Comments: I have used Picatic for 2 events now (one Halloween Fundraising Event and one to ticket an Independent Film screening), and I absolutely love the service. The main appeal for me is its user friendly interface and customizable nature. For both events, I have been able to set up very aesthetically pleasing pages with custom graphics, posters and videos. I also very much appreciate that all customer information is collected and a guest list is complied for you.

Pros: -There is always support available if you run into troubles. I personally have rarely needed to use the customer support because the set up process is very easy to follow. - Donation feature and customer survey features are great additions to the regular ticketing app. - Visual customization easily done.

Cons: - When loading a video onto your page, I noticed that it can only appear at the top of the page. It would be cool to be able to imbed this anywhere on the page, just like you can imbed photos.

Comments: An extremely user friendly app, great UI and a very solid runtime environment. The application performs well under loadin and has virtually no glitching or freezing. Overall a very modern approach to what a ticketing app SHOULD look and run like.

Pros: Very user friendly, extremely good aesthetics and design.

Cons: Almost none, possibly the feature to manage multiple accounts doesn't exist yet, might be wrong here though.

Slick and simple event software at a great price.

Comments: Picatic events look great across a variety of platforms. It's easy to take those events and embed them in your own website for ticket sales (awesome). Is like to see more users of the service (not many people in my area use it), better event discovery features and better integration with the calendars we already use (Facebook events, for example). But the service is great and the price is great. There is even a free option. Customer service has been incredible, too. Awesome to see a service like this based in Canada.

Comments: Picatic is easier to use compared to any other platforms, even eventbrite. I love its user-friendly interface, which allows me to see my changes right away on the event page. It serves well as a stand-along page. So, I don't need to create my own website before start selling tickets online. And, it is the cheapest with all those great features! Recommend and free to try.

Pros: - Easy to use. - Clear pay structure. - Beautiful design. - Responsive customer support.

Cons: - Better mobile app will make it wonderful.

Comments: Our company needed registration for two different types of events, a race/rally and a tour. Being completely new to the event space, we didn't realize how useful the management tools would be. The attendee lists, analytics, and email tools were crucial. In addition, Picatic's interface is really user-friendly. Our team had varying degrees of computer skill, and no one had a problem navigating the management tools. We required support to issue a complicated refund, their support team was prompt and friendly when dealing with our team and customer. Overall we've had a great experience with Picatic's product and team.

Pros: As mentioned, the management tools were a huge asset to our event. Now that we've used them we'd have a hard time living without downloadable entrance lists, attendee surveys, Google analytics, and Mailchimp integration. Picatic's interface is also really nice, it was user-friendly and intuitive.

Cons: There are a few features missing. (I understand that start-ups need to start somewhere and build up) We would love the ability to add time zones and close an even early. We would love to take advantage of their API for future events - a more seamless check-out that looks like part of our website will be really beneficial.

Comments: i really appreciate the flexibility that piratic offers (e.g. passing on fees to the purchaser or paying yourself; option for donations, etc...) which is why we use it for our events. creating an event is simple and aesthetically pleasing and intuitive.

Comments: We'd been looking for a better ticketing platform for our summer camp for a while. PIcatic was better and less expensive than the competition. What's more, their service team was ridiculously helpful. Responses were quick, expansive, and personal. Couldn't rate highly enough.

Comments: Picatic has been great. No fees. Simple interface with useful customization. Clean look and useful tracking info. I like the fact that I can embed their widget into my website. This was easy to do. The one question I had was answered quickly and clearly but the Picatic rep I spoke with on the phone.

Comments: Great product.
For the most part, easy to learn and use.
Customer service is excellent.
A couple of pointers would have made for a better experience first time through:
- before I can click on "live" let me know what i *can't* change once its live i.e. web address
- more clarity about pricing ... i felt that i had to do some searching to figure out what my ticket price would be, and whether I needed pro or not, and what I would need to purchase (in addition to picatic) to be able to charge for events.
One very minor bugs:
- in the event information panel, when I click on country, and then move my cursor to the next line, the country changes. This has happened with each of the four events I've made. I've discovered the workaround is to fill in the city first, then the country then the province i.e. not the order you've got them on the page.

Comments: I liked my experience with Picatic... Unfortunately I did not advertise my page well because I had to use my website page because it has the price in Canadian and US $ at the same time.

Now I am not sure if I can do both $CA and $US at the same time with Picatic.

