has a user friendly customer facing platform, and the platform we use is nice too. They are constantly making improvements and really listen to their customers' suggestions. I think the absolute best thing about Cloudbeds is their customer service. Really. I don't know that I've ever experienced such good customer service from a software company. Anytime I've had a problem or question, I've gotten help right away. They seem to really care about me and my business, even though we're small. They always follow up to make sure my issue is resolved and their agents have gone out of their way to help me on more than one occasion. Also, they've recently partnered with Google to put their customers' pricing and direct booking information at the top of hotel searches! I'm very happy about this as I think it will make a big impact on driving direct bookings for us. To me this shows that they are looking out for us as their customers.

Cons

There are a few clunky aspects to the software that could be improved. Setting up new base rates takes some time as you have to do it individually for each room type. Hopefully they'll find a way to improve that in the future. I've had a hard time setting up the system to automatically send a receipt to guests after they've checked out too. I'd also love it if our guests could choose add-ons when they book like adding a pet fee. It would be great if they could make this work with all of the different OTAs too, so that it's easier to collect a pet fee. Right now I have to manually go in and add this, which means the guest doesn't see their actual room price until they have checked in.

### "We have become loyal clients"

I installed to be able to curb overbooking and it has served me very well. We had a manager that tried to change to another system and it was a disaster. I still dont understand why he tried to change.

Pros

Its very easy to use and implement and I am able to access it from my phone, so I can work from literally anywhere. The game changer for me is the customer support which is always very very fast with well trained staff.

Cons

I am not able to tell quickly when looking at the calender which days are bank holidays. There should be a way to make those days a different colour. Also I wish there was more history on the blockage of dates (such as when the blocking was done).
