I wish though that you didn't have to upload different list for different groups of people and that you could upload one list and have it designate the different groups based on your affiliation. Pros I love how user friendly it is and that you can access it anywhere on your phone. I also love that multiple people can work on it at the same time and it's easy to train staff on. Cons The fact that you can't do large theater seating by dragging and dropping. I wish Zkipster would also upload existing theaters that many groups use into their system instead of having to build theaters as a user. There are just a few updates I wish you’d make. Pros Creating forms for guests to fill out and having automated confirmations sent are two things I like most. Cons I wish you could customize forms more, even just simple text/color options and I always have issues when it comes to couples. Often the salutation is Dear x and y but there isn’t a way to do it unless you add both names to the first name field. The concept of being an events person means you love to engage with people. The folks at zkipster are always there to guide and help me. They truly are the best. Nothing is more painful than launching a software and having no one to rely on as a resource. They are there every single step of the way within minutes to help me. Pros I onboarded zkipster to my new firm. It is a life saver for automating event campaigns and tracking capabilities. I cannot imagine hosting an event without it. Cons I would love to have zkipster integrate a CRM add on. This will help us build out our rolodex of VIP clients and easily pull the relevant data. The support team are very helpful and the resources are always great tool to access. Pros I appreciate how user friendly Zkipster is and that it is an easy learning curve. Once you understand and get used to the interface, it makes for seamless event support. Cons Zkipster has addressed most of my issues and resolved them as they continue develop. My ongoing feature that can be a hurdle is the relationships vs. plus ones and how to best use those with seating, RSVP responses etc. I know the team is working on bettering those to integrate together. If you could address the following challenges, it would be great: The application would benefit from streamlining processes. 1. When using the mobile/tablet app during an event, there is a filter for confirmed only on the Guest Facesheet section not on the Guest List section. So we have to physically type "confirmed" to see those who are confirmed. If the event is really large, it benefits us to have a filter for confirmed and checked-in so the search feature can be used only to type names. If we have to waste the search function by typing "confirmed," then we have to scroll to look for someone and if the event is really large or if we don't have last names, it's really time consuming to locate someone (and we don't use a Facesheet for such large events). 2. Much like the memory function for photos, it would be wonderful if the memory function could work for some fields. We currently have to re-type the Organization field for each event to populate on the Facesheet each time even when someone is a repeat guest. 3. The Relationships function in the guest profiles don't seem to have much functionality when it comes to seeing the guest list and facesheet. 4. The commas being added to the Facesheet are great and obviously needed, but I think the only reason people wanted this is because there was no way to sort by Last Name then First Name and showing the name formatted normally as First Name then Last Name on the Facesheet. If you could add the feature to be able to sort by Last Name then First Name but still be able to see the First Name first then Last Name that would be amazing. 5. Sometimes when working on the All Guests list in the web application prior to the event, when saving, the list platform does not return you back to the same place you were. Sometimes it returns you to the specific Guest List where that profile is that you were editing. We don't want that. We want to return back to All Guests. Sometimes it also jumbles your place on the list or the filters you selected previously are reset and it returns you to the beginning of the list and this is all frustrating especially when working on a an event with a large guest list. Pros I love the seating and Guest Facesheet features. Cons There are nuances to using the application and some features that are missing that customers would like to have. Cons I don’t have any real complaints. If I had to nitpick, I’d say it was a little difficult to get a hang of on the front end, but I anticipate that from anything I’m new at. Dining bookings come with stadium seating for events and being able to efficiently allocate seating accurately and meeting any requirements has made my life much easier! Pros The handy features that shave valuable time off of completing tasks such as seating, creating custom floor plans, exporting guest lists. Cons A bit of clunkiness with the seating plans. Cons Like every system, it has a few nuances you have to get used to (like where to find a menu item); overall though, it is easy to use. All in all, it's basic and gets the job done. Cons You have to be connected to GOOD WiFi. If not, it will be very slow and bug out on you. I recommend either a personal hotspot or company wifi. I also wish it were integrated with either floor-plan software or event details. It also helped us to keep track of changing table numbers for dinner, for which the sincing element was vital. Pros It's very simple to use - both uploading the data before an event, and also at the event itself. The fact that all tablets in use sinc together is it's best feature. As the person in charge of the events we've used it at, I'd taken time to really get to know the programme beforehand, but we found it only took about 15 minutes to brief the team registering guests on the night, for them to completely understand it. Every single one of them said it was 100% easily to register guests using Zkipster rather than the usual paper guest lists that they're used to. Cons I haven't tried the table planning aspect yet as I still believe in a stressful environment before a big dinner, when guests are cancelling, not showing up, or just turning up, and table plans need to be quickly amended, actually having paper versions in front of me are easier to deal with.