Also I use Infusionsoft online for my mailing list, JVs and everything else and I like the people who sign up to my workshop to go to my Infusionsoft and I can do that using Paypal even though I am looking for an alternative for Paypal and can work with Infusionsoft.

I have been with Paypal since 2002 and one things that might take away from them is that I can't transfer my $US sales in US$ to Canada so I need to exchange first to $CA...

I have now the Couples Vision Board coming out for next month and I will post it with Picatic
and see...

Comments: Pros- great support.
Cons- using Picatic to run a Community Association, with many programs/events has been somewhat challenging but OK. Lots of potential just not enough time available to master the program and use it's potential.

Software changes took place at the end of 2015 and I have no idea what this Pro feature is costing our CA, but because I couldn't edit the tickets with the free version I signed up for Pro. Deadline for online was knocking at the door.

Picatic has given me the ability to have my attendees register right from our website.

Comments: The leaning curve was a little difficult when I first started but now I feel comfortable. I just started using the Pro features and so far I like them.
The one thing I discussed with Robbie was the issue of offering Early Purchase discounts and his suggestion was to create multiple pages so that when the deadline for one was over the new one would be in effect. Other than that I really have not had problems with your products.
I have noticed that you now have a setup to offer clients your own processing of credit cards. One of the reasons I choose Strip was the instant payments into my account. My small business does not have sufficient cash flow to pay vendors upfront, if I have to wait for the money until after the event is over. I feel this may be an issue with small companies like my self.
I teach continuing education classes and adding classes to your list of options for what the event is doing would be a nice little addition.

Comments: The software is easy to work with. The only difficult thing is when setting up payment method can sometimes be difficult but whenever I have an issue it is quickly resolved with the fantastic customer service I receive from your team.
I have recommended pic-a-tic to other charity groups I work with as it is one of the easiest.

Comments: There are a lot of newcomers to the ticketing space, and Picatic certainly warrants a look. While at the time of this writing, there are still a few features I'd like to see compared to a more mature product, it's clean, functional and the support is awesome. And their development team is seriously improving the platform every day.

Comments: It has been good, there are a few things that have changed since the beginning which make me upset but its still better than others.

1. Changing to swipe - we are a University we don't have traditional bank accounts, make it visible that the option still exists
2. We liked using the free pay for some events that were smaller and then others higher rates
3. I would like to see more design components for sponsors and logo placement. I hate that you can't change the font on the main screen and that options for designing to match the other materials is really hard.

Comments: We were all set to launch with Picatic/Wordpress, when the basic plan was stripped of all its value on 21 Dec, essentially forcing our client to consider moving to the Pro plan or find an alternative.

There was no forewarning of this change, and I guess being the free plan they're entitled to set whatever limits they like.

Still, they're now on par with EventBrite when all costs are tallied. Good luck if they can compete, but they're certainly no longer the price-disruptive startup they once were.

Comments: We began leveraging the power of Picatic about halfway through the 2015 Season of the Stanstead House Concerts Network. My only regret is that we should have started earlier. The team at Picatic is responsive - even when dealing with a small family music project like ours. They have answered our questions and resolved any issues - almost all of them due to operator-error (mine) with patience and understanding. Working with Picatic allows us to focus on actually hosting concerts rather than having to deal with all of the minutia related to ticket sales. The unique url links are excellent for promoting our events on social media - and our audience members report the purchasing process is quick, easy and secure. Quite frankly, Picatic has been one of the keys to our success.

Comments: The software is fabulous and the fact that there are no charges is
pretty amazing.

I've had a few difficulties with saving information, I've pressed save, it's confirmed it, the material on the event page confirmed it and then 20 minutes later all the changes reverted.

I've also found a little difficulty finding the ticketing information and class booking list, I did eventually end up finding it but it was completely intuitive to do so.

I'm still much happier with this platform than eventbrite, not just for the no fees aspect.

CONS
it would be great to be able to customize the "sponsors" title -- for instance, change to "partners"
would love to see a community feature added or some form of connection to LinkedIn profiles... a built-in model for facilitating conversation among attendees
would love to see some of the features that are set for aesthetic reasons be more easily over-rided by design-savvy individuals

Overall, LOVE using picatic and have been recommending it to others in our network as they are planning events... don't hesitate to reach out if you would like more detailed feedback.

Comments: The huge plus for this app is the possibility to scan ticket with a smartphone, this is easy, convenient and works very well.
Connection with Stripe s also a great feature because it allows you to get the money from tickets sooner than other ticketing app (usually it us after the event).
Had to contact the customer service for questions and they have been really helpful and fast to answer.

Comments: Overall it was easy to set up ticket collection site. It was flexible to accommodate last minute changes. I am our Reunion's Treasurer and expected to find the right software to work the event ticketing. It worked pretty much as described. Good reports for tracking activity. And the iPhone App to Check-in at the events was helpful.

Comments: It is awesome that a Canadian company has come up with a way to give events a free service. Setting up tickets & the ticket website was very easy. One does not need to know any coding language making this a very appealing system to volunteer/charitable groups. If you are in need of a simple system, this is an event ticket system for you. I would highly recommend it to volunteer/charitable groups running an event that need a simple registration system with a ticket output. I personally look forward to the system evolving. Currently the additional fields answers download in a separate report known as "Guest Surveys", thus having to merge the entrance list and guest survey list together for a complete report - if you are not good at excel, this would be a hindrance. As well, you can't run multiple events, with different bank accounts, under one Picatic account. As an event planner who has multiple clients, with multiple events, this means running multiple accounts and is inconvenient. All in all, it is a great system that just needs some time to evolve. I love getting my weekly sales reports in my inbox - I don't have to go into the system to see how the tickets are selling. Thank you Picatic - I can't wait to see what you do next!

Comments: I love the easy of use with Picatic (invoices, comp tickets, etc.). I would appreciate more options to ask questions and collect further information from participants as they register. Additionally, a few of our events require ticket prices to increase over time (ie. early bird, regular, late registration), having a feature to set this up would be great. Also, sometimes we require various ticket types (ie. student, speaker, regular participant, etc.) having the ability to set this up would be great as well.

Picatic is great for running our non-profit group's classes and events.

Setting up an event is quick and easy and enables non-profit's such as ourselves to recognize our sponsors in a meaningful way.
Picatic is not only a great product but set on revolutionizing the events marketing space with a great team who listen to their customers.
One small bug bear is when duplicating an event, I'd like the ability to duplicate the whole thing then take out elements no longer needed e.g. surveys, promo codes. This is relevant to our organization as event elements are very often repeated - not one off shows

Comments: I find Picatic very user friendly. Not only is it easy to set up the events, but there are features that provide a very professional look to the ticketing site. I especially like the ability to put not only the venue information and picture, but the host and sponsor information as well. The management tools available are easy to use and extremely helpful.

I have recommended this site for a lot of the non-profits we work with for their fundraising ticketing needs and they agree with the ease of use and professional look of the site.

Comments: Robbie has been great in working with me to use the service for our business card ordering model. Overall it is great. Sometimes it gets confusing when you update things and without knowing, I have to figure out how to find the things I am looking for. Entrance list for example keeps getting re-organized so I have to search around to figure out where it is located etc.

Would like to see a way to remove an event date so I don't have to show an event date, but realize how I am using it is not how you designed it.

Always want to use the same url after I close the event, so I cannot do that myself. I always have to get Robbie to make it work. It would be great that once it is archived, I can re-use the same url as we use a weblink to send our orders for payment. We do not want to keep reconfiguring the url to Picatic.

Being a University department, we are being advised that we have to eventually use approved PCI DSS compliant services, so I hope Picatic will be able to verify this compliance or we will eventually not be allowed to use Picatic. Robbie is aware of the emails I have sent him back in Nov 2014

Comments: We used Picatic for our annual EV Race/Rally, The E-mazing Race.

The event was really easy to set-up - it took about 15 minutes and we were live, selling tickets. The Wordpress plugin worked great and was easy to implement on our website. Our users have varying levels of technical skill and had no problem with checkout/ticket purchasing. (Our registration more than doubled over the previous year) We were also able to manage our registrants easily; gather survey information, contact registrants, and them to email lists.

Would definitely use this service again, and recommend it to others.

Comments: I've used Picatic numerous times - both for events at my previous job and to build a quick MVP of my current business - and its easily the most user friendly platform I've used. The software is intuitive, works flawlessly, and makes it easy for you to make your events look nice. I also really like the event tilting feature, as it allowed us to plan some events with basically no risk until we hit our targets.

Plus, if you ever get stuck they have a great support team! Robbie was quick to respond to any requests and very knowledgeable about their product. I will absolutely be using Picatic again.
